I totally agree with all your points , though here the case is restriction of our freedom to Post that too on flimsy grounds. I just wish to convey the voice of the majority here, so that the administrators can have a re-look at their decisions..Afterall rules are flexible and can be given a second thought..

Rules are made for the betterment of Forum, but here this rule defeats the purpose, and it is NOT AT ALL practical to implement...History is a part and parcel of this show, despite dramatization.

There are many friends who want such threads to be continued here, some of whose comments' links i mentioned in my post, who share an extreme passion in the story of Akdha. And, add to this the fruitful discussions which we keep doing adds to our watching pleasure and in the end adds to forum activity only.
Looking from any perspective, There is no strong rationale for this rule. 😕

Happy Birthday Abhay!!!! God bless you...

I have always looked forward to your posts...they are rich and the effort that goes behind compiling these posts is back breaking...all members chip in from time to time to supply info, answer questions...restricting such a post can never do justice to its content...your posts are hub of healthy discussion and have earned their place in the forum...these posts have garnered praises and as a member of this forum I believe we need to expand their reach rather than streamlining them...I have full respect for the forum rules...but...here we need to take into account the above mentioned factors as well...the amount of hard work members put for digging out and sharing these facts deserve the extra mile we all should go to appreciate it...

Also I have read all of Abhay's threads and most of the hundreds of pages. I can honestly say I have never seen any kind of ugly post wars or fights on his threads.

It has been always about historical discussion, questions asked, answered and then again discussed about the information provided.

All kinds of trivia posts are also allowed then why not historical threads and posts.

Surely this forum is for all ages from 15 to 60-70 years or more. How can all threads be of interest to everyone. Due to lack of time we all graviate towards the threads which are of our liking or writers we admire.

Abhay's threads must be the only one which are of interest to everyone from ages 15 to 70, he made history interesting for us.

I have missed Abhay's posts and threads everyday since he has stopped posting.
It is like a huge gap in JA forum something vital is missing.

I do hope this issue gets sorted out nicely. After all we are members too and we really wish to read Abhay's threads and posts. Surely our voice also has to count right.

Ultimately we all know that IF JA forum has given us Abhay's threads and we all write and read so much here, enjoy ourselves hugely in the process. Surely a solution can be found for this.

@ Ayesha..very good point...a lot of us joined the forum because of Abhay's threads. And thanks for explaining how his threads are useful to the forum. He has options. The forum does not. Most of us are willing to follow him on a blog, a different forum or facebook . Ultimately, it will be forums loss...not his.
@ Maddy, agree...our voice should count. Even the constitution gets amended if hurts the public more than it helps them. Hope the DTs read this thread and amend the forum constitution.

Hi Suvi,
Thanks for the wishes...It's a pleasant surprise finding you here, interacting after a long time..
You just vanished after Part-2 thread, only to return for the Kids thread..And today here...

I do agree with all of your points, esp. the bit concerning forum rules. I have always followed them to the T, but this particular rule , really is NOT possible to implement for any practical reasons...As our show is a BIT Different from other soaps,,,,Confining history to ONE thread is NOT possible...Every now and then also, we keep having historical discussions on Episode threads...It is impossible to DISSECT History and the show, despite any Dramatization.. And history threads of the Forum are the most civil ones..!!!!!..

I really wish the rules are given a second thought by the administrators, as they are for the betterment of Forum Members in general...

Wow!!!!! reading a post from you after ages. The forum was not the same without your posts. We all missed your comments during the war track. And there were so many questions we had about the Kabul characters like MC, her daughters, new husband Haider, the blind minister,HM, AM, Munim Khan's son and many more...Unfortunately, we weren't able to access your threads either ...most of them were locked.

It is understandable why it so difficult for you to continue posting on this forum. I tried using the sticky thread several times. I was reminded of the time I was lost driving through countryside. Didn't have a GPS device in those days and kept driving deeper into a forest. Thanked my stars when I spotted a ranger who helped me. No such luck on the sticky thread. It is impossible to find what we are looking for or be part of a discussion. Too many interfering unrelated posts in between. Finally, I gave up
Hope we find a writer friendly solution to this problem soon. The forum misses its star writer.

Hi Cleo,
I have many similar issues about the questions you've raised. I took a stroll just now, on the sticky also. Not that, i don't answer there, but that is very unorganized, there is no continuity. And, no scope to make separate DEDICATED updates TOPIC WISE, as it is Done in Separate Threads. It is quite messy. History discussions are DIFFERENT. Can not be put up in a sticky. Many unrelated posts come in between..It is like entering a ChakraVyuh, only to come out with discontent...Saw many such comments there..
