- He abandons his political affairs meeting to rush off to rescue his Jodha Begum. Well, you will say, so what is new? But the way he let a mere baandi interrupt a Diwan--e-Khaas meeting was unbelievable. How the devil did he let her even open her mouth? Before the Shahenshah? And how ever was she given admittance? It was beyond ridiculous.

I did notice... it did bother but didn't realize until I read U R post... UR right... How dare she say so much in DWK... This should be discussed in private not in DWK even the message...

As for the genuflection in front of the Krishna idol and taking the aarti and the prasad, it is as well for him that no mullah was hiding behind the curtains. To me, it seemed this time, unlike on the previous occasion when he offers Jodha the aarti, less like a charming gesture of genuine devotion and more like an ostentatious gesture of solidarity with her.

I don't know much about history but I am a Jain and in our jain shastra it is mentioned that he was very big towards all religion and he followed Jainism for 6 month ... There was one of the jain sadhvi call Champa devi... she stayed in their palace for six month and did aaradhna... I believe he did respect all religion and bow down to all with his heart... May be I am wrong... I read this many year's back...

- In the meeting with the begums, I did not at all like the way he shouted at the begum in green. He was bullying them from the word go, and it was quite clear that it was his intention to make sure that they did not stray from supporting Jodha Begum. But he had asked them for their views, and when that poor woman started to voice her objection, he slapped her down in the most aggressive and uncivilised manner possible,. Why?

I completely agree... he should listen to everyone opinion...he cannot be biased mind again I did notice and didn't like it but realize after reading your post. He stood really low with other begums... and Ruku should be punishing for her did... It was wrong as a shenshah...👏👏👏

Coming to our Jalal, ever since last week some of the gang were worried & angry with Jalal s behaviour with Ruq seeing the progress of events. I still had some trust left in Jallu & told them to wait till the scenes play out , before we jump on Jalal. I was expecting some Ruqlal scene right after Jalal went to egg on Ruq for the election or atleast a flashback of some such scene later on where Jalal is advising Ruq about the new status quo. But alas that didnt happen & after last night s epi , I admit to being somewhat disappointed with Jalal s behaviour to Ruq too.

But on second thoughts , I have some different opinions . Most of our angst is why Jalal didnt sit it out & explain to Ruq about his changed feelings for Jodha so that she d mend her manners to Jodha. We couldn't understand why Jalal all of a sudden shouted to Ruq yday that she better behave if he s not to lose the little respect he has for her. He d never warned her or scolded her before, so what was this about , was our question.

Here are some of the instances that displeased Jalal towards Ruq & he did speak out, but he was mild that we all missed the signs. In the Tasleem issue itself Ruq shouted & ranted at Jo that she was the reason for her marriage breaking up & Jalal did hear it, but kept quiet there. But later on in her hojra , he did console her & gave her support & said she ll always be his bestie friend. But in that track later on Jallu became mute & we all know what happened later. But then Jalal tells Ruq s that Jodha was the one to save their marriage & Ruq suitably pleased went & gifted Jo too.

Jalal also tells very clearly to Ruq that now Jodha also is a friend to him & a khaas begum. That birthday very well highlighted Jodha s khaas begum padh. So now Ruq got to know Jalal s feelings & outlook on Jodha has definitely changed.

Then came the ratri kaand & the dhakka. Jalal was hurt, he was insulted & he went & confessed everything to Ruq. So Ruq along with Jalal began mistreating Jodha again with Ben , not to forget MA who presented the khaas tohfa Ben to Jalal & egged Ruq abt her too & gave the oh so genius nikah idea too to Ruq. So far it was ok bcos Jodha needed to be punished for her dhakka, so Ruq couldnt be faulted except she failed to find Ben s truth by herself.

After Jo proved that Ben was indeed a vishkanya , all were suitably contrite & prayed for her whole heartedly. So Ruq also was mellowed towards Jo for saving Jalal & she being an intelligent adult could see & understand too that Jalal s nazariya towards Jo has changed too. Which man wont be grateful or eternally think good for a life saver, Jalal was all this plus he realised his love too for Jodha, so he became totally toned down & good in his behaviour to Jodha. So here does Jalal have to sit with Ruq & explain the virtue of Jodha s deeds & his changed thinking to get Ruq to understand? No, I dont think so, Ruq is smart enough & she has a basically good heart that understands what s fair which she s showed us too in a couple of instances.

So now Ruq knows Jalal is friendly with Jodha again with no ill feelings left. Jalal clarified that the boat ride was a misunderstanding too. But Ruq s persisted in being angry & not understanding. So far , Ruq has now got the pictute that Jalal is on good terms with Jodha again, she s one of the khaas begum too & a friend. Only thing Jalal hasn't told is his love for Jodha. How can we expect him to tell that to her when it s still in unrequited state & the previous rejection is still weighing on his mind, so am with him on this.

Now coming to" bachi kuchi izzat" he used. There are some instances to explain this too if we only think back & see. Jodha s hojra change issue, Ruq behaved abominably to Jalal saying harem responsibility is totally hers & even Jalal who had given it to her couldn't question her. This was her Shohar & the Shahenshah she was talking to in this way. Jalal didnt explode on Ruq right there but managed to sort it out though Ruq knew she was behaving wrong aided & sided by MA.

Next instance, the kajri/ badal issue , that last night hojra wala insult to Jo by Ruq was noted by him but he still didn't reprimand her. We shd have got some proper closure to that scene but that didnt happen but suffice it to say Jalal noted down Ruq s behaviour.

Then the boatride & the screechfest that Ruq indulged in. Jalal did manage to prove calmly that it was no one s fault but circumstances. At that time Jalal witnessed Ruq pulling & pushing another begum, most unbecoming behaviour for a BEK. But he still kept quiet but did show his anger on his face. But Ruq s in her own insecure world failed to heed it. Then the harem issue, Jalal learnt about Ruq s bad behaviour with other begums/ baandhis & mismanagement too & her extreme arrogance to any & every one. Another minus for Ruq.

So yesterday's murti kaand was more or less like the last straw on the camel back for Jalal. That s why he said he doesnt want to lose the little respect he has for her. So tell me now, should Jalal have reprimanded Ruq at all these times openly so that she behaved better? No I d say , she well knew her bad behaviour & knows Jalal s anger too but still went on with her kaands.

So I feel that Jalal is justified in his anger yday & for not sitting & talking to Ruq too except for the love confession. The others he d already told her. But if Ruq chooses to forget Jo s help in saving Jalal s life from tiger kaand (of course Jo was the cause too), then resolving Ruq s divorce issue ( again Jo was indirect cause) & finally proving Jo s loyalty & devotion to Jalal by almost giving up her life, but Ruq wants to remember only the tiger kaand, dhakka issue, then Jalal is surely not to blame na.

I know I ve written too long & those who read it thro will want to hit me probably 😉 , but Aunty , how can we leave our boy like this, see I ve managed to give some excuses that justify his behaviour. Anyone else can add more too which I might have missed. Aakir Aunty hum minority hi humare Jalal se khafa honge toh kahan jayega bechara. His Jodhu begum is still not on finger touching terms too with him as yet, so please I request u to reconsider & give the benefit of the doubt to our Jallu.

He s a nasty Jallu when he s angry & he s showed it many a time too to Jodha, first in MC track & then Ben track & now yday same he showed to Ruq & the other 2 begums, that s all

And regarding shashtang namaskar to his love, dont worry Aunty, Rajvanshi Jodhu wont accept it 😉 , so that s one thing we wont get to see 😃 . And also our Jallu hasnt yet become the complete lovesick p****, so hope is still left I d say. And he s realised his Jo is lil dumb so he s started expounding his virtues himself, good that, I d say. If we leave it to Jo to understand him, she ll take another 16 centuries , I think

Try to read my very long rambling when u can , Aunty, but please give another chance to our Jalal, that s my humble request. Or else I might make more lengthier comments to torture ur poor eyes till u take our Jalal back into the fold 😛 😆 😆

... probably we are expecting too much from a 22 yrs old ... dont know about real history ... but I love this jalal ...yes ... he did a number of mistakes & some of them (related to jodha) are not pardonable.
