Great points but I don't know why everyone keeps bringing up Mahabharat as some kind of great success. It was only in the last 4 weeks that it managed great ratings. It got terrible ratings for most the year that it ran. MB is a perfect example of a serial that has taken over the mantle of success for it's performance over just 4 weeks ignoring all that happened before.

Let's be honest. STAR has some kind of problem over the past 2 weeks because JA's 8.9 would only have got it a 3rd position on most occasions and even there we just pipped Kumkum.

Last's weeks rating. Maybe the bloodshed level was unpalatable for the TRP aunties, or Jalal's brutal behavior(for those who don't know history or have not seen the movie) or maybe it was Maham's curses. Whatever the reason, had it been any other serial, the death of 2 main characters would have caused a big bump in ratings. Even the cast and crew of JA must have been disappointed at the ratings, that is why there were no congratulatory tweets this week.

I believe a big chunk of the audience has left JA over the past few months because of abysmal tracks. To get this audience back a big buzz is needed. Only some big romantic quotient can provide that.

I agree that we need lots and lots of Jodha Akbar scenes and that also good ones to sustain the serial. ..romance can increase the trp. ..and I agree with you that MB picked up lately but donjas it was previously also among top ten

There is no way by which the romance quotient of the show can increase with this lead pair...period.

& without that, i fail to see how JA can survive over a sustained period of time with sibling type scenes or plain extempore between the leads...

i agree to the point of infinity ...we want romance ,love story ..we are still waiting coz this was what they promised us...that friday scene was so beautiful and you actually felt everything that was lost ...no ,i am not asking for a crying jalal in jodha's arm ..am just asking for ajalal in jodha's arm or vice versa...some meaningful romantic talks ...passion for me is not breaking bed...but able to hold each others hand and convey a lot ...kahaan gaye woh din 😭

Woh TE hi kya, Jo apni begum ko importance de! Samajho naa yaar, if Jalal is shown smitten by Jo then he is less tedha, I mean who in their right mind can get impressed by hot headed egoist,self centred, I am always right Jo???.. Emperor in love, being committed to his wife!!!! That is sacrilege and apaap...Which is historically incorrect and insult to great emperors intelligence

Sun the most awaiting scene for me will be jalal taking care of pregnant jo. .i told zee that jo is not looked after well and i want such scenes and he said don't worry mam jo is well looked after by all. .he didnt even say that they will look into the matter

i agree with u khushi completely! the romance shown has no life in it..it seems as if the scene needs to be done!
