Bairam khan was deeply tensed...he had just met with ADHAM KHAN and while coming back had eavesdropped on his conversation with BAZ BAHADUR,one of the closest ministers of SHEHENSHAH HUMAYUN...Bairam Khan was surprised to see Baz Bahadur there..what was Shehshshah Humayun's close confidant doing with Adham Khan...BK had stealthly come back and listened to their conversation...and that was enough for BK to know that Baz Bahadur was as sly as a fox..he was backstabbing the emperor and doing it so subtly that the emperor had no way of knowing this...BK did not want to accuse anyone without proof but he knew that Baz Bahadur could not act alone,there must most certainly be others helping him out...people who might be in agra right this very moment trying to upstage the emperor...BK decided to meet with Shehenshah Humayun as soon as possible...these vultures had to be stopped and they Will Be...no one is going to harm the mughal sultanat as long I am alive swore Bairam Khan...

BK got back home to see a fuming Salima and a pouty Jamaima...it did not take long for him to understand that Jamaima must have done smthing to annoy his begum...his begum was such a child at times...getting annoyed at small little things...

The next morning BK and Salima were talking in hushed tones just outside Jamaima's room..BK had yet not told Jamaima that he was leaving for Amer today and knew when she comes to know she will also insist on going there..Jamaima was very close to her abbujaan and wanted to accompany him everywhere,but she was not aware of BK being Shehenshah Humayun's spy in Malwa..she would take most of BK's journeys as journeys made to patients houses and insisted on accompanying him bcoz she herself was very interested in learning the art of curing people through medicines...she used to say."PATA NAHI KAB ZAROORAT PAD JAYE,AUR AGAR TAB ABBU NAHI HUE AAS PAAS TAB HUM KYA KARENGE",but this was no ordinary journey for BK...if Adham khan ever found out that BK was actually working against him he would not only get him killed but his family would also suffer...he needed to be very very careful...BK and Salima were talking about how to inform Jamaima about BK's journey when the lazy girl got up and came out to greet her ammi and abby...seeing some packed bags around her she got excited...
