Jalal says to Ruku that she has not got her position becoz she is his friend but because she is exceptional...Now I dont mind this dialogue at all...but he says next that even Jo cant stand in front of you...Usme tumhare saamne khade hone kaa taab nahi hai...Is this the same Jalal who was calling Jodha hunar ki mallika..?Jalal needed to pacify Ruku no doubt but for that he didn't need to demean Jodha...He says he has not arranged party for Jo but his mother did...Again a white lie! Both Ruku and Jo deserve better than this...
Again those who say that he has not realized his feelings for Jo that is why he is saying all this , I disagree completely...You dont need to love some one to show them respect...In all this fiasco I dont blame Ruku...She is a married woman and she feels her husband is slipping from her hands...She is bound to feel insecure...Frankly I would...
But after looking at the scene yesterday I feel Ruqlal is the real couple and Jodha is the other woman and I am sure many many ppl who dont visit India forum also feel so...Jodha has started looking like a marriage breker instead of the heroine of the serial...
Again will Jo always get this second class treatment compared to Ruku?
I have also become suspicious abt the genuineness of Jalal's feelings...Is he faking to Jodha? Till now I have strongly refuted it but I am not sure now...
Ela, I see your points 100% ... but for a moment see his tenuous position also. He has to admit his attraction for Jodha (or at least be polite about Jodha) who seems to be so churlish towards him still?
The problem is that all three of them are on slippery grounds as regards each other:
Ruq-Jodha = unsettled turf war over jalal
Jalal-Jodha = unsettled relationship dynamics
Jalal-Ruq = slipping threads
Who is Ok here?
That why all I can see here is that Jalal is at least trying to clarify the lines between Ruq and Jodha, and in the process if his method is a bit devious we are unable to bear it.
He needn't pacify Ruq by reducing Jodha. He needn't woo Jodha by hiding stuff from Ruq. He can be open and say "I can do what I like" and they will all have to shut up and accept!
But instead of taking his rights forcefully he is himself, with sentimentality, trying to cajole Ruq and woo Jodha with kindness.
There will come a stage I think when he is forced to say "Thus far and no further. Here I come, women, I'lll just take what I want and leave what I don't want and you can all go to the blazes".
If I were in his shoes, I would have alraedy reached that point!
