He gave it on first night ...that he will not touch her ...It is a different matter that he doesn't keep his promise and keeps on touching her...If Jodha has any brains , she would keep him at arms lenght...

No woman deserves a community husband( borrowed term) like him...

Ela, come on it was just his decision to not touch her as he did not want her to feel special. But, it was no promise given to her or asked by her. Its just that they have had so many arguments about this but I do not recall anyone giving or asking for one.

In love you do not weigh the goodness quality and then decide to fall in love. He likes Jodha's brutal honesty and her hatred for him is another attraction. I don't think you can say whether a person is worthy of love, as it just happens. He was going to make Rahim the king and would support him till he is able to manage on his own. It was not an emotional or love attached decision to step down. To him the promise means everything, whether given to Jodha or anybody else.

Yes ur right, he said he won't touch her coz it will increase her importance n like he loves her something like that... But how could jodha term it as a promise ... N to be honest he leaves no opportunity to touch her hand and all so many times ... 😆...
