Superb take, Mansi... frankly i loved the episode...even the scenes of Ruku Jalal and Jo...i know many r miffed by Ruku's behavior and even with Jalal and Jo for tolerating her , rather giving her unnecessary importance...even i didn't like it, still i won't say they were wrong... all three of them were right in their places , in what they did, and the way they did...

the very first thing, Mansi, is we all don't like Jalal's behavior of tolerating Ruku... then look at it in a totally different way... he is not just any common man...he is a Shehenshah, with many enemies around him... he knows he can't name anyone as a friend and other as enemy... he knows he can't trust anybody, coz till date he has been backstabbed more from those whom he trusted as his own... and so he is well aware that his life is always in danger , even next moment he can die, and so he most desperately needs his child , his heir to come to this world safely... it's natural that the kid, and the woman who id bearing that kid becomes his top priority...

then again, not much time has gone when he has lost his kid that too with same woman, even before it was born... he was shattered then... he knows the pain to lose somebody close to his heart... and if he is not ready to take same pain again, can we blame him?

we as viewers , know Ruku is faking pregnancy... but the character Jalal doesn't know it... and just coz we hate ruku for cheating Jalal, we can't expect him to hate the would be mother of his child...

and as for his not saying the word when Ruku was insulting Jo, then he stayed quite only for some time... he rather gave back even more badly, presenting him and Jo as a team, and then declaring that henceforth Jo will accompany him all the time and everywhere, and thus showing that he and Jo r now unseperable... and with this very perfect act, he put ruku right in her place...

i won't blame him if he is taking her any tantrum... now he is in love with Jo, so us expecting that his relationship with Ruku should change fully, is simply not done... Ruku is afterall, herself the princess of his own family with same rights like his own, his first cousin, his first wife and queen, his best childhood buddy, with whom he has shared every moment of his life till he fell for Jo...and once before they both have suffered the loss of their unborn child... so now when she is abt to give him another child, then his taking extra care of her , is just fine...

and i don't think , he is hurting Jo... coz they have merged in eachother now... she is not different from him... rather it's her where he finds peace and solace... and so even when he doesn't like ruku insulting Jo, still he bears it, only coz he desperately craves that kid... and he knows Jo understands him, and won't misunderstand him, and that he can trust her to support him for his ignoring Ruku's bad behavior with Jo...he knows that now he had that much strong relationship with Jo, that trust in her to care for him and not hurting him...

friends, there is much more to say... this is not all... but right now , i have to go... will write more abt Jo when i come back...

Brilliant analysis Diksha! 👏👏👏
Just like the understanding between Jalal-Jodha, your understanding of the characters... wow, amazing!
Understanding is much deeper than knowledge, it is a three edged sword,,,,your side, my side and the truth! You brought it out brilliantly!

Wonderful analysis 👏

Completely agree with you, Mansi
JJ are extra careful in not openly showing their affection for each other in front of Ruqaiya. They try to hide it behind a sheer dupatta when she arrives. The dupatta makes them relaxed that they have shied it away from Ruq's eyes but their love for each other is so evident, no dupatta can hide it, in effect it becomes sheer as Ruq is able to see right through it.

Jalal bears a guilty look whenever he chooses Jo over Ruqaiya. And Ruq jumps onto that guilt and tugs on it which ultimately makes him ashamed of loving Jo and ignoring Ruqaiya, when he shouldn't be guilty at all.

But isme i don't see how this is Jalal's fault. It is Ruqaiya who makes him feel so bad about it. This is immature and unrealistic of her to hold on to Jalal like this, in a polygamous relationship. Being possessive of him is one thing but forcing him too choose between two wives is plain wrong. Jalal is legally married to Jo and she has as much 'haq' on him as Ruqaiya does. Jo understands this but why not Ruqaiya?? It is Ruqaiya's problem alone that she isn't able to handle it. Why does she need a proper talk about the shifting of Jalal's affections and his sharing of them with others, with Jalal? Did Jodha need to be sat down by Jalal and told by him that Ruqaiya is an important part of his life? She realises this herself. And always leaves to give them privacy (yesterday being an exception because she helped Jalal take the decision of not telling Ruq). Then why does Ruqaiya have to makes things so complicated??

Good analysis Mansi. The episode was not bad at all. I agree with almost everything that you have pointed out in the post but there are a few points to ponder

1. Jalal knows Ruq and her temper better than anyone else. Given her condition (Jalal doesn't know yet that the woman is faking it) he made a conscious decision. He feels ruq will blow her top and end up harming the baby if he takes a firm stand. Yes he is being indulgent towards her but this time round, I thought he was being so only because of the child.

2. Although it is a very selfish and somewhat mean thing to do but go back a few episodes and you will see how Jalal doesn't want to be anywhere near ruq. Even at her this condition, he prefers to maintain a cordial relationship with her at best. You may have noticed that Jalal doesn't enter her hojara if not to meet jo. If there was even an ounce of guilt in him he would have made it a point to spend maximum time with the mother of his child and do stuff OTT.

But he was unabashedly wooing jodha in front of Ruq, whispering and coochie cooing even love talking right in front of the BEK. If he felt guilty then he would have behaved strangely whenever jo was in ruq hojara. Jalal doesn't need to spell out his love for jo to everyone. It is for them to realise. He is not to blame if Ruq doesn't get it.

3. Coming to jodha. She very clearly stated the other day that she is hoping to better her relationship with ruq during this period. She wants to extend her hand of friendship and is thinking it will be reciprocated. She has also gauged how the child is of utmost importance to Jalal. And jodha feels it is her responsibility to ensure that everything goes off well.

4. In sum, while Jalal appears to be totally concerned about the child in Ruq's womb, he doesn't genuinely want to spend anytime with her. On his part he has made it clear with his actions that he is in love with jodha and ruq is only going to be the mother of the child.
Jo on the other hand thinks about ruqqiya the person and not waris dene wali. Therefore she was hovering about there and bearing all insults because she didn't want to hurt that woman because of what she is and not because of who she is bearing.

So, for me, they were not looking guilty but exasperated with all that boorishness and were dealing with it in their own mature yet teda way...

Point noted.!😃

I see your point but I don't think one person's behaviour can be blamed on another. Even if someone is immature and forcing us to behave one way, surely we have the ability to decide how best to behave, and whether to get influenced or not?

Mansi, bang on analysis for yesterdays episode...👍🏼

For me the guilty look on Jo and Jalal's face was more annoying than ruqu's foolish tantrums 😵.

I am totally in sync with your comments in green.
But I think more than Jodha, Jalal needs to put his foot down and rub it in face of ruqu that he now loves Jodha and nothing is going to change it, not even ruqu's (non-existant 🤢) child.

And in my opinion ruqu's pregnancy has nothing to do with the Jalal's guilt.... Also I don't think ruq doesn't know all this, she knows this very well but unless both Jodha and Jalal will not make it clear to her she will continue to take benefit of the situation and will make them feel guilty.

Now my worst fear...I am sure when ruqu's FP truth comes out she will definitely try to get away with it by sending them again on a guilt trip.

huh feels good to take this off my mind Mansi😊.
This is all for now, will write more about Namaz scene if time permits.

BTW do you think ruqu drama will unfold this week or they will khichofy it more?

Hated the first half of the episode cz of ruks behavior...she is spoilt child...the only thing that is making me bear her is the fact that she is going to be exposed...
With the new article I believe maybe till the end if this week or in mid of next week her truth will be out...for once I did think wt if Adam is caught n to save hi im Maham spills the beans about this fake pregnancy to jalal...but I thinking snthng happening like this is too much to ask fr frm the makers...

That's a line to think about (the one I've marked in blue. Worth debating this point!

Maybe by the end of this week we should have the Ruq exposure ... at least I hope so because this track has been going on for a bit too long!
