Hi,
I was waiting for your analysis the whole time...you have given a beautiful analysis of Jalal and the game he might be playing with Ruqiya...But am afraid I think that Jalal and Jodha's relationship hasn't reached that level where he has to groom ruqiya to accept his relationship with Jodha. I do think that yesterday-- him placating Ruqiya was more due to the facts that he already knew she was mad at him and also she had tried to take out her anger on Jodha previously, plus yesterday was Jodha's birthday so to avoid Ruqiya's tantrum he cooled her down and he knows how Ruqiya think and what can truly Placate and sooth her.
she is his best friend and a loyal wife...he would never try to loose her favor so he makes sure that she remains happy :)

i think its jalal who is attracted to jodha and he wants to work it out with her..that is why he wants to spend more time with her, on the other he also has compartmentalized his feelings for ruq..jodha is a new and interesting discovery that attracts him and ruq is like old is gold..she has her position in his palace and in his mind which no one can or will take!
