She has shattered due to faiths loss..

Half of the responsibility for this loss was unfortunately hers too

Jodha is that begum of jalal who's neither a relative nor a friend of his...she's just a wife brought by him on entirely his wish..by an alliance..reasons can be many.

So whom else other than Jalal is she expected to recognise?

She comes from a different value system where there's no divorce or remarriage so all her existence after marriage clung to jalal...she has no other life.

That's why hameeda, rahim or anybody else fails to have that effect. ..which Jalal has on her.

So she is afraid what if it happens again..?

Earlier she used to take it all with a pinch of salt...but she's extra sensitive now as she's in love.

So to set the ball rolling Jodha when she comes to Agra she has to come with a positive mindset to start things afresh. ..

And Jalal should also instead of seeing a teary Jalal I want a regal emperor giving his favourite and the only beloved lavish treatment before all..not in material but in every sense that she is very special to him and his life.

Although from her behaviour, she's hiding behind the pride disguise. It doesn't fool me or move me for a minute. And I also agree that Jalal needs to drop this Majnu avatar. First problem with them is communication gap...they hav time to communicate about politics,harem matters,family members,tasneem,awaam ..but they dont have time to sit and discuss about thr life and impotance of eachother ...

There is something new that I have learnt since I started watching this show...The CVs are more unpredictable than every other show I have ever watched...though friends warned me that this is how most hindi shows are...I have realized that it is best not to jump to conclusions and start analyzing a character based on 2-3 episodes...instead pay attention to consistent traits before doing a character analysis. Agree with Liz and her yo yo response statement. One day we see Jodha's indifference and spend a lot of time and energy blaming her for hurting Jalal...a few episodes later, they will explain her POV and we'll feel like...not again!!!😕

Ideally it is best to analyze a character after the track is over...but then that takes away the fun of daily discussions.😆 So let us continue having fun.😃

At least in a serial, we can think of analyzing a character after a track is over. what abt real life? there are no distinct tracks and we keep on analyzing everyone on their day to day behavior alone. so nothing wrong if we do the same with reel characters too 😆

I've seen bits and pieces of HB/MV epi and will watch MA pardafaash epi tonite...I feel really bad for Jalal at the moment because he has to go through another very painful experience...MA betrayal.

Like most people on the forum, my first reaction to Jodha's rude behavior in Amer was...please, you can do it politely. But his immediate reaction after hearing her refusal is also something that gives us a glimpse into how he sees everything. I hate seeing either Jodha or Jalal in pain but feel that a little bit of separation( few days) may not be so bad for now. Of course I don't have a crystal ball to be absolutely sure of how CVs will show it but generally speaking premature make up without going through the complete process of introspection has a high failure rate. Going back to your partner just because you miss them or feel guilty about your behavior or can't bear the thought of him/her feeling sad in your absence sounds very romantic...I love him/her more than I love myself...Does it work?...In most cases NO...not for very long...and I can confidently talk only about 21st century (though most human emotions are not dictated by time)...I am not talking about a prolonged separation here so please don't come after me for my audacity...in fact, prolonged separation can be worse as you gradually learn to live without your partner...I am talking about a short one. In the long run, it will be good for both of them. 😊

My own experience tells me you are absolutely bang on target. I wish I had met you earlier. I could get free marriage counselling and psycho help. 😉

We are all eagerly waiting for Salim's arrival...aren't we? So let us give Abbu-ammi some time to learn a lesson from this painful experience. Most people do not spend a lot of time introspecting during their honeymoon phase( once Jodha is in Agra, it will take superhuman efforts to avoid that).

On a more serious note, am I glad there is no Salim on the cards yet. Because these issues have to be sorted first before children arrive on the scene. Later on, it becomes even more messy for the adults and a traumatic experience for the poor kiddo.

I am not suggesting who is right or who is wrong here. But they both need to come out of this self pity phase first. Sooner the better.

I want them to seek an appointment with you and I'm ready to foot the bill. But we need them to get back to their senses asap. Then only both their suffering and our suffering will come to an end. 😆

CVs can of course force the issue by having dramatic goings on in Agra that shake the foundations and allow Jodha to return ... but ... when she has so vehemently closed all emotional doors, ... is there going to be an equally strident declaration of love and full on love confession?
