CHAPTER:9
It was a lovely evening as Jodha got out of her pallak and stood before the Draga .She looked at Jalal who got down from his horse and looked at Jodha with a smile.Jodha too smiled at him and she went and stood near Jalal.Once Jodha came near Jalal he took her hand in his and smiled at her.This was noticed by Ruqaiya and she started to boil in anger.
''Smile Jodha smile.This will be last journey who are going to spend with Jalal.so smile how much u want''thought Ruqaiya in her mind.Once everyone gather all of them entered the Draga .Once they entered the Draga the priest greeted them and asked our Akdha to pray together for their welfare.Hearing this Ruqaiya got an idea and had a evil smile.
''Jodha begum i think once u must watch us doing the prayer as u r a hindu u can't know how to do all this.If u r ok can i explian how ?''asked Ruqaiya with a smile .Hearing this Jalal got angry as he never like anyone advicing his jodha .Before he could say anything Jodha held his hand and stopped him knowing his anger very well.
''Yea Ruqaiya u r right that i am a hindu.But i know how to pray in Draga .But u can tell me if there is any mistake after finish this prayer''said Jodha with a smile and looked at Jalal and gave him a understanding look.Then both our Akdha started to pray and Jodha did the prayer perfectly even more than a muslim shocking everyone .After they finished their prayer Jodha looked at Ruqaiya with a smile.
''So Ruqaiya is there any mistake in my prayer''asked Jodha with a smile.But before Ruqaiya could answer Hamidha came and hugged Jodha and kissed her forehead.
''Its so perfect beta.Even a pure muslim could not do it this perfectly .Now i know why my son choose u 'said Hamida with a smile.Hearing this Ruqaiya felt like someone slapped her.Then others finished their prayers and left the Draga .Once they out of the Draga all of them gave offerings for the beggars.
''We will leave for the temple now .Its a 30 minutes walk inside the forest .So i think salima begum u must stay with Rahim here we can't take risk''said Jalal looking salima.Salima agreed to him and nodded her head.Jalal ordered some guards to protect salima and Rahim and they left to the temple.

Once they started walking inside the forest .While walking Miraz got bored with this silence and started a conversation with Jodha who was walking in between Jalal and him.
''Bhabhi can i ask u something?''asked Miraz with a smile.Jodha looked at him with a smile .
''Sure Miraz''said Jodha while Jalal gave him a ''what u now upto?''look.But Miraz ignored Jalal and looked at Jodha again.
''Actually babhi its been so long i had kheer u made so can u prepare it for me?''asked Miraz with a childish smile.
''Ofcourse Miraz i will make kheer for u tonight when i prepare breakfast for everyone tomorrow''said With a smile seeing his childishness.
''Excuse me .Jodha u didn't tell me u r going to prepare breakfast tomorrow.''said Jalal looking Jodha .
''Shahenshah it is a ritual that a wife should prepare breakfast the next morning after she comes to their husband house''said Jodha .
''No Jodha i am not going to allow u to prepare breakfast .U must not stain urself''said Jalal with a little anger .
''But its a ritual and i must do it.Ammijaan please explain him na ?''said Jodha looking at Hamida .
''Beta Jodha is right its a ritual and Jodha must do it ''said Hamida with a smile .
''No Ammijaan i can't let Jodha to cook for all .She will be tired and i don't want to her to work so much .so its my order that Jodha will not cook tomorrow''said Jalal in a stern voice.This made everyone to smile but Jodha was getting irritated by his over protectiveness.
''No shahenshah this is not fair .Its a ritual i will do it''said Jodha with a angry face.
''No Jodha i will not allow it''said Jalal.But before Jodha could replay Miraz who was getting annoyed seeing their silly fights again cut hem off.
''Stop it u both''said Miraz in an annoyed voice and both Akbar stopped their arugment and looked at Miraz .
''Are u both five ?Really bahijaan and bhaibhi u are acting like five years old.Now i have a solution for ur problem.Bhaijaan u don't want bhabhi to strain so much right ?and bhabhi u also want to complete the ritual right?''asked Miraz and both of them nodded their head.
''Ok then bhbhi cook breakfast for bhaijaan alone and prepare only kheer for all of us.so b this the ritual will also be complete and u will also be working less like bhaijaan want .Are u both ok with it?''asked Miraz and our Akdha thought for few minutes and agreed to him.
''Ok Miraz we are ok with this''said Akdha and Hamidha smiled at the trio .As they walked few more suddenly all of them was surrounded by many men who was in complete white dress covering their faces .Seeing them Miraz ,Jalal,Bairam khan and Jalal's soilders got alert .
''Miraz u take Jodha,Ammijaan and Ruqaiya with u and keep them in a safe place .We will take care of these guys''said Jalal in a authorized tone and Miraz as he said.As they Jalal and other kept fighting Miraz took the ladies to a safe place .But as within seconds someother men rounded Miraz and the ladies too and Miraz started fighting with them.Jodha could make out that Miraz can't fight so long as they are large in number.
''Ammijaan and Ruqaiya ji .U too please hide here i will help Miraz ''said Jodha and made them to sit behind some bushes .
''No Jodha beta its not safe u to stay with us''said Hmaida in a concern voice.
''No Ammijaan i can't let Miraz to fight alone and don't worry i will be fine''said Jodha and ran towards Miraz taking a sword which lay on the ground near one of the men's deathbody.
Here Miraz was fighting with his full strength ,then he saw Jodha too joining with him.
''Bhabhi what are u doing here .please go and stay with Ammijaan .''said Miraz in a concern voice.
''No Miraz i can't leave u to fight alone .Lets finish these guys soon''said Jodha and both of them started fighting .Within 20 minutes Jodha and Miraz killed half of the men and only few of them were left.Seeing Jodha's fighting skills Ruqaiya got shocked and started to fear .
Here Jalal and others who were fighting other killed all of them and Jalal thought of going to his Jodha.
''Khan baba lets go and see whether others are all right ''said Jalal and they went to help others.
Here Jodha who was fighting felt something suspicious about the men and she thought of discussing with Jalal once they reach the palace.But while thinking this Jodha lost her concentration and the men who was fighting with her took this opportunity and gave her a deep cut on her left hand .Jalal who reached they with the others saw this and ran towards her.
''JODHA''screamed Jala and cut the man head in go and seeing his anger the other men ran to save their lives.Jalal looked at the running men with anger.
''I want all of dead within 2 hours and get me one of them alive''ordered Jalal to his guards and they left following the men as per Jalal's order.Then jalal turned towards Jodha and took her into a bone crushing hug while Jodha too hugged him back .After few seconds Jalal broke the hug and took her hand and looked at the wound which was still bleeding.
''Jodha are u out of ur mind?Who asked u to fight with them .see how much blood is wasting''said Jalal and tore her pallu and tied it around the wound to stop the bleeding.
''I am alright .Nothing to worry yaar''said Jodha holding his hand .But Jalal was so much angry on her for her stupid act and didn't respond to her.
''I think we must head to the palace ASAP.Its not save here.we can come to temple again after somedays.''said Jalal and everyone started their journey to the palace.

Once they reached the palace Jalal immediately took jodha to Hamida's room and called the hakim and ordered to treat her wound.After dressing her wound hakim looked at jalal .
''Shahenshah Jodha begum is fine .Though the cut was deep it will be ok in 3 or 4 days .So nothing to worry .Please apply this lape teice a day for the next one week ''said Hakim and Mothi received the lape from hakim.
''Thank u hakim ji .U can go now ''said Jalal politely and Hakim left the room.As hakim left the room Hamida came and sat beside jodha taking her hand into hers.
''Are u alright beta ?''asked Hamida with a concern tone .
''Ammijaan i am perfectly alright .''said Jodha with a smile.
''But beta what is the need of fighting with them .What if something happened to u ?''asked Hamida .
''Ammijaan how can i kept quiet when Miraz is fighting all of them alone .He is also like my brother Ammijaan.''said Jodha with a smile.But Miraz was feeling really guilty thinking he was responsible for this and he failed to protect his bhabhi.Miraz came near Jodha and sat infront of her on his knees .
''Bhabhi i am really sorry .I must have protected u from them.Today i really failed as s brother and devar''said Miraz with a guity tone and lowered his head .Jodha was feeling bad seeing him like this and stood up and caught Miraz's shoulder and made him stand up and she cupped his face with one hand .
''Miraz its not ur fault and u didn't fail as a brother and devar and never will.''said Jodha with a smile.
''But bhabhi what is the need of helping me?what if something happened to u?''asked Miraz with a little anger.Jodha smiled at his anger knowing how worried he was .
''Miraz u always use to tell that i am also like a Ammi to u right?''asked Jodha to which Miraz nodded his head.
''Then how can a mother see her son in trouble Miraz.u are also like a son to me and i can need see in any kind of pain''said Jodha with a smile and Miraz too smiled back at her with moist eyes.
''Thank u bhabhhi.''said Miraz and Jodha took him into a motherly hug and Miraz too hugged her back.Seeing their pure bond Hamida got tears in her eyes and thanked Allah for sending a lovely person like jodha in their life .Jalal too got emotional seeing this and smiled at both of them.Though seeing them like this was not new to him,the bond his brother and his wife shared made him feel the happy and content .Biaram khan too smiled at them knowing how much Miraz and Jodha care for each other.But Ruqaiya was the only one buring in anger seeing this as she was already upset coz of her failed plan.After few second Jodha and Miraz broke the hug and Jodha kissed his forehead.
''So my dear Miraz from today i must not hear these stupid things from ur mouth ok?''asked Jodha with a smile.
''Ok bhabhi''said Miraz with a smile.Then hamida thought that everyone must fresh up as it was nearly dinner time.
''Ok now everyone go and fresh up before having the dinner ''said Hamida with a smiled and Ruqaiya with Bairam khan left the room.
''Ammijaan today we will have the dinner in our room ''said Jalal .
''Sure beta .I will send u both dinner by maids''said Hamida with a smile.
''Ok Ammijaan .we will leave now .And Miraz u too have ur dinner otherwise u should pay for not having dinner understood ?''asked Jalal with a stern voice knowing Miraz will not have dinner coz of his guiltiness.
''Ok bhaijaan i will.''said Miraz with a smile seeing his brothers concern .Then Akdha left for their room to fresh up.

As Akdha walked hand and hand to their room Jalal was so quiet and Jodha know he was still anger on her for risking her life.Once they entered their room Jalal left her hand and was about to go away from her,but Jodha held his hand .
''Jalal i am sorry''said Jodha and turned him towards her .
''Its ok Jodha.u go and fresh up''said Jalal not meeting her eyes .Jodha cupped his face and made him look into her eyes .
''Jalal i know u r still angry with me.But try to understand Jalal how can i see them hurting Miraz .He is like my son jalal and can u able to handle if something happens to Miraz''asked Jodha trying to make him understand .Jalal too understood her feeling and he know how much Jodha loves Miraz and even he can't tolerate if something happens to Miraz .But at the same time he can't risk her life too.
''Jodha i know u did that for Miraz but what if something happened to u.I can't never see u in pain Jodha .Promise me u will never do something like this again ''said Jalal in a soft voice cupping her face .
''Ok baba i promise,but Jalal i am really hungry now so lets fresh up soon and eat our dinner''said Jodha rubbing her stomach.Jalal smiled at this kissed her cheek .Then Jodha left to the washroom leaving a smiling Jalal.
Once Jodha came back both of them had their dinner feeding each other .After they finished their dinner,Akdha sat on their balcony side hugging each other and was looking at the beautiful sky in a complete silence .After few minutes Jodha thought of something and thought this is the right time to discuss it with him.
''Jalal i have to tell u something''said Jodha looking at Jalal .Jalal too looked at her .
''What is it Jodha?''asked Jalal sensing the seriousness in her voice.
''Jalal the men who attacked us this evening ,i feel something suspicious about their attack''said Jodha .On hearing the word attack Jalal body got tensed and he hugged her more closer.
''What is it Jodha ?''asked Jalal with a serious tone .
''Jalal when they were attacking us i noticed that their attack on Miraz was very light while the attack on mine was heavy.Even u all returned without a small wound on u''said Jodha .After listening to Jodha Jalal too realized that Jodha was right .Now he realised that even when they were fighting the attack of the men was not heavy.
''Jodha it means someone is trying to harm u''said Jalal in an angry tone .
''Yes Jalal even i was thinking the same .But we have to find out who is their leader first .''said Jodha thought fully .Jalal too nodded his head and cupped her face .
''Jodha i acn never loose u ,so please take care of urself .U r my everything .Without u i can never survive Jodha.''said Jalal with an intense expression.Jodha could sense his fear of loosing her and took his hand in hers and kissed it.
''Jalal i promise u i will be always with u.Even i have to fight with the death i will fight for u Jalal .so stop worrying about me .''said Jodha with a lovely smile.
''I love u Jodha''said Jalal and hugged her burying his face in her hair and Jodha too hugged him back.
''I love u too Jalal ''said Jodha with a smile and closer her eyes .After few minutes when Jalal broke the hug he found Jodha sleeping like a small child and smiled at her sleeping form .He started to admire her beauty in the moonlight and caressed her face lovingly .Then Jalal slowly lifted her and entered their room .He slowly placed jodha on the bed and removed her jewels and laid beside her covering them with a blanket.Then he hugged her closer to him and started to cares her hair as sleep was miles away from his eyes tonight .He was wondering who will be trying to kill his Jodha and was furious on the unknown person .He was so determined to find that person and to punish like hell.
''I promise u Jodha , i will always protect from all the dangers even if it cost my life''said Jalal and kissed her forehead .

THE NEXT MORNING:
The next mornring Jalal woke up from his sleep as he heard the lovely voice of Jodha who was singing prayer in the temple in their room and instantly his lips curved into a beautiful smile hearing her divine voice.Jalal immediately got up from the bed and went to washroom to take a bath.When he came out of the washroom wearing his clothes he saw Jodha coming out of the mandhir with the prasad .Jodha came near Jalal with a smile and forwarded the pooja plate.
''Jalal prasad''said Jodha and Jalal took the prasad with a smile.Once he ate the prasad ,he took the sindoor from the plate and filled Jodha's maang with love and care..Jodha closed her eyes feeling the moment .This is the moment Jodha always dreamed of .She always wanted the sindoor in her maang to hold his name.After few seonds Jodha opened her eyes and looked at Jalal who was smiling at her.
''Why are u smiling Jalal ''asked Jodha with a confused look.
''Nothing Jodha i was just wondering how can u become more ans more beautiful everyday.''said Jalal and Jodha blushed hearing this.
''Ok now stop ur romantic dialogues and get ready we have to go to have breakfast with other .I will return giving prasad to all''said Jodha .
''Jodha u prepared the breakfast today?''asked Jalal.
''Haan i prepared it.We talked about it yesterday right?''asked Jodha with a confused expression..
''Jodha u just got a deep cut yesreday and today u have cooked to breakfast .Why can't u take care of urself properly haan?''asked Jalal with a little anger.But Jodha could see his concern behind his anger and held his shoulders keeping the pooja plate on the table.
''Jalal i know u r concern about my health.But its a ritual Jalal and i have to do it.Apart from the ritual its gives me happiness whenever i cook for u.And as u said i only cooked for u and prepared kheer for everyone,so please don't be angry na ''said Jodha with a cute pout.Jalal's anger melted in seconds seeing her cute face ,but he thought of playing more.
''Ok ,but u have to do something to melt my anger''said Jalal showing fake anger.
''Ok baba tell me what should I do ?''asked Jodha with a smile.Jalal pulled her closer by her waist and looked at her with an intense eyes and whispered near her ears.
''Kiss me''said Jalal in a husky voice and Jodha smiled while blushing .Then Jodha slowly came near his face and Jalal closed his eyes feeling her hot breath on his face.Seeing him clsong his eyes Jodha took the pooja plate from the table and kissed her cheek and moved out of his hold .Jalal immediately opened his eyes with shock and looked at Jodha who was giggling at his shocked expression.
''Jodha this is not at all fair''said Jalal with a puppy face .
''I love to be unfair with u my love.Now put a pause buttom to ur naughty thought ang get ready to go for breakfast ,i will be back giving prasad to everyone.''said Jodha and left the room with a smile.

IN DINNING HALL :
Everyone was waiting for Jodha and Jalal to have their breakfast.After few seconds Akdha entered the hall and everyone stood up and wished them.
''Thank god bhaijaan u both finally came.I was waiting so eagerly for bhabhi's kheer ''said Miraz with a smile .
''Don't worry devarji u can how much kheer u want .None is going to stop u ''said jodha with a smile and Jalal shook his head with a smile.After they settled down Jodha kheer was firsted served to everyone and everyone loved it so much.Then everyone started to have their food and Jodha served the food she made for Jalal .As they continued to eat Jodha looked at Jalal and found something was wrong .
''Jalal are u alright?''asked Jodha with a concern voice.
''Yea Jodha everything is fine''said Jalal with a smile which didn't reach his eyes.But Jodha know she can't discuss this here and thought of asking it once there are alone.After everyone finished the breakfast Hamida gifted a diamond ring as gift and praised the kheer.As everyone left the hall Jalal looked at Jodha .
''Jodha i have some work i our room .I will leave now''said Jalal and left the room .Jodh was so confused by his behavior .
''Bhabhi the kheer is so nice .Thanks u so much for preparing ''said Miraz with a smile.
''Its ok Miraz .''said Jodha with a smile.
''ok bhabhi i must leave now .I have some work.''said Miraz and left the room with a smile.As Jodha was about to go out of the hall ,she tought of something and turned towards the seat where they ate .Jodha saw they was some piece of roti and some rice was still left in Jalal's plate .She went and took the plate and ate the left over.The next moment Jodha's eyes widen in shock and she ran towards their room

AKDHA'S ROOM:
As Jodha entered their she found Jalal sitting on the bed with red eyes and taking heavy breath and coughing .She immediately ran towards the tempple and took some laddos from the plate and rushed to Jalal and sat beside him cupping his face.
''Jalal eat this laddo now ''said Jodha and Jalal immediately took the laddos from her hand and ate it .As Jalal ate the laddo he somewhat calmed town and stopped coughing.Jodha immediately hugged him and started rubbing his back.
''I am sorry Jalal.I am really sorry''said Jodha as tears escaped from her eyes seeing his state..After few seconds Jalal completely calmed down and broke the hug cupping her face .
''Jodha its ok .See i am fine now''said Jalal with a smile.But Jodha was really hurt seeing his state as its coz of her and was angry on Jalal for eating the food.
''Jalal what is the need of eating the food when u can handle it.Even i had tears eating some as there was so much chilies.Are u out of ur mind ?''asked Jodha with anger.But Jalal know she was more guilty than angry .Jalal wiped the single tear escaped her eyes .
''Jodha first i am alright .How can i reject the food infront of all which was prepared by u .I can never hurt ur feelings and that to infront of others.''said Jalal in a soft voice
''But Jalal u r suffering coz of the food .''said Jodha
''No Jodha i can never suffer coz of u .Though the food contained so much chili ,it didn't hurt me as there is ur love in the food .so please stop feeling guilty''said Jalal with a smile.
''But Jalal i checked the food after preparing it .Everything was perfect then .But how it got more chilies ?''asked Jodha .
''Don't worry about it Jodha .Everyone in the palace are not good and i know it well.Don't worry i will find the culprit soon''said Jalal .Jodha immediately cupped his face and looked deeply into his eyes .
''I am sorry ''said Jodha and took him into a soft kiss removing his all pain.Jalal too responded to the kiss softly .After few seconds they broke the kiss and Jodha rested her head on his chest and hugged him closer.
''I am sorry Jalal .i will be careful from next time''said Jodha in a sad tone .Jalal hugged her closer and kissed her head .
''Jodha its not ur fault so there is no need of sorry.I will even have poison happily if it was prepared by u .Its nothing for me love.so no more blaming urself ok''said Jalal with a love filled voice and Jodha hugged him more closer and nodded her head .After few minutes Jalal broke the hug and cupped her face and kissed her forehead.
Just then Rahim came running into the room and wished Akdha and Akdha wished him back.
''So what is little rahim doing here ?''asked Jodha with a smile.But Rahim looked at Jodha with an angry face.
''Chotti Ammijaan i will not talk with u coz i am angry ''said Rahim in his childish voice.Jodha smiled at his cute anger and made him sit on her lap.
''May i know why my friend is angry with me?''asked Jodha.
''I am angry with u coz u forget to tell me story yesternight ''said Rahim and Akdha smiled at him.
''Oh my friend i am so sorry.Actually i was not feeling well that's why i can't tell u any story ,but i promise i will surely tell u a wonderful story tonight ''said Jodha with a smile.Hearing this Rahim got worried and looked at Jodha.
''Chotti ammijaan are u alright now .What happened to u ?''asked Rahim with a worried voice and Jodha was moved by his care and kissed his forehead.
''Ofcourse Rahim i am alright.''said Jodha with a smile.Then Rahim turned towards Jalal .
''Shahenshah its ur duty to keep my chotti ammijaan good na .Then why she got sick?.If again she got sick then i will take her with me to my room and will never allow u to meet her ok.''said Rahim in a stern voice and Jodha burst out laughing seeing this .
''Ok my sweet Rahim i will take care our chotti Ammijaan from now on.''said Jalal with a smile.
''Ok Chotti Ammijaan i will go and play now''said Rahim and Jodha let him down and Rahim ran out of the room .
As Rahim left the room Jodha again started laughing remembering Rahim's cute thread and Jalal looked at Jodha with a pout.
''Jodha this is too much within 24 hours Rahim started to defend u aganist me .This is so unfair Jodha ''said Jalal with a cute pout.Jodha smiled seeing his cute pout and pinched his cheeks lightly .
''Its coz Jalal a child knows who is devil and who is angel .so everyone will always support angel thats why even Rahim support me''said Jodha with giggle and Jalal looked at her with a shocked expression.
'' So u r telling me that i am the devil haan?''asked Jalal with an shocking expression.
''Ofcourse Jalal as i am the angel here so u r the devil''said Jodha with a smile.Jalal got a naughty smile on this and got up from the bed.
''Ok my begum if i am the devil then let me show what a devil can do''said Jalal with a evil smile and Jodha got alert and she got up and was about to ran away from the bed but Jalal got her but her waist and pulled her closer to him and she landed on his chest with a THUD .
''Jalal leave me what are u doing?''asked Jodha nervously while Jalal kept looking at her with a naughty expression
''Just showing what is the real meaning of devil''said Jalal in a husky tone then he started kissing her neck making Jodha shiver by his touch.Jodha held his top tightly on his back and bend her neck to give him more access and Jalal started to kiss with more passion seeing her response .Jalal slowly removed her pallu and untied her dori sliding her blouse to one side and he continued his kisses.Jodha stered to moan his name and this made Jalal to go wild and he took Jodha in his arms and placed her on the bed and removed her pallu copletely and continued his kisses passionately .Jodha felt like she was in heaven feeling his touch .Jalal finally cupped his face and was about to kiss her when the knocking sound of his door diturbed them.Jalal stood up from the bed getting irritated .
''The whole palace is on a goal to disturb my romance''said Jalal with an irritated face and Jodha too got up from the bed laughing and adjusted her dress and ran towards washroom and Jalal ordered to sent the person in and Miraz and Bairam khan entered the room with a tensed expression.
''Khan baba ,Miraz is everything alright ?why are u both looking tensed ''asked Jalal .
''Jalal we got the attackers alive and the leader of the group are also in our coustody ''said Bairam khan and Jalal body got tensed immediately.
