Well I have always seen we like and appreciate people we identify more with...

Ru is an absolutely unfair character who makes no bones about taking unfair advantage of anything...Pardon me but she has displayed next to zero depth in terms of behaviour and understanding. She'll never be the first to say she is in love for fear of rejection-- She is scared of rejection, not with lack of love.
Watching her interact with Jalal looks like he is doing a great service, a chore, handling a responsibility, which he is not enjoying. With Jo even the worst of times, the interaction appears like a challenge, that Jalal is enjoying...
Jo is a stubborn, forthright, crystal-clear woman who is clear about the identity of the proverbial spade. According to Jo, where there is love all else follows...Nothing right is going to come out of wrongs...

I understand when ruqaiya's insecurities come to fore but I have full sympathies with the one who has to bear the brunt of it. The reason I feel for jodha is pretty simple, I dislike it when she has to give explanations and feel guilty for things that are rightfully hers. If you see in today's episode, she was questioned as if she was at fault for sympathising with jalal. The questions like why did you feel bad when jalal was in tears? Where do you stand with jalal? This is bizzare. If she spends a night with her husband, she is questioned. If she sympathises with her husband she is summoned and has to give explanations because the one questioning her is jalal's best friend and mallika-e-khas. Yes, the one who feels insecure needs to be handled with care before the situation spirals out of control but the one who has to take the lashings (and has not fault) also needs to be taken care of before he/she is driven to his/her breaking point.

She did realize the repercussions...they even showed a scene of her asking Shareef not to do this because it might lead to his death

2. When Jodha passed by Bakshi, she realized the woman was repenting her deed... staying aloof...which in her eyes was a form of self imposed punishment.
No Anu...BB on the contrary clearly said if it came to it again - she'd do the same thing...where is this repentance?😆

3. Somewhere Jodha realized that meting out punishment to BB would actually end up being a punishment for HB and Jalaal.
This is the only argument that might hold good dear...but, if Shareef strikes again...using BB as a scapegoat...then hasn't she ended up hurting Jalal/HB more? 🤔
That talk abt love and what one does in love, well we all share the same thought...
A tad unbelievable that Jodha would gain so much wisdom...😆😆😆
Anu this decision of her's showed she didn't use the judicious wisdom she should have been using...😕

Jodha is an Empress...there is only so much you can let go or give...anything beyond shall not be called selfless, only ignorance!

What she did is politically not right (the same can be said of Jalal too) - to give it a reasoning of love does not mean its right... Then all crimes of love/passion today can be justified (by Jodha's reasoning)

Had BB's actions successfully ended up killing Jodha - or making her terminally ill - would you still stick by 'forgiving-BB-is-right' since she had done so in the name of love?

When Jodha took long to forgive her own mother (for just advising her harshly in court) and hasn't yet forgiven Sujamal (for actually demanding a kingdom that originally belonged to his father) - how is she expecting Jalal to forgive BB for trying to defame/banish/assassinate Jodha and betray him? Isn't the latter crime the worst of the lot? 🤔

Think of all these points without the mindset of which character your prefer and then you'd understand why this argument doesn't hold true...
Just as much as I'm disappointed with Jalal (and his forces) for not catching Shareef's mideeds yet, I'm disappointed with Jodha for letting go of a criminal scot-free and justifying the horrible crime committed with the reasoning of love.

This is just perfect di...had this been someone other than Bakshi there would have been punishment for sure, that person must love someone too but wouldn't be let off so easily. And if this is the case,it's being partial just cos it's family! I would have definitely been more happy and applauded Jo if she had punishes Bakshi in some way! And I love both Jalal n Jo equally,or maybe Jalal a little more😳

True Soumya...and by punishment we don't mean something violent - she could have just had her in isolation or something...

BB'd still get all the aisho-araam...only thing, she can't interact with others...
This could have been carried out at least for a set period of time (a month or two)...after which, possibly they could have shown Jo asking Jalal to have her released (esp when she notices that her shehenshah is very sad sad lately)..

it would have balanced everything..

This would have shown Jo judicious, empathetic to Jalal and forgiving towards BB at the same time!

Poor Jo...always caught between a rock and a hard place.

For me, Jalal did not ask Jodha to make a decision regarding BB's punishment because Jodha is his queen. He asked her to decide the punishment because she was the victim of the crime. As the crime was committed against her and not anyone else and the king gave her the right to decide the punishment in this instance it is her right to forgive or punish.

If it had been two subjects coming in front of Jodha and the victim is demanding justice from the queen then it would have been a different story. I think if this is the case Jodha would have given a punishment befitting the crime. That is not what happened here.

I also think Jalal made the right decision by punishing BB because as the king he can't be seen as favouring his family even though the victim of the crime decided to forgive the perpetrator.

If I am the Jodha, I would have asked BB to get a psych evaluation to see if she is all right in the head 😆 followed by years of intense therapy 😆but in the case as the victim of the crime it was Jodha's decision to make not as a member of the royal family but as the victim of the crime.

Anyways, that's my take on the whole fiasco. 😃
