yep yaar no matter what jalal kept her as gis pampered child..she became the spoilt brat..but after this track its very difficult to salvage rukaiya

absolutely. Even i sympathize for her position as a woman. But this is the worst outcome of polygamy. Her fear of loneliness (without jalal) is only driving her action.

I don't take a woman in polygamy argument...ofcourse it was worse situation but that was how it was then. I don't say that women didn't feel for this malpractice, but certainly this can't be an argument for becoming psycho...Jodha is also in the same polygamous marriage as Ruqaiya with the same man...she expressed her fear and insecurity...also did Ruqaiya to the same man Jalal...and he assured both his women...then what is not common...it is the TRUST factor.

I also don't take of Ruqaiya being orphan argument...if we look, Jalal almost felt as an orphan, which he expressed time and again...so it would have been easy for Ruqaiya to make him feel connected...Jodha, who infact had a secured childhood...(during Jodha's attempted suicide track) Jalal felt her pain, he could connect with Jodha and never with Ruqaiya...

I would just say neither Ruqaiya found a Lover in Jalal, not Jalal found his beloved in Ruqaiya...They both just didn't have in them to take their friendship relationship to a lover-beloved level...am reminded of just one line for them, "Woh humsafar tha, magar uss say humnawaayi na thi"...why to find logic, we can not...its just the way, it had to be.

Don't get me wrong but to sympathize with oiginal Ruqaiya would demean her and this onscreen Ruqaiya would demean us...☯️

i like your POV mishti, ruk is shown as grey and that is how she will be until cvz plan to show her turning black or redeeming herself slowly once jalal cuts her off completely..hard to say and we cannot even connect to the natkiye rupantarized characters as inconsistency is bound to occur..but inspite of all she was jalal's first wedded wife and his responsibility and to ignore her completely because of his new found love will not make her do anything better but she will become worst..but then this is how the story will go..jalal will ignore her..she will feel more insecure and make more blunders...simple as that..if they show everything perfect, it will become like a day to day life and get boring na!
