Seriously want Maham out but am worried coz known devils are better than unknown angels ...Don't want HM and His mom ending up worst than MA and Adham

Even I was thinking about this small convo between Jalal-Atgah but rubbished my thoughts later..but it is very much possible!!!

2.5 is Ekta's .

Ah, ok..

Abhay, besides Ruqaiyya & Saleema & of course J, was there any other queen who was dear to Akbar? Did he cherish & value any other?

I've read that the ladies were all way too progressive for their Times. And that they never did participate in wars but were actively consulted during wars?

Yes Mughal queens were all paid according to their status. But it wasn't due to only their beauty & talent 😊. Generally, it was only the position they occupied or their home state that matterered.

The princess of Mewar would ideally have got far more wealth than the princess of Amer because Amer was a tiny state! And Mewar was huge & the politically, the most powerful state in Rajputanaa.

But since Amer was completely valued by Akbar & Jodha was the MUZ her status was th highest probably & hence, so was her income. Jodha anyway was the richest lady at court that time, they say. Her shipping business flourished!!!

Tripti other than the Amer princess, the other 2 Rajput princesses Akbar married were from Jodhpur and Bikaner or Jaisalmer (dont knw which) if I am not mistaken. The Hadas in their treaty with Akbar refused to have a marital alliance and Mewar was always at war with the Mughals till Shahjahan got the treaty from them.

Abhay, a doubt 😆 I know ur inbox is already full of such questions but couldn't stop myself ...they haven't shown Atgah's children in show but I have read somewhere Mirza Koka was a very good friend of Akbar and Adham and Atgah's daughter was married to Rahim later(I'm not sure about this) 😕. Is this the same Koka (there are so many Kokas and Khans and Khan-i-Khanas so m confused)whom Salima Sultan saved from Jahangir's punishment ???.

It was Bikaner, then Dungarpur. Udaipur never did surrender.
Something very interesting that I found out in my research was this - All the Hindu women that Akbar married from Rajasthaan all made their way back to their states 😕. Only very few lived their full lives out in the Agra Fort. These marriages were only alliances that once completed on paper, didn't need to be extracted in practice.

I'v read reliably that lot of Rajput women made their ways back to ther states with the full assurance that their fathers/brothers & states had full Mughal tutelage.

Is this true Abhay??

This is interesting. Does that mean that despite having 30+ legally wedded wives, all of them did not stay with him till his lifetime?

There was a Mirza Koka who was the childhood & beloved friend of Jehangir... Is he the same one?
