How delightful to have you back here again! I am very pleased that you liked this one so much; it took a lot out of me, mainly the 5 repeat viewings of the 12 minute segment, and then wondering how it was going to come out. At times, I really do not know till I have arrived at the end!
Your comments @blue are remarkably perceptive and accurate, but then you were always one clever (and argumentative, very persuasively so, I still remember our exchanges about Jodha's courage very early on) young lady! I used to say that Jalal is the lover, who does the loving, and Jodha is the beloved, who is loved, but your formulation makes it all much more comprehensible.
No, she cannot understand the storms inside his oceanic personality, how can a little clear brook comprehend the fury of a tsunami? But I have one little doubt: would a man who loves so deeply and totally, be satisfied, in the long term, with just placid affection?

PS: I am glad you like my picture. Thanks to you, I now know what a dp is!

What a beautiful piece of lovely writing , Shyamala di. I totally agree with each word you say. You're right , may be things are happening too fast for Jo to clearly think it over in her head , plus she just doesn't understand what Jalal is going through . I've always believed that Jodha's love for Jalal could never match with Jalal's. She loves her calmly , naturally , like we do eating n breathing , it is almost habitual. I've my doubt whether she even understands what betrayal can do to a man.
But Jalal has fallen for her in a kind of surrender , after fighting with his inner demons a lot, despite himself , so to speak. The depth n passion of that kind of love is completely of a different tone n tempo, compared to Jodha.I really don't know what she was really thinking to keep her mouth shut even at this point , as ,even if she puts her beloved brother ahead of her husband this time, which she in fact does, how the hell can he be saved , as far as she knew , from the death that is coming for him, as grimly promised by Jalal as a grim reaper ??On a funny note, I think, if Jalal was emotionally some what less exuberant than he was in his torment, Jo would've understood to some extent what was happening inside him. Jalal in is full emotional glory just flies far above her head, n she just couldn't wrap her head around some thing so much so big..Ohh , most important thing, your new display pic is beautiful. You're a beautiful lady, inside out.Take care auntie. 🤗
