Hi Abhay
Happy birthday ! Hope u have a wonderful day.

Do miss your detailed threads, they were very informative n well researched , sort of google of our forum :) it would be great if we can have them unlocked , as each one of them was specific to a particular person , incident , episode from history , now having that in a consolidated history discussion sticky will make our search for information tedious hence us losing interest and time in scanning thru unwanted pages.

Hope the DT understand why we need separate threads , they should look at such thing case by case before locking it and stopping useful , informative and healthy discussion.

But it is difficult to avoid POVs you disagree with on a sticky.

@underlined:

Yes, it is difficult to avoid different POVs on a single thread. You are forced to read posts you could ignore otherwise, as you have no other choice, while you search for the posts you do want to read.

Another thing that puzzles me is that if what Abhay writes is incorrect history, why allow it to be written even on a sticky? What cannot be posted on one thread cannot be posted on another thread also.

The purpose of a common thread for discussion is served if we just ask simple Qs and someone gives us direct answers. It is like an FAQ.

But if a lot of information is to be shared on a subject, it cannot be mixed up with info on some other subjects, doubts, clarifications, answers and general chat. The seriousness of the subject is diluted and the focus lost.

A Very Happy Birthday to You.😊

Dont know why I had tears reading you...no one can deny the fact that this forum did injustice to you in the name of new formed rules..normally a person who provides knowledge to us, we respect him, admire him...and here all I see people pushing the person off the cliff and dumping those pieces of knowledge into garbage! thats how u give "gurudakshana"!!!

beher hal, I know u r a fighter..keep fighting..for your rights, for justice.👍🏼

I dont want to comment on them who reported your thread..will say sach ki jeet humesha hoti hai...yaha bhi hogi.

We all r with you.

Tamy just like you - straight from the heart and so positive.
I loved your point, yes those who give us knowledge we give them "Gurudakshina" and Abhay has been educating us without expecting anything in return ever, always answering questions so patiently.

I completely agree with both of you with each word in both of your posts. I want to add to both of your posts that DT should note that due to Abhay's threads many forum members have joined and it is a major USP of JA forum in fact India-Forums. This would increase traffic in India-forums which is beneficial to its owners, DT members, MODS and even members like us. Look at it from economic POV, educative POV, marketing POV or any POV- Abhay's historical threads are treasure from all angles.

Agree with you all.

Also I have read all of Abhay's threads and most of the hundreds of pages. I can honestly say I have never seen any kind of ugly post wars or fights on his threads.

It has been always about historical discussion, questions asked, answered and then again discussed about the information provided.

All kinds of trivia posts are also allowed then why not historical threads and posts.

Surely this forum is for all ages from 15 to 60-70 years or more. How can all threads be of interest to everyone. Due to lack of time we all graviate towards the threads which are of our liking or writers we admire.

Abhay's threads must be the only one which are of interest to everyone from ages 15 to 70, he made history interesting for us.

I have missed Abhay's posts and threads everyday since he has stopped posting.
It is like a huge gap in JA forum something vital is missing.

I do hope this issue gets sorted out nicely. After all we are members too and we really wish to read Abhay's threads and posts. Surely our voice also has to count right.

Ultimately we all know that IF JA forum has given us Abhay's threads and we all write and read so much here, enjoy ourselves hugely in the process. Surely a solution can be found for this.

Maddy,
Where there is a will, there is a way. If we want to settle this issue, we can do it easily.

Just as all types of threads are allowed, something should be done to allow history threads also.
