Hi Syria,😊

Though the Q was for Abhay, but he is jammed up between something so I have to chip in here...
Though official documentation of the earlier meeting is NOT mentioned explicitly....But a very subtle hint is there in Abul Fazl's account in describing the marriage proposal acceptance... 😉
According to certain tales,It is said that he saw her during some other Raja's festival/marriage where they were both invited...and he was struck by her unusual beauty...this incident led him to promptly accept the proposal of marriage as soon as it was given by Chughtai Khan.

Kamal

Hi, all here..😊

@Syria(Clumsy_Wings)

Though your question is a subjective one. Still KDR81 has answered your question, for time being.
I have been avoiding this question of yours from part2 thread. Finally, will answer upto best of our knowledge. If you want some elaborate reply kindly wait. We are badly stuck up in some work.
In short, Akbar had seen Heera before marriage, is a 100% fact. The nature of meeting is not 100% known . Wait for some time, for your answer.

@Gem12
Again, waiting is the better option. Though, your answer is "SOMEWHAT" clear, as shown on the show. Will reply soon.

@ All: Ditto as Abhay...
@Syria: In one of Abhay's threads only , I had given the names of the places where MUZ's palaces are still there and the fact that it is also the maximum no. of palaces that were built for any1 among his Queens. Please check the previous threads about MUZ , surely you will find that post 😊

Hi Abhay, I know you are busy so no rush about the answers

I was wondering if the timeline they are showing in the serial is true?

When did Sukanya's marriage take place? Was it just 3-4 months after Jodha Jalal wedding? Did Jalal really attend the wedding?

I am paricularly curious to know regarding timeline for MahamA (what you wrote about her in thread 1)

Was Jodha engaged to Suryabhan or somebody else (in JA movie they have showed Ajabgadh ka prince as her finance). If real Suryabhan did give his life for Jodha's Amer that is big thing so wondering which is true.

Hi Maddy,
Logged in to see AGAIN a tsunami of questions.!😆!. .from you...On all 4 threads, have your questions unanswered, due to paucity of time.

BTW, i have answered your question on part3 thread regarding Aurangzeb destroying evidence about MUZ. See there. I have quoted 1 incident where Aurangzeb destroyed her idols/temple, during his rule. 😕

Part 2 thread question on Jo-Ja is a LONG subjective question based on their relation."Fursat" se answer karenge after quoting some incidents. Need to consult Lizzy and KDR81.

Coming to above questions. WAIT for a few days. All of us are busy now. Will answer . Had they been objective, would have answered, but they are subjective.

But, still telling one thing. I am quoting some info on Maham and Adham. I mentioned this in a thread of Mansi.

For time being, Doing a copy paste job from that thread. Again quoting::

Abul Fazl has not directly blamed MA for all those miscarriages events in the biography.(as far as i remember.) But, he has written indirectly..Infact, he blames indirectly and praises also indirectly..!!.. Confusing..!!

In Abul Fazl's words EXACTLY , it reads as follows-->>" His majesty who gave the lady a mother's status was really broken about her role in him remaining childless.."...
(Lizzy has mentioned this before in my threads..)

Yes, Jalal got to know of MA real nature...And he will be TOTALLY SHATTERED knowing it...It's written...
Not sure about the INSTANT when he actually came to know about MA's deeds.
It seems after her death. (Let's see..It should come on show soon..)

BTW, MA was more cunning than shown in show. She even indulged in political conspiracies apart from Harem misdeeds, against Jalal..(I do not know, what type of 'Badi Ammi' she was.?😕 ).
Example: She once confided with Md.Baqlani, Adham's father in law, and shared some secret information...Ref: Akbarnama,V2,P142...

Regarding death, i have following info.
MA died on 40th day of Adham's mourning.(probably 25 june 1562..)
Akbar was very sad on her death.
On her death, he HIMSELF joined the funeral procession, and walked along with her corpse for some distance...

Later, Akbardid 2 things for her after her death...(Poor chap.! He loved her honestly and she always conspired against him...Bad Luck...!!.)

1. Got her and her son's joint mausoleum constructed in Delhi..Today it is called Bhulbhulaiya.
Later a British officer, converted the portion where there original graves were present, into his dining hall.!! !!. Then, it was taken over by ASI, and restored. But, MA's graves were lost.(as per records) Though, even today the board there says - graves of Adham and Maham.!!..
(Source: ASI)

2. Repaired the mosque which MA had constucted in 1561 in Delhi, in front of Purana Quila, Mathura Road..Delhi..The mosque still exists. Name - "Khairu'l-Manazil'l-Masjid".

About Adham's death..

It's mentioned that, he was jealous of Ataga Khan. Also, Munim Khan instigated Adham against Ataga..!!..So, finally on 16 may 1562, while Ataga, Munim, shahabuddin and others were in the court busy in some royal business..Adham enters in angst along with his servants/followers..
First, Adham's servant Khusham attacked at his chest on his signals. As, Ataga tried to escape, ran towards door, then Khuda Bardi twice struck him with sword. Finally, he was dead.

Ataga's Tomb is on periphery of village Nizamuddin in Delhi, constructed in red sandstone. Completed in 1566-67.

Then, how Adham died FINALLY u know...?..
It is again a long story..Though he will die on same day as Ataga..But, even before dying after some time of Ataga's death, ON SAME DAY, he tried ALL POSSIBLE TANTRUMS TO HARM JALAL.!!!...

Regarding JA movie - "Non-Sense".

They didn't show even the war of Amer-Sharifuddin, before Akbar-Heera marriage, which led to capture of Bharmal's nephews and son.

Where was Ruqayya and others?😕

Even, Akbarnama mentions this war as the reason of marriage & Chugtai Khan. And, movie ignored all that..!?😕?!

That movie showed their marriage in poor light, but actual was a very "NICELY ORGANISED WEDDING CEREMONY"(as per Badayuni & Abul Fazl's chronicles).

Credit KDR81--> Even a few gifts which Akbar received from Amer in wedding are worth mentioning, which he appreciated as well.(though don't have the list RIGHT NOW.!)

For other questions...Wait...!...😊

Minor Update - "Vishkanya"..(in response to a few PM's..)

Already quoted in previous threads..So, re-quoting...
The following is GENERALLY ACCEPTED definition.

They were "prepared", i mean trained from childhood, and made to eat, slightly poisonous fruits, etc.
So, that in due course of time they develop immunity to it.And, their body became adapted to it.
And, they used to become so poisonous that, even their "Most minor scratcH" could result in death..😕.(as i read...)
There is EARLIEST explicit mention of such girls by Chanakya..He prepared such girls to protect Chandragupta Maurya from traitors..😊..Such girls were probably part of his bodyguard-unit..(around 320 B.C.)

The actual concept became SLIGHTLY different with time.😉..(around 500 years after Chanakya's period..)

These things happened those days but more in times of Gupta era...😊..
However, the Vishkanya concept is a bit fudged ..where as an actual one was something more practical...

Hey Abhay,
I asked u whether I should give the real account on VK concept or not...But I never found the thread again with ur comment...😆
Here's what was the procedure and execution for VKs...

Ok...It's like this...

This is True that the VishKanya's were fed with small amount of Poison everyday under supervision. The amount and Type of poison was adjusted according to age and desired effect.
Now, these girls were not randomly chosen ones, but were carefully selected among many such girls whose parents were willing to accept the proposition. The girls had to be born under a specific birth star constallation and were the ones with certain flaws in Kundli like Vaidhavya -yog or Anura-Yog..and the girls who had not shown signs of Puberty.🤔
The girls were taken to Gurukuls where they were taught various arts and science. These girls, getting those various types of poisons slowly got immune to those types of poison. However, Their blood was NOT Poisonous.😊

The tactics used to kill people were as follows:
Being exceptionally beautiful and talented , these girls easily got recruited into the Royal Household of Kings either as Courtesans, Concubines or Maids. After making themselves noticeable and intimate to the Targeted Kings / Princes, these Girls took such amount of poison in their mouth which were fatal to normal human beings(but not for themselves) and either mixed that in food or transferred to the victim while kissing.😉
The VKs being immune to the venom used, did not show any adverse effect but the victim succumbed to death. So, after the death no one could find the source of the venom as there were no trace left anywhere except the VK's own body
which no one could imagine or guess😊 Clean Act u see...
Sometimes they could even smear their fingers with Poison and scratch their victims to death, without the danger of harming themselves.

The mission thus accomplished, the VKs returned to their centers.😊

Regards,
Kamal

P.S.(Ashwin Sanghi does have a good account of these in his books)

Abhay in my defence, I wrote i KNOW you are busy so no urgency about the answers! Secondly you are giving such detail, authentic and with proof anwers, those naturally bring more questions to mind. Plus the serial which raises even more curiosity about the characters.

Big thanks for the detail replies.
I like this version of JA better than the movie, from Jodha's point of view this sounds more realistic, atleast I hope so!

It is hard to imagine more vicious MahamA! Since they are taking some liberties with the dramatization of the events, I hope they show MahamA real face exposed before Jalal when she is alive. Will wait and see.
Looks like real Jalal trusted those who backstabbed him and distrusted those he should have trusted! Guess it had to do with his upbringing by MahamA

If they do follow the timesline guess Adham-MahamA stunning track to follow soon in serial. Even just reading these events sound so dramatic, watching them will be more so I think. If what they are showing in serial about MahamA is realistic then reading what you wrote can say she deserved the end she got.

Will hold onto posting more Qs for the time being!!!!!!
