Looks remote to me! This pregnancy story is usually done by women rather than men, na?

I realize the Cvs have to cater to the TRPs, after all it is business that matters...But I've often wondered, is the Indian audience really so daft? Do they really subscribe to glorification or victimization of women and other characters? Don't know..I am not a market researcher..the fact is there is not one show that is really balanced in their portrayal of women and characters on a consistent level...Ditto for JA..
Honestly what struck me as unnatural in yesterday's epi, more than even Jalal-Ruq convo, was the over pampering of Jodha on her Bday. No woman even in this era, gets the same treatment in her husbands house as in her maayka, no matter how wonderful her in-laws are.. And that's how it is..Thats what being a woman is all about. She just beautifully evolves from a daugher to a wife, DIL and mother. A woman has the capacity to blend herself in her new world with dignity rather than expect the old world luxuries. A man cannot do that. The CVs could have shown Hamida and sundry celebrating her Bday. even the Jashn is absolutely fine. BUT Tulabaar??and that too for a Bahu who has not yet done anything extraordinary yet. I actually cringed when I saw it. This is when I feel CVs go overboard , when this is not even needed for TRPs.. but of course, this is purely my opinion..I have yet to come across any comment on this issue, so I guess most of the forumwaasis are ok with the Jodhaoing yesterday.. But these small things make me feel that Cvs can't think too far like yu or give scenarios like yu depicted😳.. Am sorry if I sound so dismal ..Believe me..I would love to be proved wrong😊

Thanks for the positive vote! And yes we can never trust the Creatives to have really strong brains.
But still if we can't trust them to some small degree (that they will do whatever is needed for TRPs) then where are we?
I have faith that the Creatives will do what's needed for TRPs. And hereTRP = Jodha-Jalal romance (with a little bit of hurdles every now and then).
So if I keep faith in that as the overall creative ploy, I think I am OK.

And as you say Ela it is very very possible, because then again this scene yesterday makes sense. Jalal is still close to Ruq even after he feels attraction for Jodha. But Ruq herself spoils the relationship by doing this preggy track. Maybe she did it because Maham insists that Jalal-Jodha slept together on the stormy night so Ruq is unable to believe the innocence of Jalal and Jodha yesterday.
Suppose Maham has sworn that the Khwaja Sera did definitely insist on jalal giving body heat, then Ruq's mind will have got poisoned and be in eternal suspecting mode of Jodha and Jalal and she may think this pregnancy story is the best way to get the real truth. In the process she may hurt jalal and Jodha. Jalal will be doubly hurt that she didn't trust his word and she did this to expose him. And she has reduced his reputation also! And he may also not be able to forgive the hurt she has caused to Jodha who is actually an inncocent party!
If this happens then we can fully understand why the Creatives gave so much bhaav to Jalal-Ruq scenes ... it may be because they want to show the great and hurtfull downfall of jalal after Ruq betrays him!

Agree completely...wonderful idea...How if MA opens this conspiracy of Ruku to Jallu as MA has to stop Ruku from revealing AK's name in moti bai's case?

See Ela, yesterday or day before this Ruq let slip in some dialogue to Hoshiyaar I think that maham told her all about that stormy night. In that case Maham would have told the full version of what she knows ie. the Khwaja Sera said that Jlalal should give Jodha body heat, and so he did that! Maham believed that meas Jodha-Jalal have done "it" and that is the version she has given Ruq.
Now later Jodha said there was nothing physical and yesterday Jalal admitted he too was just joking about the physical. But in Ruq's mind will be the question: if Khwaja sera said body heat only could save jodha, how can it be that nothing physical happened?
So the only way she has to test this is to say Jodha got pregnant. The Jodha-Jalal will have to once and for all either deny or prove that's not true, and the truth will come out.
What Ruq may not be acalculating is this MU between Jodha Jalal of both suspecting each other. That may not be part of Ruq's objective at all. She is just interested in what she wants to know: did they or did they not start getting physical?
Now as a result of all this if jalal and Jodha are hurt beyond measure, then in the process of the resolution phase of this track, Jodha-jalal may learn to get more trust on each other (thanks to hamida advice to both) while on the other hand, Jalal will be even more pissed that though he valued Ruq so much she neither trusted his word nor did decently to try this chaall and in that process she has humiliated him to think Jodha has another lover! It is too much for his ego to bear, and Ruq may shatter his soft corner for her!

actually things r going on in a confusing way ever since the tiger track ended. till the tiger attack track evrything was actually gud. jalal's behavior whether positive or negative was always crystal clear. but after tht CVs r showing evrything in a confusing way. sum scenes looks like jalal is planning sumthing, but on the other hand there r sum scenes like jalal's worries for jodha when she was senseless due to the ice storm were real. so we really have to wait nd watch to see whts in the CVs mind.😆

Beg to disagree...its the patriarchy's conditioning of woman's mind to make them feel they are super endurers and can achieve glory only by enduring hardships. It actually works for men. Women feel they can endure and men feel they must endure and then they plant thoughts like a woman eveloves from a daughter to wife, DIL, mother etc. A transition is as much a rule for a man as it is for a woman. I believe a woman craves and deserves just as much love as a man and she is entitled to it. Why must she not expect and get love?
Off course a woman can and must expect all love. And if the in-laws who are now her family must shower her with the same amount of love!
