as far Khas Begum & Begum E Khas both have alomost same meaning ''Khas begum'' means special begum & ''Begum e Khas'' means special to begum or special of begum but but '' Begum e Khas '' is a title
& as per history the harem was under Begum Rukkaiay Sultan supervision till Begum Noorjahan came

I think Rukayya is the ONLY OFFICIAL BEK and who controls the haram.

Jodha and Salima are KHAS in Jalal's eyes, due to their conduct and wisdom they earned the repect from Jalal. So Jalal started asking for and acknowleding them opinions. They are KHAS because of Jalal's faith in them.

NOT JUST WITH JALAL THEY BOTH EARNED THE RESPECT FROM OTHERS BY THEIR CONDUCT.

WHILE RUKAYYA SEEMS TO BE LOSING RESPECT DUE TO HER CONDUCT.

Rukayya has confused all this in her jealousy for Audha and power. Jalal so far HAS NOT DONE A THING to reduce Rukayya's power. It is Rukayya who is doing that with constantly asking him to reinforce this. As the ONE BEGUM of Jalal's WHO should have the most confidence in HIM since she knows him from childhood, it is Rukayya who is not displaying it.

She is clouding his growing feelings for Jodha with her Audha. MA is instigating her and Rukayya seems to have lost her brains in her insecurity. If only she listened to HB more!

Perfect Maddy...Ruku is getting more insecure by each passing day... and if Jalal can take care of it by any chance then it will be better for everybody..

Jodha did not really want to interfere, Rukayya is right in saying Jodha should not interfere in Haram but as Jodha rightly pointed out that Mazhar is not part of Haram. The Bandi asked for her help and Jodha only supported this issue needs to be solved taking all 3 opinions in account.

Sure Rukayya compares this with her relationship with Jalal and announced instant verdict

THE PROBLEM IS NOT JUST THAT, EVERYBODY KNOWS RUKAYYA DOES NOT CARE TWO HOOTS ABOUT BOTH THE BANDIS. She is not interested in them as human beings, that is the reason for discord in haram.

In Mughal case the situation is a bit different

Ideally akbar is eldest male of family so he is emperor

Eldest female of family should be incharge of house(suppose as per asian customs) that is in this case not Hamida its Humayun's eldest wife Haji begum and then another 2-3 elder begums (but they are not there here at agra) and finally Hamida Bano in that order.

But here Hamida is Malika-e-aliya(empress)

So next eldest is Gulbadan why not hand her the harem responsibilities? If Ruqaiah not doing correctly. That way no ego clashes among begums

Now i realized why mughals made their sisters, daughters as empress and incharge of harem(apart from nur jahan and mumtaz) apart from fact that they loved their sis/daughters very much its because they have so many begums all ego clashes. If sisters/daughters become empress and harem in charge no clashes(except for jahanara and roshanara case which was highly complex situation). Because usually that empress is elder sister or elder daughter and younger sisters, younger daughters will not fight with elder sis like wives do for power etc. Atleast emperor can have peace on that front and concentrate on empire work. Jalal must make Gulbadan/Bakshi Bano the incharge of harem so all these issues will be resolved once for all.
