For your points in blue:
KDR81 has written "enough" comments.
Just one info, before Ashutosh's movie ALSO they were remembered, provided we thought of them.😊
I am giving just some PROOF to you, of her existence.
Go through these old books. All mention her.
Yes, these are called CHRONICLES..!..which are not easily accessible.
Even i have not read all of them.
1. Khalsat-i-Tawarikh, written somewhere 1597-1607. in Persian
2. Khyat of Rajasthan, around 1660's.
3. One book of history written in the court of King/ruler of Gujarat in 1601-12 . This book says Akbar's favorite wife was mother of Salim. 😆 (I am writing only for you.)
Just think, the time was 16th century, still EVEN in Gujarat people know about Akbar and MUZ😲 and mention them.DO you need a more BIG proof..??...They were VERY FAMOUS in their times if you SEARCH THE DUST of chronicles..!...
4. The FAMOUS memoirs of Colonel Tod of 19th century.(Though he used Jodha's name there.)
Sorry, these books are not published commercially.
The only point i am telling you is ONE NEEDS TO SEARCH TOO HARD.
They were very much present before Ashutosh's movie.
They are NOT Ekta's or Ashutosh's RE-creation.
(I have more references FROM CONTEMPORARY sources . But i feel these are enough..!..)
And, hence i/KDR81/Lizzy refuse to accept this clause about JA.😊
How can one deny this WITHOUT reading anything..???..😊
BTW, Even Salima Begum is NOT mentioned in these books, as MUZ is mentioned..!..
**********************************************************************************************************
For your points in red
If i get any LOVE STORY of Akbar and Salima, then i will definitely share it.😲😕
I or KDR81/Lizzy or any one i have come across DID NOT tell me this.
This is the FIRST DOUBT of this type i am reading today .
Just for info:
JA story does NOT require proofs.. Shah Jahan needed Taj Mahal for that. Not Akbar. 😊.
He got enough palaces for her..!..
Still FYI..Comparison between Salima and MUZ.. (though i don't like it.!.😊)
1. Akbar got palaces for MUZ EVERYWHERE not Salima.
2. Akbar took MUZ to dargahs MOST OF ALL times not Salima.
3. Akbar had MUZ's palaces near his palace not Salima's.
4. Akbar had a corridor connecting his Khwabgah to MUZ's palace('s') not Salima's.
5. Akbar took MUZ with him even while proceeding on a war, not Salima. (Wait for this in show.)
I don't feel i need to write more about the differences.
Respect + Understanding and Affection are different feelings.
Also, as you mentioned regarding religious policy of Akbar. Here also MUZ's name is VERY MUCH present. Though proof is not required Still, i give one:
The Oxford Encyclopedia Of Women in World History, Vol-4, Page-656, notes the name of Hk/Jodha/MUZ as an influential wife in Akbar's life, who exemplified his religious tolerance and also in shaping many POLICIES in the Mughal Empire.😊
I do not need this reference. But i am giving you, as you focus on "PROOFS".😊
He was a man of multiple tastes. He was NOT just a administrator. But more then that..!..
Also, when you will go to FS, you can very much see the pavillions there, which he got constructed there, for leisure purposes.
Ain-i-Akbari also notes some of them. Like the games of -> 'Aankh Micholi' , 'Ishq-Baazi', game of 'kabootars', 'Chaupar' , 'Pachisi' , etc.😉
**********************************************************************************************************
Finally, i end on a NOTE what KDR81 has written.
Visit Amer(East Jaipur) and Agra. For all your questions, You will get your answerS .!.
BTW, i have also loaded some of the references from 16th-17th centuries, which MANY may be READING for the FIRST TIME TODAY...😆...
Hope this clears.😊
P.S. --> This MAY help those members who feel that JA is a recent development.😊 As, references from 16th century are present here..!...
everytine you appear with your posts, you leave a smile on my face...bahut bahut shukriya dost🤗

She wont Cleo...not till she destroys herself. Well this is the story is JA afterall.
But she has always been like this. Why the sudden distance?Rukkiya along with MA almost cornered Jalal and got him married/ nearly married to Ben.Jalal himself knows that she was unaware of Ben's identity. If ben was not a vk and jo had indeed falsely accused ben, what was wrong in her egging him to marry? She was as angry with Jo for dhakka-fying jalal as he was. Her jealousy was an added factor .The Hojra issue...that was stooping very lowShe has always been so in the harem. She has been so and he knows it but has never cared so far. He happens to be hurt this time as it was his precious Jo who was hurt. Her outbursts and mishandling Jodha after boat track.Any woman would be angry after such a debacle/misunderstanding. It was not the first time queens sent messages through baandhies. Jo too sent the letter only through Moti...didn't come personally to deliver it. He had always called Ruqs Khaas till then. She was unaware of the Rahim/ Jalal/ Jo convo that morning. Her behavior during the Salim Chisti track...btw men run away from clingy women😊She has always had him to the exclusion of others. How does she know that she shouldn't now.All these years he had enjoyed the cling.Reports from begums/ baandi's about her behavior...he himself is very civil towards his staff most of the time.Didn't anyone complain all these years? Even HB?Her begum e khaas chanting...clearly it is getting on his nerves. He was the one who fanned the fireNot sure if he knows abt how she behaved with SalimaHer devious behavior during the election process.I still don't find anything devious here. So what if she wishes to know where she stands or what others think about her. It is natural, wanting to know how people perceive you, a sort of open opinion poll, to understand who is on her side. Had she won even without her vote being the decider, things were different. More people wanted her at the helm. But when she knew that an equal number wanted her out, she decided to spend her time to win Jalal back than put up with the harem. And of course, the idol issue...She broke a law and he has evidence as well as her confession...he has punished people for lesser crimes. This was 🤢 behaviour. But I am sure will be the first of its kind. Many will follow. But why doesn't Jalal try to frankly explain to his friend of 15 yrs once atleast? Not that she won't listen to him. She did in the Tasneem track...even accepted to co-operate with whatever he decides the next day when he explained his stance, even the talaq. He does take time out to express his pov to jo on different issues.Had he tried and Ruq still continued her bad behaviour then she will have no sympathies whatsoever. But now after encouraged her arrogance all these years and getting miffed about it after he has found a Jodha who is better and whom Chishti Baba has predicted would be the future MUZ, shows his friendship in bad light. 😕🤢

I have never questioned her existence or importance, you, of all people know that very well. It is just that I had never heard of their love story though being a fan of Akbar, I have read many books on him. The regular books just mentioned the names of his 3 chief consorts.Popularity, folklore and proofs differ in shade sometimes. Hence the question. Thanks for the answer. As for your question, How can one deny this WITHOUT reading anything..???..😊 how do we know...ie... the aam aadmi know where and what to read unless those who know bring it out in media? On a serious note, why don't you guys bring out an article in any of the national dailies... 'MUZ...the forgotten enigma' with these facts? It will reach out to a larger audience.
