Wow, today was a blockbuster episode. I loved every minute of it and am still grinning from ear to ear 😃
Straight away, I am going to go to the top 5 as there is so much to share:
(1) First Akdha interaction: Jalal passes the trust test! Most importantly Jalal finally trusts that Jodha cannot do such an "unchi harkat". It was like music to my ears as it was for Jodha. The trust we were always looking for is finally there! 😊
- Jalal wants to talk to Jodha first about the incident and talks to her alone ... Gone are the days he publicly questions her- this is a conversation between the two of them
- Love how Jodha asked him if he thinks she could do such a thing - it shows the amount of trust she expects from him- she asked the question that was on all our minds and he passes with flying colors
- When Jalal asked her if she doubts someone, loved how Jodha answered that she can only speak for herself - I think Jalal liked her pure heart and it was a stark comparison to his interaction with Ruqs later
- Also, liked how Jalal said he would take it from there on figuring out who did it- showing he will always be there for her
- And the final touch: Jalal taking Aarti and blessings for Krishna- showing his respect for Jodha and her religious sentiments - this issue was not about religion at all
(2) How Jalal defends Jodha in front of all the begums ... With emotion and logic ... 👏
- It was amazing ! The way he cut off all begums who were trying to blame his Jodha begum and he was so angry and protective !
- But more then emotion he defended her with logic- why would she try to win the support of Hindu baandis who are the minority?
- Loved how everyone recognize how much Jalal trusted Jodha and loved Jodha's pleased smile in the end
(3) What we were all waiting for: Jalal blasts Ruqs. It was amazing ... Loved the following things 👏
- When he yelled ... Lies ... If you had thought me as a friend, husband, or king you would not have lied to me / done this ... I think it highlights how she is doing all this for audha
- I thought you would play this game fair and square ... Again highlights how Jalal wants the best begum to win
- You are not the Ruqaiyya I knew ... He stole the words of the entire forum ... Ruqs is not who she used to be
- Most importantly he asks her, what has change now? She needs to confront herself and him with what she is so bothered by. I hope they talk it out at some point.
(4) Akdha scene near the fire: how beautiful was it. 😳Here were the highlights for me:
- Jalal as always interrupting a thinking Jodha- luckily she smiled this time
- Jodha using Jalal's usual ploy when she pushed him to admit he comes to the garden to see her by asking directly- Do you come to see me? Loved how he tried to feign ignorance- it was a typical Jodha response.
- Loved the nok jhok of Jalal trying to find out what she thought of him- particularly liked how he highlighted how her thought always has a lot of depth
- Jalal recounting how he prayed for Jodha- Jodha loved every minute of hearing it
- The accidental hand touching was a good touch - I was surprised Jodha takes her hand off. Hopefully, this scene continues tomorrow - they better not just show the sunrise. 😉
(5) Jodha's brains back: For a change both the leads' brains are recovering their brains in tandem. In the first scene, luckily Jodha (or should I say Moti) realized that the murthis were part of a chaal. And in the precap, Jodha also uses her brains and recognizes its Ruqs. Let's see how this confrontation plays out- but hopefully they finish the Akdha scene first.
Shall I also cheer that Jalal is doing more admin / political work? Oh, there is so much to cheer today.
