He said he won't TOUCH her, now being a shahensha he can't elaborate what he actually meant , but all we know what was the inner meaning, but it was also not that he wouldn't hold her hand or would not even come within a yard of her..he married her, he has every right, but he has left the decision of consummation on jodha.
