With due respect Akbar is one of the greatest monarchs ever. If at all people remember, they recall his Navratnas and not any wife. Only Mughal queen who is remembered is Noor Jehan.

Serials these days focus on mothers, sisters and wives to drag the serial but in history and actual scheme of things they do not matter equally or more than the kings.

There is another serial on other channel that is trying to give limelight to the king's wife whose name was never even heard of till now. Good for fiction or entertainment. But not to be taken seriously as a view on history.

On this topic, it is unfair to call Jalal a begum but it is true they sideline the character of Akbar and it is shocking how he is even shown captive though he was never held captive...atleast no record of such happenings anywhere.

a)This is a forum not a fanclub and members should either learn to accept differing opinion or ignore the same

b) This is show essentially a piece of fiction and not an absolute respresentation of history and even carries a disclaimer in this regard and members should understand that and not treat it as some abs representation of history and compare everything shown to history because historical accounts too are open to perception and that there is nothing like an absolute account

c) Moral Policing ,name calling members and getting personal with fellow members is against the rules.
