Ela, just to sum up all that we've all been saying:

1. Jalal does seem to have a plan that he is acting upon. His actions are clearly not random as regards Ruq or Jodha.

2. What that plan is we don't know, we can only guess, but we can count on the plan of the Creatives ... that is to get more TRPs which they will only get if the love story of Jodha-Jalal happens. So the story will progress in that direction only even if Ruq is a troublesome part of the current triangle. hence Jalal's plan must also be "towards Jodha" and "away from Ruq". The TRP pressure demands it!

3. All of us agree in one voice that Jalal's methods of pacifying or programming Ruq (using Jodha as fodder) is not nice to watch. But then if that is Jalal's method (ie. if he is a bit crooked in his methods to achieve the right ends) I guess we will all have to live with it. In the same way if Jodha has flaws we have to accept that also as part of the story.

So this seems to be where it all is!

In the end, come what may, TRP = Jodha-Jalal love story. So we may have hurdles and hiccups but the Creatives cannot stray too far from this path. That is our solace!

Ela, if Ruq is behind this pregnancy lie and she gets caught that will finish the trust JJalal has on her once and for all. That may be the best thing for us!

well he told ruku wht she wants to hear. maybe his way was not right, but maybe its his way to cool down ruquiya. he is a 16th century emperor & we had always seen him as a egoistic man. infact, most of the men in those days were like him. but still he is keeping his promise. as i have said how many egoistic man can do tht?? changes cant be expected so soon. evrything will be gradual. as i said he is not akbar so he is not perfect.

Well in a way yes...but a relationship so strong broken and then he goes to Jodha...because there is no Ruku...toh chaloo Jodha tum hi sahi...I dont want that kind of scenario...I think Ruku will cease to be his best friend to a certain extent...

Ela, aisa bhi ho saktha hai ki "he is distressed afterhe finds that Ruq has done this to him and Jodha, and in that depression Jodha may be able to provide him that balm that he craves for healing his emotions again"?

It need not be that he is strong, he could be weak after the betrayal of Ruk where Jodha may be able to help him heal?

And as you say Ela it is very very possible, because then again this scene yesterday makes sense. Jalal is still close to Ruq even after he feels attraction for Jodha. But Ruq herself spoils the relationship by doing this preggy track. Maybe she did it because Maham insists that Jalal-Jodha slept together on the stormy night so Ruq is unable to believe the innocence of Jalal and Jodha yesterday.

Suppose Maham has sworn that the Khwaja Sera did definitely insist on jalal giving body heat, then Ruq's mind will have got poisoned and be in eternal suspecting mode of Jodha and Jalal and she may think this pregnancy story is the best way to get the real truth. In the process she may hurt jalal and Jodha. Jalal will be doubly hurt that she didn't trust his word and she did this to expose him. And she has reduced his reputation also! And he may also not be able to forgive the hurt she has caused to Jodha who is actually an inncocent party!

If this happens then we can fully understand why the Creatives gave so much bhaav to Jalal-Ruq scenes ... it may be because they want to show the great and hurtfull downfall of jalal after Ruq betrays him!
