Maybe he thought

Even if she had died after vishpan she would have extracted her revenge. His feeling of guilt would have killed him and she knew him enough to be assured so. She had come to shatter his heart that he had preciously kept safe from others and her death would have shattered him anyway. If she came back it was to renew her old liaisons with her erstwhile love.

Mathura track - there is a new entry - a mysterious spiritual lady at Mathura with whom there are photos of jo in kajiri like costumes.

maybe she runs to Amer (if at all its possible for her) then realises that she cannot enter there, then detour to the nearest jungle??
Or, the other way around. She runs into the jungle. Harrases nirdosh pashu pakshi, which in turn give up being nirdosh and then try to put an end to her. So she runs to Amer with a good number of not-so-nirdosh animal sena behind her?
This is JA...anything is possible

Both a jungle track and an Amer track? How? The Amerites will not take her back as a parityakta, so how can she go to Amer? And what of Sujamal?

That, my dear Sam, was a far snappier and cleverer response than any I could have thought up , and it is spot on too! In my last thread on Episode 200, I could never find anything that needed to be responded to in those 100+ pages, and in the end, I could not find even my own brief comments on the in between episodes either!

Jeevitha my dear, thank you so much. I admire you kids for lasting thru all 7 pages of this post and still having the stamina to comment on it, and so warmly too! I think I would have done it in any case, for one could not have missed out on such an unbelievably magnificent performance, but I did hesitate, feeling that I might be OTT in my take on it. In the end, all my young friends here pushed me into it, and now I am very happy that I did it after all.

As for Jodha, my take on her is in the section Unbearable Silence. Even if she was shortchanged by the CVs, Paridhi could have tried harder to rise above the script and made her presence felt even in front of a Rajat going full throttle.

Sorry to pre-empt Aunty's reply. But Aunty is very much in the forum. Only she gets lost in her own threads. 😆
Sorry again dear. But just couldn't resist replying to this. 😉

lovely post aunty...great to have u back and very happy that u have been pulled back by a fab performance by RT and my god what a rocking performance...i allmost felt like he was screaming in my living room...and i really wish our jodha rani who is famously known for her hour long bhashan had no words to help herself out of such a situation but then we all know when they put logic then you cannot have drama in the serial and then no drama equals no trps...so as u keep telling us all we sld just learn to enjoy the show as it is and expect all logic out of the window.may be for logic+romance we should watch some english serial like castle...great to c u in the forum and hope RT keeps pulling u back to the forum with his spellbounding performance.👏

Oh, Anne, you are one wicked girl If I expire of laughing, it will be entirely your fault. The end scenario is so tempting! I had actually thought of Mohan's relatives slotting her for dinner, but this is even better.😉

Ok, that might pass muster, though that would be more like a suicide bomber than a contract heart-breaker!

Well, I am looking forward to Mathura; anything to get away from Agra ka pagalkhana. Maybe Jodha makes it hotfoot to Mathura and Jalal follows her there? That would be MUCH nicer than the promo.

I don't deny that jo has many positive traits in her - her forthrightness her penchant for truth her humanism her hunars her radiating love for those around her ( except jalal till recently) and of course most importantly her complete lack of arrogance. Certainly the company of such a person can influence you positively. But jalal was no haivaan who turned into an insaan ONLY because of her. In fact I personally find his character more admirable and complete.

If the Cvs allow her some sensitivity and practical wisdom she might have well turned into one of the finest and admirable character ever...another Elizabeth Bennett, even better. But they have reduced her to a moral science teacher hell bent on adding halos around her pretty head.

We are not giving you undeserved praise. An artist is only worth as much as the acknowledgement that his art garners him/her. It's a crime not to give praise when it is rightly deserved.

(not that he never felt for those below him)
-Jalal called his begum-e-khaas Ruqaiya to be questioned in court - such was his sence of justice
even before he married Jodha
-Jalal cared for his awaam, his riyaya before he married Jodha - he set out to Malwa to punish
AK who was treating his people badly.
- Jalal cried for the young Hindu boy and set his parents free -such was his compassion even
before Jodha began to have any influence on him.
- Jalal was one of those just and sensitive kings who had the greatness to reach out to Moti before
her death sentence to personally question her if she was innocent - this too was before Jodha
began to affect him.
-Jalal was one of those rarest kings who declared that he would rejoice even if his child was a girl,
even before Jodha began to affect him.
-Jalal can appreciate whatever is good, thank heartily and apologise whenever he is wrong in all
humility - things which Jodha is NEVER shown to do - so there is no way that he learned
these from her.

There is no instance in the entire serial so far where I have seen Jalal reforming his ways that were earlier bad, because of Jodha. Please tell me if there is any.

Most certainly he was not heartless. He only declared so as a mask to hide himself from possible heartbreaks - a fear ingrained into him due to a rough childhood where he yearned for his mother. No man who is heartless can weep for a dead ataliq with so much misery. No cruel man could value loyalty as much as jalal did even before this highly haloed lady came into his life.
The only thing Jodha has achieved is win his love for herself, which no other girl had managed so far. Good for her alone.
Whatever the CVs try to proclaim in words and redundant dialogues, this is the ultimate impression and truth that the serial subtley conveys. 😉

Really well said Sandhya! To be honest, Jalal seemed to be a stronger ruler before 😆

The only thing Jodha technically taught him on this show was to put on a disguise and meet his awaam ... But he was already a master of disguises as witnessed by his Amer trips and dressing up as a beggar to find the culprit in Ruqs MC. So, it was to use his disguises for other purposes not reforming something about him that was bad. In reality, I am not sure if Jodha was the one who taught Jalal this.

Other than that, you are right, Jodha has only won his heart and good for her!

@Sandhya - VERY WELL DONE, my dear. Pointed out al points that a large number of people either failed to see, refuse to see, to absorbed in female chauvinistic to notice.

@ Lashy - it's so frustrating isn't it? The one way street thing? How things are highlighted only one person?

Its not like I or most of us have anything personal against Jodha. If anything, I truly feel sorry for her at times, like when she drank poison, and had to hold that cartwheel out of the way before she could do that. How difficult life is for her, na?

But the things that Sandhya has highlighted are the things that makes Jalal who he is. Jodha only highlighted certain things for him. He cannot be changed if he was not the type of person who wants improvements of what is best for his subjects. She merely, to me used what was already there to achieve the end result. Not that she created or molded it from scratch

They keep saying that he is heartless, cruel etc. But all that he has achieved i.e the vast kingdom was initially achieved by this traits. If he was like jodha who will find every one a nirdosh and everything as forgivable, he would have ended up another Sujamal. His crude ways, anger, unforgiving ways, ruthlessness is what gained him the power, that she happily used to execute her pet projects.

She didn't make him an insaan. He was already that. He just did not show it because at that point, it would have been a weakness, a crack in his defense and expanding territories cannot be achieved thus. She merely showed him that he could now, that he has conquered the power, he can be merciful, caring and loving openly. She made him realize that he is powerful enough - that he doesn't need to only crush, but he can build and still remain sovereign.

She did good, not that I deny. But she doesn't deserve all the praises such that it appears all was due to her.

Well said Sandy... she has opened his eyes to some aspects of administration/politics/governance/humanity etc...
BUT,
What of the instances where he's opened hers..
What of the instances where others have opened his eyes ...
And what of the instances where his eyes were already open enough before she came in..
No proper highlight or mention of these ^^^

As Divya mentioned elsewhere, this is what irks me in the portrayal of their relationship - its always a one-way street!
