I hate the idea of showing one character weak just to strengthen another, especially when we know the character is perfectly capable. CVs have shown Jalal more powerful in the earlier episodes. After BK death to his marriage to Rajput Princess, he ruled the kingdom almost for 2 years and he was extremely successful during the period. Solving the issue of Ratanpur is a classic example of his calibre.

Now Ekta's Jalal is nothing just in charge of ladies dormitory, who needs torch bearer in the form of Jodha to even think. This track has destroyed his character today he is a big disappointment. Worst of all, he decided to ditch his Empress to set an example BUT was ready to leave the throne for the vachan given to wife of mere political convenience, how silly this is. He is repeatedly giving assurance to Hamida Bano, Ruqayya and others without any Plan B. At least he should have shared his concern with Ruqayya, she might have come up with some idea; with all the arrogance & attitude she is shown fairly sharp in the early episodes, in miscarriage track and in the last week she gave the idea of decentralization of power or if my memory serves right, Jalal has Nine Jewels in his court, But NO it should be Jodha once again. Jalal admitting defeat and sacrificing such an important relationship does not speak well on his character, leave the epic love story (the relationship build on the debris of existing relationship will never be epic) he is falling short for being called as epic person & Emperor.

Coming to Ruqayya & Jodha, though Ruqayya leaves me with bad taste more than often still I think may be queens did behaved that way, we don't know and of course Jodha is a collective imagination while Ruqayya is a reality; If I can survive Jodha's bloating Rajavanshi ego, Jalal's Main Shehenshah hoon" then I don't mind Ruqayya's never ending auda chants after all she is born into one

Extremely well said! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I think I haven't been clear in communicating my stance..it is not about percentages,it is about
evolution..until you are alone or surrounded by your family that is your blood, your thought process is a one way street ..when your spouse comes into your life, you start evolving..you get a new viewpoint about lot of issues..you may agree with some, disagree with the others, incorporate some with your ideas to make your functioning and relationship even more smoother..in the longer run, this amalgam of ideas becomes the basis of life..this is how marriage works, according to me..absorption of new ideas, flexibility in your stance, adjustments to different thought process makes a marriage work..the incorporation and adjustments don't mean you have lost individuality,in fact you have gained something -beautiful,unique experience in life..this is what is happening to jalal -jodha relationship, when he is in a turmoil, she comes with the idea which he weighs and considers feasible for implementation..this is in no way reflection of his capabilities.it is matter of partnership..when she is in trouble,he finds the way out of the maze..now she is doing the replica of what he did..jalal is evolving everyday and you can't expect him to have answers to every issue at this stage..one can't expect him to be akbar overnight..he is going through the rigours of trial and error.if his life partner is trying to find a solution for him then it no way demeans him..it is this capability of his that will make him a leader(listening hard).he is not a dolt who is soft on everybody,we have seen him decisive in the earlier tracks..if one should blame something about this track, then it should the execution of the track rather than the idea ..

Marriage is not mathematics or a barter system..you put your hands up when your partner needs you..earlier it was jalal who did that for jodha, now it is jodha who is doing it for jalal.if this is going to turn them in to better individuals and better rulers then nothing like this partnership..

As you say what of all the young mothers with kids who will be out on the streets if the law is retrospectively applied? And even now I fail to understand why he cannot face the praja himself like a man! Very poor scripting and characterisatoon. two days ago he gave Hamida etc all the dialogues as if he had the whole thing well under control and knew what he was doing. Now suddenly he looks all thumbs. What the crap?😡

just to emphasis on Jodha, the Cvs are spoiling all the other charectors including Jalal. All Along I had an impression that Ruqu will never turn negetiv and she will bring Jodha and Jalal together. Even I had mentioned that in some of my posts that she will act like a catalyst instead they have made her the worst vamp, sorry not even vamp, I don't have words to call ... What was her plan by the way if she had asked Jodha to dress her up for the night with Jalal? Was she trying to treatr Jodha as a Daasi, or thinkin that just with additional decoration, she will win over Jalal and conceive and there by return with a big grin (witchy) and call her self Marrium?. To show one lady great, why are they spoingling the other lady's grace? She was a Begum of Emperor Jalaluddin Mahammed and how can they stoop that charector so low? Which lady will have the thoughts for a happy night when that is going to be the last night with her husband? If they had showed her locked in her Room all alone without giving entry to Jalal, I would ahve appreciated both the CVs and Ruqu but now, I am really thinking whether to really watch todays episode or not.

Jaya, here I agree with you..they need not have spoilt ruqqu' s character.
And jalal could have made to look like a king.like I told mansi in my earlier post, the idea behind the episode was good,it was about partnership but the scripting and execution was atrocious.that is why we are seeing such virulent posts in the forum

None of us have any issues with Jodha finding solutions for Jalal's problems but we have problems with way he is creating problems. We have problems with his impulive act, without anticipating the outcome of his ruling. Him giving divorce to Ruqaiya is onething but him passing a rule that all the subjects who have married the brides younger than 14 years to give divorce to their wives without thinking of the consequences. Jalal might provde well to Ruqaiya but all those men are they so prospective to provide their wives generously and what will befall them after the Divorce. What was the guaranty they will get a re-entry iin ther maternal house? There was clear case of Jodha where her mother banned her from returning to her maika as a divorce then what did he planned for those? What if Jodha had not come out with that suggestion? Just to build one relation, what was the fun in spoiling the other?

Sangeetha,
I like what you have written here. As long as the two people concerned are giving room for each other to evolve and are supporting this evolution towards each becoming 100% fulfilled to his or her own potential it is great. It tis the word "you complete me" that troubles me because it sufggests an incompleteness without the other, and thereby a dependency. Any for of dependency, even a good dependency is less preferable, to me, than a self-sufficiency. But it must be a self-sufficiency that accommodates others opinions and integrates it into ones' own belief systems so that one grows richer. It is just a question of semantics. I don't have a quarrel with the points you have made at all. In fact I go with what you have said. You have give a ray of hope that we can look at yesterday's episode with a kindlier eye.

Jaya, I got the feeling - after much thinking - that maybe Ruq asked Jodha to dress her in a streak of extreme sarcasm like :"I always valued brains over beauty because jalal has no heart to appreciate beauty. But if this is to be the last night, let me at least give your lowly methods a try!"

yes the worst episode and had Jo come up with the solution before Jalal had pronounced his decision of divorcing ruku , then also it would have been much sensible and tolerable, but He took the decision of divorcing ruku without a Plan B in hand. Is it bearable??He was simply gonna loose a so life long relationship just because of the moronic adham khan's foolish demands!!!And he continuously kept assuring his ammijan and ruqiyaa that he would do no wrong and to have faith in him!!!😕

And Jalal in the DEK clearly ordered atgah khan to inform his subjects that following his divorce, other spouses also would have to undergo a divorce session and was not it expected that at least people of agra and nearer villages would oppose the decision and would come to meet him with plea to take his decision back way before ruku went outside to serve her tragic story to the people..

It just simply showed another loop hole in his administration, where his ministers were directed to spread the news ASAP in the MORNING itself in DEK, but by the EVENING also there was no reaction from the people until ruqu faced them personally, did his people just ignore the news of shahensha's decision or were they uninformed till then???

I must ask what kind of administrator jalal is then. who's ministers also don't obey his orders and commence that immediately..🤢😭

I understand where you are coming from..that is why I have said jalal is in his learning phase ..he is just learning ropes of managing kingdom ..he is bound to make mistakes..remember in the conversion track, jodha told hamida about jalal not consulting elders in court before arriving at a desicion..he talked to atgah Khan here but not to hamida banu who would have given him a woman's
pov.. this is where he erred..henceforth he will understand that there will be repercussion to all his decision..he will tread slowly and carefully hereafter..both jalal and jodha are not perfect..it is the evolution together which has been shown
