But that is exactly how any good partnership including marriage works, at times one partner leads and other one follows and vice-versa. But then again it does take a certain age and level of maturity to understand that concept

is anything not in favour of jalal and jodha bashing? like something against popular opinion isnt wrong... even i agree. jalal is become begum and jodha is become shehenshah. agreed, jodha was a powerful woman during akbar's time. but wasnt akbar powerful? was he zoru ka gulaam i dont think so...

everyone has the right to express their opinion in general but apparently in this forum threads are shut down even when there is no fan war when certain ppl from the forum itself start reporting them...for example history geeks threads...if every one has the right to express themselves then why were abhays threads closed down?why have new rules been made against his threads,just coz some people reported his threads bcoz they felt he gave wrong info,well at least he dint just go to wikipedia and copy info from there and at least he dint give jahangir namas examples whose authors themselves r confused...i am ashamed of what the people here have become

It is a sincere request from my side that please do not spoil the mood of the forum by spreading negativity today! It is one of the rare days that we have had such a phenomenal episode! And majority of the people are happy today!

Irony in our forum Sara😆...All these kambal pe lappet ke marna words for Jodha are allowed...😡...They never come to anyone's notice nor are these people stopped by giving a warning...But you write one line about Jodha or Salima or Akbar in a historical vein and your thread will get closed for sure😆...

The concept of woman equality was different in 16th century not like 21st century

Akbar allowed his wives to follow their culture whether hindu, buddist or christianity but all of them converted to islam either before marriage or after marriage. Jodha also converted to islam but followed her religion within confines of the palace. Otherwise no mughal nobel will allow her son to become a emperor or crown prince. In islam and christanity and few other religions you cannot be legally married if both bride and groom are not from same religion. So for Jodha and Akbar to marry both nikaah and saath phera Jodha has to convert to islam otherwise nikaah cannot take place or its invalid. If you read history books and religious books you can know that fact.

There are lot of things about history if we read indepth to know actual truth and some can never be known. Through out akbar's majority time as emperor temples were demolished to build masjids. So we have to see Akbar's life through a prisim that had many colors but in finality looked white compared to other kings of that time. That is all i would like to say.

So do not confuse bollywood hero Akbar or serial akbar to real akbar that is a pure fictional take with some incidents matching his life.

Temples destroyed in Akbar's time. What blasphemy and you say that this serial is doing disservice to Akbar.

Ok, I have a deal with you. Give me one authentic historical record which says temples were destroyed in Akbar's time and I promise that not only will I tender to you a personal apology but I swear I will never comes to this forum again.

Forget religion, concentrate on the man, on his outlook on life. All the religious issues you bring in marriage matter only if the person cares about it, a person like Akbar made his own rules he didn't care what the ulema said.

And finally, I find it surprising that you have no belief in the achievements of Akbar and yet you are ready to tell everyone how this serial is debasing his image.

wait... is this forum only for people who enjoy the show? nothing against should be said against anyone? everything is based on perception. some people will enjoy this track, some wont. you cant say you dont like it go die. you have to accept both praise and criticism. there IS no freedom of speech anymore here. look at what happened to abhay's threads? why are they closed? because some so called fans couldnt handle the basic facts and chose to bury their heads in the sand like an ostrich. and there came that one thread rule.
