And the vachan was taken in such an emotional setting. All of sudden. We should see the circumstances also.

If the ISSUE is of lying then didn't Ruqs also lied to Jalal in that murti kaand, despite being his wife for around 11 years now.?. Was a issue made there ALSO.?.
And she DID NOT express any guilt also..
I don't want to bring Ruqs here but just highlighting a fact..

AND so now he knows what she is upto.
And the problem is not losing trust.

Its about the person whom she met.he wants to know it..

Jodha had done ENOUGH TO EARN HIS TRUST.

Remember Jalal himself said in Amer track to Jodha - 'Hum kisii ko wo cheez nahi dete jiske liye usne mehnat na ki ho'.

So jodha has come a long way to earn Jalal's trust.

But i do NOT find any such MAJOR event from Ruqs side.

So i mentioned that we should consider both equally..

Whn no issue was made of Ruqs lie. I find it strange why this is done for Jodha. 😊

She did give her word in a very high emotion setting. But as the drama heightens I feel she should reconsider keeping the promise. Yes, she is a Rajvanshi who will not go back on a promise. Ben track ended in favour for her as in she saved Jalal and their bond got stronger, What if (of course with the CV's this scenario will never happen) she died, and at the same time Ben managed to kill Jalal too? For her to save him, she need to be save and well too. At the very least she doesn't have to deliberately endanger herself.

She stood rock firm that Ben is the danger even when HB doubted her. But she did confide in HB and salima. That too based on what shariffudin told her. And here her own brother is telling her that her husband is in danger, why not seek their help? She can't tell Jalal. But she can tell them, na?

To me, to have given that promise is not a problem. But to stubbornly maintain it is.

About Ruq lying. In the eyes of Jalal Ruqs and Jodha are different.

Jalal knows that Ruqs is capable of such thing, eventhough he thinks its beneath her to stoop so low, hence the reason why his view of her has reduced.

But from beginning Jalal has viewed Jodha as someone honest. In fact it is one of her hunar that really sets her solid as a queen, to me. Not to have any cunningness but honest, attack in the face attitude, like a thoroughbred warrior.

So to me it would be wrong to say that its okay for Jodha to react the same way as Ruqs. No Jodha cannot do that, because that is against her very being.

Hence it bothers me so much that she keeps mum over his repeated questions, as when it is clear he has so much of trust in her, from her side, she could offer some respect for the trust and reveal the truth to him.

He was angry with her when she told him that she met Shariffudin in jail. But he didn't punish her or condemn her, And she didn't stop those visits. Why is it so different now? Its because of the promise isnt' it?
