thanks dear!..one cannot own anybody because motion is another form of living, if we stop moving we stop living..and if nothing is constant then how can we own something!

ruku is more in love with her power and position than jallu...she is jallu's best friend...but she never tried to emotionally connect with him...all she wanted is to rule jallu...not share his pain...share his sorrow...tried to understand him...she puts her own desires but never try to know what jallu desires...there is no love b/w them...its pure friendship...no doubt she cares for jallu...but she loves her power and position...otherwise she doesn't behave this rudely with jodha knowing that she too is the wife of jallu and he needs to give her the equal time...the way she insults and humiliate jodha is disgusting...the precap disgust me to no end...jodha is not a maid...but a queen

i agree mages,..in a marriage one accepts the other as is..and if that is not the case then no one can stop the law of motion..people move on..i will give you an example of stability, satisfaction, acceptability..and sthirta...and this is one of the 10 examples that i can give which means such people are very rare..now what is true love?..there was this couple..the man is an army officer..his wife was an average looking rather ugly compared to him..they were engaged in childhood..the wife is not even educated..arranged marriage happened..the husband used to go to the parties alone..and someone asked why he did not bring his wife and he said she is simple lady and she likes to stay home and not come to the parties..then one of his friends said jokingly that u two are not compatible in any way why not leave her,,the man said today u said this but never say it again!..she is my wife..she is the mother of my children..i do not care if she is not compatible..i have taken vows that i will take care of her for the rest of her life and always be with her...and that is my commitment as a man..i am satisfied and i am content with whatever god has given me...and that man never ever had an external affair..and remained faithful to his ugly looking wife..now is this true love?..i do not know but i would say that he accepted her with her flaws and remained committed to her ..never did he ignored her for someone better or fell in love with someone better..here the situation is that of polygamy..now is it fair to completely ignore ruk or is it ok to give them both their fare share?..doesn't matter how negative ruk might be i will always feel for a wife,,for a woman in her!

Wonderful thought process mandy..
This attachment is world and detachment is another world
Attachment is for life to continue. ..it ia for us to love...let us being loved.making relations and continuing them even after we are no more.the relations live on.
When a man dies he leaves a friend, a wife, a child, a neighbour to cry and miss him and vice versa.
If everybody is detached world will be relationless, only rational emotionless wasteland.
Death is imminent why should we cry practicality says..but still we cry, shed tears and miss the person.
We are possessive and attached that's why the world is beautiful.
That's why the Jodhas palace and place of rest still stand beside her lover, tajmahal still stands as a memoir of love.
All the great things are products of attachment and possessiveness only which grew out of love.
Detachment produces a wasteland while attachment produces Daffodils..I would prefer latter to live on in this world.though I've also many pangs of detachment like all
😆

yes, change is the only thing that does not change..ruk will also have to change with changing circumstances otherwise she will burn herself the way she is going!

To ur question it totally depends from person to person. One thing I have realized is if you find someone who truly loves you for what you are, then that stays forever, Love is basically sacrifice, compromise, understanding your partner so on.

yes..see I will put it up like..
Jalal always questioned jodha..why are you jealous or are you jealous? Since Benazir times..
He knew the answer because among all thousands of begums she was the one who was possessive of him.
Jalal wanted to be loved..to be possessed and desired..he wanted to be exclusively anyone's
But what he got wi it rukaiyah she claimed possessiveness for her status and BEK and said it makes no difference to her with whom jalal sleeps with.
Jalal was always given same answer..
This led his soul to be insearch of his better half..which finished in Amer.
Jodha was so possessive unconsciously that she hated Benazir and then she felt jealous of rukaiya too..
And on SR night she truly said love you so I can't share you.
In turn we get a more loving and possessive jalal for Jodha. .
Rukaiyah missed the bus..jalal has no eyes and ears for another woman now. Because his search is complete

Change is inevitable. But one thing never changes & that's true love. Earlier it was Ruq who used to get all attention from Jalal & now Jodha is everything for him. But its not fair to say that in future if Jalal finds someone better than Jodha, he'll forget her. No, that can't be called love. On their SR Jalal said to Jodha, "Aap bhale hi duniya ki sabse khubsoorat begum na hon par hum apni zindigi aap k hi sath bitana chahte hain." This one sentence says all. Even if he finds some one more beautiful than Jodha, his love for her will never change.

There's a difference b/w the conditions of both Ruq & Jodha. Jalal never loved Ruq. His relation with Ruq is the same. The only difference is that earlier only she was important to Jalal & now Jodha is also important to him. Had he loved Ruq, he would have never been attracted to Jodha nor fallen for her as love happens only once. Well, I won't say Ruq loves her auhada more than Jalal. She thinks agar auhda hai toh Jalal khud va khud uske paas rahega. But a lonely person in Shehenshah never wanted a queen but a soulmate which she could never become. What to do he never loved her and we can't force him to do so. Jalal always found a friend in her but could never find a wife, a lover in her.

Ruq never told Jalal abt her insecurities of losing him. When Jalal started feeling attracted towards Jodha he always asked Ruq, "Are you jealous of Jodha begum." And she always replied, "Why should I feel jealous, it doesn't matter to me with whom u spend ur nights. No body can snatch my place." If u remember when AkDha returned from Amer from Sukanya's wedding & Ruq came to know that JoJa spent night together, Jalal asked her the same question & she gave as usual answer then Jalal asked her one thing, "Ek dost ki tarah na sahi ek begum hone k naate toh apko jalan honi hi chahiye." Even Jalal was always eager to know if she loves him more as a friend or as a wife. I think Ruq always wanted him as a friend. She took Jalal for granted & then Jalal also took her for granted. He thought she'll have no probs with his & Jodha's relation. See, how Jodha let Jalal know her insecurities of losing him on their SR. Did Ruq ever say to Jalal, "Will I be no longer ur same best friend if u find ur love in any other woman?" If she had asked this question, he would have assured her that nobody can take her place in his life. But she never asked such question as a friend, she always behaved as BEK - "I have no prob regarding ur spending nights with other women till my auhada is safe." Why didn't she feel bad that Jalal is spending night with other women? Remember how Jodha reacted seeing Jalal with Ruq on the anniversary day & how Ruq reacted when she saw Jalal-Ben together. That sight had no impact on her. She was just concerned abt her insult & she became all normal when Jalal assured her & they started talking abt the match. She forgot what she saw a few minutes before. She herself proved many times that she's position conscious. She never concerned abt losing her friend but she feared of losing her auhada. '

Ur philosophy is great. We all know we came in this world alone & we'll leave it alone, still we can't stop loving & attaching to others. Agar aisa ho jaye toh insaan aur bhawvaan mein kya fark rahega?😊

beautiful thoughts neha and very well put together!..you have very well explained their situation..but we cannot blame anyone here..can we blame jalal for falling in love and eventually finding his heart!..or jodha for becoming his beloved..or ruk for her uncontrolled jealousy!..no!..there are certain things that are bound to happen..like we both agree change is inevitable and one leaves the world alone..and there are some lucky ones that find true love..but again how can we define true love in a polygamy set up and in a mother who has more than one child..can a mother love one child more than the other? or is it possible for a husband in a polygamy set up to behave as if he has just one wife even though he likes a few more than the others?..is jalal doing ok by ignoring ruk and not spending any time with her?

I think more than love its loneliness that hurts n kills u. Sooner or later u reconcile urself to the fact that ur alone n find others to fill ur time n take ur mind off ur troubles. Everything in judt there for the moment u live in but i have experienced that the bond u share with a sibling like a sister somehow is so strong that it gives a feeling of security that no matter what happens thre is someone who is on ur side. I guess with ruqqaiya not having a family besides jalal is what makes her so possessive of him.she has no one else to lose.

lovely dear!..jalal when married ruk it was an arranged marriage..they were maybe not that compatible..maybe jalal never accepted her as his wife..he just kept her on the pedestal of friendship than courtship!..ruk responded the way he wanted her to respond..he claimed to have no heart..so she played with his mind..now he has found a heart that belongs to jodha and ruk cannot recognize this man she does not know how to play with his heart..even though she is trying hard there cannot be another heart because the one he had is already under someone's possession..nothing will help her other than the time as time is the best healer...!
