Its true that we arrive n depart in this world alone but the space b/w arrival n departure is filled with the feeling of belonging to someone. When we find that we r nomore important for someone it internally kills us.
Same thing is happening with Ruks right now. For him Jalal was his hamdard, dost sauhar his wholr family but one fine day jalal finds his love n somewhere neglects his childhood friend. Now its killing her inside.
I wont agree that Ruks never loved Jalal. She loved him but his refusal of having heart never allowed her love to blossom. N now she hides her emotions by wearing a mask of Audha girl. Her continous rants about Audha is her way of consoling herself n denying truth.

mandyg...you can't force anyone to fall in love...love just happens...when it happens its unknown to you...there is no definition of love...it can't be define too...it just happens...jallu did not plan to fall in love with jodha...it just happens...its not his mistake that he never ever fall in love with ruku or his 5000 wives...destiny and fate plays the biggest part in everyone's life and here with jallu...he was destined to fall in love with jodha...
ruku is more in love with her power and position than jallu...she is jallu's best friend...but she never tried to emotionally connect with him...all she wanted is to rule jallu...not share his pain...share his sorrow...tried to understand him...she puts her own desires but never try to know what jallu desires...there is no love b/w them...its pure friendship...no doubt she cares for jallu...but she loves her power and position...otherwise she doesn't behave this rudely with jodha knowing that she too is the wife of jallu and he needs to give her the equal time...the way she insults and humiliate jodha is disgusting...the precap disgust me to no end...jodha is not a maid...but a queen

Ruks have affection towards jalal but she loves her position and power a lot. The hatredness and insecurity created by maham towards jodha is always there in her mind. Ruks always wanted to control jalal. But now everything changes so that only she takes the kid as a tool to control jalal and to seek attention from him. Pschologicaly some women's uses this technique to control their men and ruk also doing this only.Ruk does not want to lose jalal to anybody especially to jodha. The pain she felt and the tears she shed after seeing jo and jalal together is becoz she loses in the game of getting back jalal.Change is the only thing that doesn't change it applies to every person and to everthing in the world.😊

Beautiful lines Mandy...I just loved the shayari above.👏

Change is inevitable. But one thing never changes & that's true love. Earlier it was Ruq who used to get all attention from Jalal & now Jodha is everything for him. But its not fair to say that in future if Jalal finds someone better than Jodha, he'll forget her. No, that can't be called love. On their SR Jalal said to Jodha, "Aap bhale hi duniya ki sabse khubsoorat begum na hon par hum apni zindigi aap k hi sath bitana chahte hain." This one sentence says all. Even if he finds some one more beautiful than Jodha, his love for her will never change.

There's a difference b/w the conditions of both Ruq & Jodha. Jalal never loved Ruq. His relation with Ruq is the same. The only difference is that earlier only she was important to Jalal & now Jodha is also important to him. Had he loved Ruq, he would have never been attracted to Jodha nor fallen for her as love happens only once. Well, I won't say Ruq loves her auhada more than Jalal. She thinks agar auhda hai toh Jalal khud va khud uske paas rahega. But a lonely person in Shehenshah never wanted a queen but a soulmate which she could never become. What to do he never loved her and we can't force him to do so. Jalal always found a friend in her but could never find a wife, a lover in her.

Ruq never told Jalal abt her insecurities of losing him. When Jalal started feeling attracted towards Jodha he always asked Ruq, "Are you jealous of Jodha begum." And she always replied, "Why should I feel jealous, it doesn't matter to me with whom u spend ur nights. No body can snatch my place." If u remember when AkDha returned from Amer from Sukanya's wedding & Ruq came to know that JoJa spent night together, Jalal asked her the same question & she gave as usual answer then Jalal asked her one thing, "Ek dost ki tarah na sahi ek begum hone k naate toh apko jalan honi hi chahiye." Even Jalal was always eager to know if she loves him more as a friend or as a wife. I think Ruq always wanted him as a friend. She took Jalal for granted & then Jalal also took her for granted. He thought she'll have no probs with his & Jodha's relation. See, how Jodha let Jalal know her insecurities of losing him on their SR. Did Ruq ever say to Jalal, "Will I be no longer ur same best friend if u find ur love in any other woman?" If she had asked this question, he would have assured her that nobody can take her place in his life. But she never asked such question as a friend, she always behaved as BEK - "I have no prob regarding ur spending nights with other women till my auhada is safe." Why didn't she feel bad that Jalal is spending night with other women? Remember how Jodha reacted seeing Jalal with Ruq on the anniversary day & how Ruq reacted when she saw Jalal-Ben together. That sight had no impact on her. She was just concerned abt her insult & she became all normal when Jalal assured her & they started talking abt the match. She forgot what she saw a few minutes before. She herself proved many times that she's position conscious. She never concerned abt losing her friend but she feared of losing her auhada. '

Ur philosophy is great. We all know we came in this world alone & we'll leave it alone, still we can't stop loving & attaching to others. Agar aisa ho jaye toh insaan aur bhawvaan mein kya fark rahega?😊

@Bold Ruqaiyya had asked this question, after Jalal's birthday, when morning after Jalal told her that he now sees a verry good friend in Jodha Begum...He'd said then that no one can take Ruqaiya's place in his life...and he'd reiterated this to Jodha as well. Still Ruks insecurity shows, she doesn't TRUST her best friend Jalal...when Trust isn't there, nothing else can flourish..
From jalal's perspective, wrt Ruks nothing has changed...but for Ruks..she's living in fear of losing something, which she never had, Jalal the Man and his Heart...

Hasn't Jalal also explained to Jodha on their SR, that change is the only constant, but what will not be erased will be the, "Ehsaas for her in him", which will always be there.

perfect analysis. we cant actually blame jalal for not falling in love with ruku. for me whether ruku loves jalal or not is a separate issue. thts actually not connected with jajo love. love just happens. well as per ruku goes yes she loves auda & power no doubt, but her love is also there, bcoz we cant forget tht she slapped hoshiyar when he suggested her to kill jodha's baby & tht was a genuine concern for jalal. but her taken for granted attitude towards jalal & her bad behavior towards others over shadows evrything. jealousy is not a crime, even jodha also got jealous, but u cant be blind in jealousy. yes jalal loves jodha but jalal treasures ruku as a friend. their relationship is also not only physical for jalal. so she should have understood tht.

I dont really know if ruqqaiya loved jalal or the emperor. But i do know that love doesnt necessarily conquer all. Staying ina bad marriage for my kid i realized that love either fades away or gets coved by layers of anger n sadness till u cant find it inside u. I think more than love its loneliness that hurts n kills u. Sooner or later u reconcile urself to the fact that ur alone n find others to fill ur time n take ur mind off ur troubles. Everything in judt there for the moment u live in but i have experienced that the bond u share with a sibling like a sister somehow is so strong that it gives a feeling of security that no matter what happens thre is someone who is on ur side. I guess with ruqqaiya not having a family besides jalal is what makes her so possessive of him.she has no one else to lose.

sometimes i wonder what life is all about!..why we are so possessive about something that is temporary..these relations are temporary..a child grows into adulthood..the parents break their nuptial cord from the adult child..then the child marries..has children and a wife..then children leave and wife remains..till when who knows..she can find someone else or she can die..nothing is fixed, this is a moving world..changing world..yesterday it was rukkya everything for jalal, today its jodha, and what if there is someone better than jodha that comes along..are these relations fixed..nothing is fixed..then why ruk why u cry so much..one comes alone in this world and goes alone..if love is that deep then why we go alone?..love is a necessity but only when we get from the one that truly loves us..jalal never loved ruk, ruk always took him for granted and thought he will always be hers but nothing is stable..governments change..people change..life changes..what lives is ek ehsaas jo insaan ke ander jagta hai jab wo inn sab se guzarta hai..bus wohi zinda rehta hai...!

Wonderful lines. It really nailed me.
(Is it your own creation or from any poem or book)
Liked it so much.

This is infact the off suit of child marriage. Ruq is still the child in mind. People praised her to be intelligent and brainy and that thought got too much into her head. This made her think others' are just a spec. Jalal also gave importance to her as a best friend, because they grew up together. Its natural they understand each other's thinking and behaviour easily. She thought jalal is just behind other women of the harem for nights and once his need is over, he comes back to her. So she was ok with him staying with any other women. But jodha is threat to her position. she had the guts to contest in the harem warden election, guts to tell everything on jalal's face, which makes him more attractive to her (sometimes unknowing to himself). This fear is making her do all these things that she is herself digging her pit.
