Also Ela, I had mentioned this on your threads and other threads about the Atifa track being the best kept secret - and only very very few on the cast and crew of JA knew of the track - well let me again say this - such a leap for SA would be an even more tightly kept secret and would be just presented to the audience - the best way for us as an audience is to gauge what is coming by 'Seeing' what is happening onscreen in terms of story instead of being in continuous denial - and what I see tells me that the leap is definitely happening and is around the corner - if it happens now, good and if it happens later, also good - as long as I do get a good story instead of the sorry state of affairs the show currently is, I am fine.

EK knows that either JA romance quotient has to be increased, or else leap has to happen ...since Atifa track, a change of strategies taken by PH is obvious...things had been stagnant for too long...though trps are stable now, imo, they cannot survive for long with the lack lustre scenes between the leads...

N being a shrewd business woman, she may not take the risk of replacing her leads. ...n all said n done, MEA may not have made money, but it ranks high amongst India's all time classics...

Hence...who knows...it may turn out to be a masterstroke...or it may not...😃
