Well, the new promo did not bring any new news and the last promo was sooo misleading that I am going to see it to believe it. In any case, we know that Jodha-Jalal will win the war in the end ... MA can only win little battles for a night or two. So, cheer up! 😊

I thought we had a lot of fun for my 1000th post celebrating Akdha moments so I thought let me try to do something fun for my 2000th post- though it is not a milestone on India Forums.
So, the theme of the party is "favorite firsts" for Akdha- so the first time our favorite jodi of Jodha-Jalal did something you found special- the first time they fought, argued, took aarti, went to the mandir, anything! Just has to be a first.
So, here are my favorite firsts and if you take a look you might recognize a theme. 😉
(1) First night in the tent: This scene was sheer magic ... An angry Jalal walks into the tent to see his new bride for the first time after their wedding . .. He is mesmerized to see a sleeping Jodha. He stealthily walks towards her as she wakes up sensing him ... She takes the dagger ... He recognizes her move and holds the dagger with his bear hands... He throws the dagger and peers down into Jodha's face in the height of physical tension . . . He loves the fear in her face but yet promises to protect her from everyone but himself.
Shraddha, you owe us your take of this scene. I am asking 1,000 posts later. Now that part 27 of your FF is done, focus on this- just kidding, partially. 😊

(2) First night in Agra: Tamy and I realized this couple has had more than one first night after the wedding as we got confused which one we were referring to . Well, what a nice problem to have right 😉

Anyways, this was the first time we see a drunk and angry Jalal combination- what intensity and passion he showed. After an angry tirade, I still remember the way his eyes soften when he lifts her veil and sees her face ... His tohfa... He is about to come down for a kiss. She moves her face away and Jalal cannot stand the rejection ... He gives her a dhakka (how many dhakkas will this jodi give each other) As she loses her footing, he jumps (some even referred to this as Tarzan like) and pins her to the wall ... Getting the closest to Jodha that we have ever scene and when he asked her "aap humse kaise dhoor rehsakthi hein" , uff kya intensity thi in Jalal's eyes.
Hmmm...that's my thing... here he's angry...insulting her...pinning her against the wall..terrorizing her.. is drunk etc.. yet, 99% percent of the forum celebrate this as the MOST PASSIONATE scene between them ever!
I guess that was before he said he trusted and his soul said he loved her. I think some people are mad that he listens to MA and does this but even in this case he had been riled up by Ruqs.
With the latest promo - while its not romantic per se - it still does happen in a moment of fury and what is that fury for - because, he loves her so insanely that he CANNOT overcome the sight of her with another man.
Though he knows her inherent goodness, he is so possessive that his heart is starting to overrule his mind
He wants to hurt her, but he cannot so he shoves her away on the couch.
He wants her to leave so he doesn't hurt her in anger
Yes, in reality none will support all this.. but in reality none will support a drunk husband pinning his wife on first night either, right?🤔
Yes, agreed- but I think the sentiment is after all this we are back to square one. But, this time it is not because of hurt and love - love how you described it!
This is drama yaar.. and to generate intensity, extreme longing from a raging man and a going-weak-in-her-knees-girl is part and parcel of the entertainment industry for eons.. so take all this as part of their buildup to passion and stop worrying so much about dissecting it into the domestic violence aspect, I'd say
On the bounce-back the making-up will be just as tender!
Anyway, once these two become a standard couple all such scenes will disappear and everything will go back to harem harem harem.. so sit at the edge of the seat and take it as a thrill ride between two stubborn lovers!
If such scenes do affect you, then all I can say is strong romances are not your cup of tea...because, unfortunately this is std formula of many love stories anyway 😕
I am game for it ... Because I know the rebound will be equally intense!
She tried stopping him three different ways: a curtain, a veil, and a warning that he is not doing right. All three didn't work. Only his ego stopped him, he says he won't make her important by touching her. How that became a promise that Jalal made to not touch her till she wants ... Only the CVs know! 😆
(3) First night in a tent together: En route to Ajmer Sharif ... She was miffed at Jalal as always ... Jalal was at his supportive best after her suicide. Circumstances and safety had Jalal join Jodha in his tent to her disdain.
She tried to ignore him but could not . . .
He was in full witty form. . . If she could not sleep with his presence as a stranger in the room, he was more than willing to sleep and let her stay away on guard ...
He was worried for her safety every second ... From when she was missing to the bed ... To the first nirdosh pashu's entrant in their life: Mann Mohini the snake. This was a revelation to Jodha.
After assuring her it was the snake and not him that tried to touch her ... He was able to drag a smile out of Jodha. He would have never believed it then- but haseen to phasee, eventually! 😃
I loved it...
(4) First night that Jodha shared a bed with Jalal: En route to Amer and on the instructions of her dear mother-in-law, Jodha insisted she would stay in the same tent as Jalal. Jalal, for a change, liked her orders. He offered the bed but she tried to be accommodating and took the chair, a reverse of their arrangements en route to Ajmer Sharif. Our teda Jalal very smartly reminded her of how he could not save her from animals that way and how he was tired of saving her life (we believe you Jalal ) Jodha is convinced ... Moves over to the bed. Jalal teases her by shutting off the lights but that's about it ...
I will never forgive the CVs for showing the next scene to be the next morning ... But it was a cute scene nonetheless and showed Jodha showing one more step of trust although it didn't last long in the next tent scene. And I always wondered how you could sleep sitting up. Ah well, the mysterious ways of serials. 😉
I actually loved their story-telling night more than this night dear..there was more 'happiness' between the hostile couple there!
That is true ... But Jodha ended up leaving Jalal with the little girls 😆 Just kidding!
(5) First night Jalal spent in Jodha Begum's room: A big step in this story but a classic sequence that was the highlight of this past week and gave us hope that our Jodi still have potential; highlights for me:
- A drunk Jalal touching Jodha's feet ever so sweetly and being drawn so closely to her
- A Jodha who helps Jalal rest on the bed in a quasi-hug fashion
- Finally an admission from Jodha that things have changed since the dhakka
- The cup move where Jalal got oh so close to Jodha and Jodha looked right into his face without a flinch
I LOVED it... its saddening that return of passion is being marred by so much negativity in the forum (due to a variety of reasons!)
I know .. But I feel All will be well!
