So maina is unaware abt Jallu pointing on Jo char twice n many harsh words to her so only she is thinking it's her hurt pride but for me shocking is Jallu gurror word bcz he knows evrythng wat happend bye them n stil he told that word... Atleast Jo shud hv shared her pain with maina wat all she is struggling with in herself whether it may b his words then maina atleast knows the reason for Jo hurt n try to heal her... Unfortunately Jo dint say anything to her mom n just kept with in herself...
There r atleast four reasons y I want Jo to b in Agra
1) lik u said Jal n Jo r totally heartbroken n lifeless without each other... Me being selfish wants to see akdha in one frame as I can't see long separation track thogh I know circumstances dint change n were lik before...
2) Jallu is already broken n in pain and added to it today his big mommy truth wil b out wer his heart gets one more crack... So I felt jo is the medicine for him at this point as she is the only person who he can lend shoulder on..
3) by Thursday Maham powers wil b taken back I want my dear Jo to present for that auspicious occasion as Maham is the one who created hell in Jo' s life..
4) I stil believe it's Jo hurt not anyother and she alrdy misses him ... Lastly if Jo wud b able to overcome her hurt it's just she needs Jallu reassurance abt trust and his companion ship commitment with her for the rest of his life... So it's not possible if she stays In amer... I actually expected Jallu assuring her abt all these nevertheless Jo can go to Agra n shud ask him abt commitment n assurance from him... More than just words of assurance I feel happy if his words justify his actions in future...

Hi (I don't know ur name and ur title is too long 😃 )

@ bold: Best reason. This is what I have been writing for past few days. Jalal can't do anything in Amer. Jo has to go to Agra where he can show her his commitment and respect to her. She has to overcome her fears for an uncertain future and her yearning for Jalal will make her do this easily. Maddy said that Jalal is not thinking of reassuring her of a secure future with him because he cannot even imagine a future without her. So he cannot even think that she may have such fears and he needs to reassure her. He probably feels that once she returns to him, he will never give her any reason to leave him again.

Thanks for posting such a beautiful reply. 😃

Hi Medha,

Thank you dear, for posting such a long, rambling response. 🤗

Just GO BACK TO JALAL NOW - JODHA we can't bear to see you both in pain.

As for trust - they have to work on it and they can only show it to each other when they are together 😃

Is this the same Maddy who was so mad at Jalal not so long ago? 😆 Now Medha, you are so keen to see them together. But you are right, about the second sentence above. Like I said earlier, faith is an evolution, and they have to work on it together, not separately.

My dear Kaana,

good to hear from you!

The fact that Jodha has refused to return by itself is a good message to Jalal. He will not take her for granted anymore. He will value her self-esteem and he will be more careful. Also, the current behaviour will also indicate how strong is her loyalty for him - meaning, she could not even bear to hear such an accusation, which she can never ever be able to do. MA track now, will also leave a lot of learning for him and reinforcing his trust for Jodha. He will also be able to relate to Jodha's pain better, as now he understands better what she has been subjected to.

Well said! Fully agree. But I think, Kaana, it works both ways. I think Jodha will also learn that even Jalal who loves her so much has his limits. She cannot pull the relation so much that he gets frustrated and backs out. And she will also learn how MA had manipulated Jalal and tried to separate them. So some of her anger towards Jalal should reduce.

Reason why I'm mentioning this is to balance the discussion between J and J. 😆
Regarding Jodha, I think it is very kind of on track. She stood by her self-esteem conveying what she wanted to. Her emotions regarding the accusation holds. Just that her approach is changing. So, by the passing of time, she is changing. The time recommended for jodha is to understand her own feelings for Jalal, and realise that she cannot live without him. Which is what is essentially happening now.
If we look at Jodha closely from the time she left Agra:
Letter : Hurt and parted ways, she also could not have continued at Agra anyway when her love is questioned - it is not just trust, but he very love for him. Remember after boat incident, she said "I feel bad if my love is disrespected" even for a situation as that. (I read in some post that she continued after FP track, but that time she was not in love with Jalal and it makes a big diff on who accuses you)

Anyway in FP track, she was suspecting that Jalal had taken advantage of her when she was unconscious. When he accused her, she thought he was shifting the blame on her to appear innocent. Later both came to know the truth and everything settled well. Here the situation is different.

Mathura 1: Hurt mode, but could not forget him. Trying to forget him and settle in her new life.
Mathura 2 (separated to highlight the change): When she realised that Jalal was coming in search of her, she did not want it as she could not have returned with him. Hurt before love was her state.
Mathura 3: Love for Jalal overflowing and care continued. But still, hurt preceded her love for him. So, when Jalal begged her to leave and though her heart was pining for him she could not forgive him still. She requested him to leave her alone and not return for her. She was clear in her decision to be away from him.
Amer: Proximity brought all the feelings back with force. She could hear her heart pounding for him and she could not ignore it now. Her helplessness translates into anger. She is unwilling to accept to herself that she could forgive him for what he has done and on the caution always to maintain it. She even tried doing things to prove herself as unforgiving. She tried avoiding situations which could weaken her - avoiding proximity, eye contact etc. with Jalal. It is not that Jalal's repentance has not touched her, it very much has, but she still wants to stand by her self-esteem and convey the message clearly. It is a tough stand for her also.

@bold: well put. you have explained situation in Amer excellently. which should clear the minds of quite a few of us.😊 sometimes when we take a very public stand against something, then it becomes very difficult for us to get down from that stand even if we want to because we feel it would be too embarrassing. Something like this is happening here. When Jalal was in Amer, Jo was clutching at any excuse to care for him but could not bring herself to admit this openly. She has been pretty vocal about her hatred and indifference to him. Even before all this happened, she found it difficult to admit her feelings for him openly. And there's a spoiler that says when she goes back t oAgra, she will still continue to refuse to admit why she returned.

When I was writing this, today's episode came and I saw that Jodha has forgotten her hurt and anger. Time seems to have healed her wounds. All negative emotions have drained from her heart's sieve and only love remains. Yet she is desperately trying to hold onto her non-existent anger and justify her action to both Shehnaz and Shaguni Bai.

But she was softening by the day, she was loosing her own fight to remain intact. She took up his side and blamed the circumstance for his behaviour, who otherwise was a very nice person.
Even though she said a clear NO to him to return to Agra, where even HB and Rahim sentiment failed, if we noticed she said she will come when she wants to. Isn't this a big transformation since the time she left Agra, through her Mathura days and later Amer days?
One realises the importance of something only on its loss. All the while, though was refusing and exhibiting her anger, she was sure of one thing that Jalal was still always there for her. But today, when he moved away from her, it was the biggest shock of her life - that she has lost something very dear to her.
Now, the emotion of loosing something precious and to win it back, and this desperation, will take precedence over her other emotions that was in the fore all these days. It is like now or never and obviously, she would not want to loose it for good. And she would be willing to let go anything for this sake. She is now under the grip of emotions. And we all know how one behaves when under the grip of it.
Regarding Jalal, he was in a state of guilt and despair all these days, hoping against all odds to get her back. With the final NO from her, he now became lifeless, drained totally off everything.
To answer your Q on winning Jodha's trust back, currently emotions are playing big. But once this phase is through, the trust buidling phase will definitely kick off. I am not sure if it would work in the long run with Jodha going back to him emotionally. Her very concern needs to be addressed sometime and am sure this will happen too.

I am sure that Jalal having come so close to losing her and realizing that she was never at fault and it was MA who had continually plotted against her, will take all possible steps to make sure she never has any reason to leave him ever again. They had already started trusting each other. They had drifted apart because of MA. Once MA is banished, they can breathe easier. And develop the trust further.

I don't think Jo is going back in an emotional state. She is analyzing her feelings with Shehnaz and Shaguni Bai and herself. Only when she is convinced in her mind will she take the decision to go to Agra. There she will find Jalal broken by MA's betrayal. And there's nothing like a crisis to bring a couple together. 😊
Hope it helps.

Definitely, it helped me a lot and I'm sure it has helped many others who have read it. 😊 Thanks so much!!!

There are two ways for someone to travel through the pathways of life.

Either, you take the paths and turns which feel right / good for whatever reason, and you end up wherever they take you.

Or, you are committed to the vision of an end goal and you choose from among only those paths and turns which will take you there.

When a big event happens, it dominates our thoughts and feelings. Earlier, Jodha as well as we here felt that the most important thing was to protect Jodha's self-respect. Let the other pieces fall where they may.

That's why Jodha instinctively chose a path to protect her self-respect vis a vis Jalal, Agra, her mother, and Amer. Many of us supported her. Jalal too, especially with the guilt of his words as well as the burden of his love, behaved similarly. For example, he chose to wander as a commoner without major army support, not because this was the best way of finding Jodha, but because this is what Jodha would like. She was the wronged one and her needs and wishes came first.

For what it's worth, the consequences could have included Jodha getting kidnapped, raped, and killed; Jalal getting killed; an invasion or coup dethroning Jalal; Ruq, Salima and many other begums being forced to commit suicide; etc. Neither Jodha, nor Jalal, nor we here would have liked any of that to happen if we had paused to think about it. But that's precisely the point: we were unable to factor in such considerations and allow them to guide us.

However, what is all-consuming and all-powerful to us is small potatoes for Nature, which begins to reassert itself almost immediately. (There is this story that after the nuclear blast at Hiroshima, people thought the everything was dead forever, and were surprised when plants, insects and small animals began to reclaim the land very soon.)

So that's what happened here. Now, only Jodha remains in that old state of mind. Others have moved on.

Jalal came to recognize the obvious truth that while winning back Jodha was his most important priority, it was not the only one. The Emperor in him has to deal with rest of the world, a world that has other concerns besides J&A's hurts and mohabbat. :) If his heart and soul were not ready to move on, his body and mind will have to do, but it has to be and will be done. In Amer itself, he started as a love-torn majnoo but soon transformed into The Emperor---soft and gracious, but still The Emperor. There is Agra. There is awaam. There is more, a lot more than J&A.

We too are moving out of the hole where nothing counts but Jodha's feelings---some of us have bounced out, others are crawling out. We want her to become whole, but there is more to life which will not wait, there are other not-any-lesser people whose needs cannot be ignored forever.

Even if we limit ourselves to J&A, we have recovered the broader vision of their love, life, and destiny. When we see where God has placed them, we realize how fortunate they are and some of their behavior, especially hers, seems childish and churlish, unappreciative of God's gifts. Not her first reactions, those we supported or at least understood, but her clinging on to them.

After a powerful blinding flash of lightning, it is a natural response to close one's eyes. Nobody will fault you for that. What is not natural is to keep them closed forever and insist on seeing nothing but that flash of lightning. Jalal and we the viewers may still feel a little dazed, but we have opened our eyes, rubbed them a little, regained some of our balance, and are trying to walk. Jodha is still sitting there with her eyes closed. That's all.

Wow! AKT.JA (do u have any other name?) - 👏👏👏 I was half-asleep reading responses but ur post woke me up in a flash and i scrolled back to see who had written this fab post! u have captured the situation in a nutshell and given a terrific insight into the shell to all of us here.

Thanks for posting this gem. It can stand alone as a thread, u know 😃

I agree both are suffering...but didn't they both commit there share of mistakes...❓
"EVERY HUMAN COMMIT MISTAKES AND GET THEIR DUE SHARE OF PUNISHMENT"...

I guess we are acting so fickle minded bcoz sometimes we are swayed by jalal's emotions or other times by jodha's position..😃
since both are close to our hearts..."indeed heart is a strange thing"..!!!

I believe both are somewhat struck at their point of view..and both of them are partially correct..leading us mutually agreeing at their point of views...
let time take it course..and with correct guidance of their mother...they would hopefully soon be together...😃
ps.. i hope i satisfied somebits of your confusion...😊

yes, u did help Nini! Thanks so much! 😊

And if and when they do meet in between, during jashns and weddings that Jodha will be courteous. I don't see how being polite takes anything away from her stand of being hurt. Hurt people can still be polite, if they have the higher goal of moving on and being dignified.

Let her stay in Amer for another month, it wouldn't change anything. Let her come hurrying back to Agra, it won't change anything. Not unless the persons involved change their attitudes. Changed circumstances and locations are not going to affect this 'problem', because Jodha has made this 'problem' a huge insurmountable one on her side for now. She's waiting for the right 'time'. I have no idea what that right moment is in her mind. Maybe it's an open ended wait. Either way - if no lives are in physical danger, then she can relax, compose herself and resolve to at least speak to the Shehenshah with courtesy. No one is asking her to rush into his arms. So let's see if her mother's words have some effect.

Hi Padbear,

Agree with bold points. i do believe that after meeting Shaguni Bai tmrw, Jo will be convinced to go back.

thanks for posting such a no-nonsense reply. I love such responses. 😃👏

I want Jodha to be present during Maham exposure, I want her to witness what she did to her and what role she played to instigate Jalal..I know she will not be there.
Jalal is already broken..tonight he will be more broken..at this point of time he needs his love the most..so my earnest request to Jodha to run to her hsuband and give him the shoulder to cry his heart out, in fact both to cry and release the pain..they need to be together..
regarding trust, they must be together to build it...duur rehke it won't help.

Hi Tamy,

Every word you say makes sense. I couldn't watch Jalal when he told MA she had lost her son. How much more misery can he take and will have to take?

Jo will get the push she needs from Shehnaz and Shaguni Bai (to go to Jalal).

@bold: absolutely true

thanks, Tamy! u have clear-cut thinking. No confusion at all in ur mind abt what u want 👍🏼

Hey Radhika,
Firstly, thanks for your lovely words...and kudos for this one...coz the emotional seesaw is exactly what Scribs want...
I still don't want her to rush back to Agra...instead,I want her to chew and process on what her mother said to her...so that she is clear in her thoughts about her future with him when she returns..
What he did to her is inexcusable...his action and her reaction ( I absolutely love Isaac Newton).. are both head first leaps...they both react to each other at such a primitive, reflex level...as characters ie...precisely bcoz of this primitive, reflex attraction and the subsequent instinctive resistance ...that is offered by one and all to such a strong pull..( we have all been thru it)...
her reactions are absolutely justified...but in the days that came to pass...status/post...the words of her mother...that this was a time to be pragmatic...also hold true...
He, also,on other other side, needs space away from her..and thanx to his mother..needs time to ruminate on her words..about his quick gun actions...and then the ceaseless regret...he has to be able to sift and put aside his emotions...as he has done on many occasions past...and think as Imperio...
He is after all the law ... And the law sees no kith or kin...sadly..
Yesterday felt as if ...the seeds of the Great Man's thought process were beginning to seriously germinate...they keep going into dormancy...thanx to the Scribs...and what was also interesting is to see how SHE will..in the future...form a big part of his frame of reference..for his outlook on life...
I loved the epi yesterday...maybe a minority of 1...but so be it..
It was like seeing a lump of clay..begin to take a beautiful shape...now only if the Scribs don't throw a TRP hammer onto said wheel...

Hi Liz,

Am so happy to see u read and liked my post! thank you!

i agree with u. they need the separation to realize where they went wrong and how much they need each other. some skeletons will also tumble out of the cupboard in the meanwhile, leading to the Imperio banishing Big Mommy.

i think very soon, we will see 2 sorted individuals getting together in the true sense of marriage. Btw, I also loved the episode yesterday and today too. Today was too sad. Just couldn't bear to see Jalal as MA raved and ranted in a bid to pressurize him but he refused to kowtow to her this time!

Radhika...Another awesome post.👏 There is something new that I have learnt since I started watching this show...The CVs are more unpredictable than every other show I have ever watched...though friends warned me that this is how most hindi shows are...I have realized that it is best not to jump to conclusions and start analyzing a character based on 2-3 episodes...instead pay attention to consistent traits before doing a character analysis. Agree with Liz and her yo yo response statement. One day we see Jodha's indifference and spend a lot of time and energy blaming her for hurting Jalal...a few episodes later, they will explain her POV and we'll feel like...not again!!!😕
Ideally it is best to analyze a character after the track is over...but then that takes away the fun of daily discussions.😆 So let us continue having fun.😃
I've seen bits and pieces of HB/MV epi and will watch MA pardafaash epi tonite...I feel really bad for Jalal at the moment because he has to go through another very painful experience...MA betrayal. Like most people on the forum, my first reaction to Jodha's rude behavior in Amer was...please, you can do it politely. But his immediate reaction after hearing her refusal is also something that gives us a glimpse into how he sees everything. I hate seeing either Jodha or Jalal in pain but feel that a little bit of separation( few days) may not be so bad for now. Of course I don't have a crystal ball to be absolutely sure of how CVs will show it but generally speaking premature make up without going through the complete process of introspection has a high failure rate. Going back to your partner just because you miss them or feel guilty about your behavior or can't bear the thought of him/her feeling sad in your absence sounds very romantic...I love him/her more than I love myself...Does it work?...In most cases NO...not for very long...and I can confidently talk only about 21st century (though most human emotions are not dictated by time)...I am not talking about a prolonged separation here so please don't come after me for my audacity...in fact, prolonged separation can be worse as you gradually learn to live without your partner...I am talking about a short one. In the long run, it will be good for both of them. 😊 We are all eagerly waiting for Salim's arrival...aren't we? So let us give Abbu-ammi some time to learn a lesson from this painful experience. Most people do not spend a lot of time introspecting during their honeymoon phase( once Jodha is in Agra, it will take superhuman efforts to avoid that). I am not suggesting who is right or who is wrong here. But they both need to come out of this self pity phase first. Sooner the better.
