You are absolutely right Aunty. The chemistry and talent of the two leads is a treat to watch. I would be very happy to watch the reruns if not for the stupidity they are showing.

Jodha was unbelievable yesterday. She reminds me of the characters in those saas-bahu serials who tries hard to get her siblings married into her sasuraal because she thinks they are the best. I still find it hard to believe that the same person who thought herself to be a victim of a forced marriage did not even think to ask her sister if she's interested. Goes completely against her feminism! So, Mirza Hakim said he finds Shivani beautiful. Does that mean he wants to get married to her? What is left to see is will the wedding happen? They cannot let Shivani marry someone who is not of royal blood. Yet, Jalal wouldn't want Mirza to marry Shivani without her consent because of his religion and his personal experience. Did we overlook this sort of thinking in our history books? Perhaps the writers have hels a seance and contacted Akbar himself.

Why, Oh Why is it only Maham who gets to eavesdrop? This is absolutely unfair to the rest of the ladies in the harem. I'd rather watch Maqsood Khan's green froth than this injustice.

Thank God for the small mercies.

Loved to see Shahenshah in action once again and doing administrative works as well, not just playing with his proud jungli billi(JB) :bounce: So happy. Ruqaiya's questions in the precap were waajib. Hope it would be okay to expect Jalal to have some PLAN this time (atleast) for agreeing to the wedding. I am becoming a beggar for Jalal's sense and smartness in the serial!!

Some glimpses of water seen after a long dry period. Hope it doesn't turn out to be a mirage.

Did he limp when he spoke to his courtiers in the last scene?

Aaaww. Poor Rajat.

No ben today after a long time. What a relief!

Great post aunty. I see three distinct groups here TRP aunties who just want to see masala drama that is the group writers please because they are the clear majority, second group romance lovers just want to see the leads in the same shot, third group which is the tiny minority and have no influence at all is we want to see hisorical accuracy with the flavor of romance. My problem was not benazir or lack of romance it is how this show apparently being set in the 16th century has no such flavor. There is no decorum of conduct that befits a 16th century even in houses of parliament you can't speak till you are on the speakers list but in mughal darabar any willy nilly can get up and speak no rules of conduct around the emperor, this is absolute monarchy shehenshah has absolute power but it is not shown as such when his begums are running rings around him enemies have more spies than he does even jalal is forgotten he is shehenshah where is his authority and power, and worst of all is the leads characterization and their mentalities starting with Jodha her views and actions are deplorable nothing that befits a 16th century time period and the way Jalal responds to her makes you aghast and diminishes his whole appeal as shehenshah.

ok im bit partial. actually prithvi used to call his sanyogita "jungli billi" in PRC. so lets settle for "baghin" for jodha.😊

Haven't seen PRC. Chose Jungli billi as its acronym is JB which stands for Jodha Begum as well. Well Bhaagin also means the same. Should be okay.

Unfortunately ...I'm not a regular viewer of this show ... so I missed most of the scenes that you have picked...

But ... looking at it in the general perspective ,,,, I fervently agree... Ekta knows what her viewers want and she gives it to them ,,,, ... logic & sense can take a hike !!!!!! 😆
