I totally agree wid u all. That wasn't a romantic scene but a perfectly handled & balanced emotional scene & it really touched my heart! When jalal said that hamam is d only place where noone can see my tears, where i can hide my tears oh god it was truely emotional! RT & PS both portayed it perfectly!

So when we get a certain scene which is not upto the mark according to one's standard, why blame the actors at all? They are working according to the script given to them, and what the director tell's them! When Akbar or Jodha does something stupid int he show, you can not go around blaming RT and PS for that, they are just doing their job.

No one forces us to think about a show---we can just watch it and leave at that---but if we think, we should do so with honesty and competence. Making a prior commitment to love or hate a particular person, whom we really don't know even after all the fan talk, is not a great idea for example.

At the highest level the show is conceptualized by EK and her team. If something goes wrong there, it is their fault, not RT or PS. In my estimate, something has gone wrong there: They attracted people with a promise of a love story between two historical characters. In the end we got neither history nor love, let alone both. People expected the show to be centered around history and love involving Jodha and Akbar, with side characters providing color and support. What they got was endless drivel involving side characters, that's how "tracks" get named, and the supposedly main story/characters languish in the background. This was the first stab, from EK and her team.

The second stab came from the actors, most likely PS. Even if disappointed with the history, people could have taken solace in the love story if honestly presented. Here I have no doubt whatsoever that most viewers over the age of 16 found it insulting to be presented with unconvincing love scenes full of wooden hugs, hesitant touches, even expressionless faces. Mind you, we didn't really need explicit passion. They could have avoided it altogether and just employed hints like a couple entering their private space and next morning coming out. However, the CVs wanted some explicit love scenes, director and a lead refused to communicate, actors failed or more likely refused to act the scene honestly, and the result is the hash we got.

Those who get the applause when audience is happy also get the boos when the audience doesn't like something. If EK didn't conceptualize the show properly or the director didn't direct a scene properly, who else is responsible but they? Similarly, if PS accepted a role and then refused to act the love/passion part honestly, who else is responsible?

I don't have any personal reasons to like or dislike EK, RT, PS or any other production staff. I am just looking at their finished product and calling out what I see.

Dear friends, are you ready for the ultimate shock: In the world of mass entertainment, there is a lot of bad half-baked stuff that gets pushed out in greed, for fame and fortune, from bad stories to bad dialog to bad music to bad acting to poor technical work, and some of it actually deserves to be bashed!

Or did we sign a contract to switch off our own brains and just clap like a robot at everything they sent in our direction?

Trps are not constantly on down trend, sometimesbased on episodes of the week it may oscillate. it happens with other shows also. that too there was .1 difference is there for 3rd and 4th places. let the bashers team go on bashing leads especially jodha/paridhi for no fault of hers, lets analyse only scenes and the acting part of the actors. afterall even if the bashers-team bash also nothing is going to happen to the actors as they are receiving awards and nice pay packs. so that shows that they have their set of fans and they don't mind a minority of bashers team. let's enjoy the show as per our wish and make the forum lively again. let the bashers team get their sukoon by bashing and live in negativity dreaming jalal to totally neglect jodha and jodha shut her mouth and promote male chuvenism which may be the case existing in and around the bashers team. sorry for harsh words.
