Hi Shyamala,
Well I Know ,I know...I have posted in the earlier post but that was what was available at that time and I simply could not contain myself from posting to You first of all...😛 hence have to re-post here , as I can see that What je vois or perceive today is seen by the world tomorrow...😆 (Shaguni bai indeed is lending her powers ) ...😉 Also, Didn't I tell u in the even earlier post that Jalaal wanted to show-off at the cost of Jodha's discomfort which was confirmed by his Parikraman round Jodha with the tale-tell smirk of him...??

And now that I have seen the episode 4 times in a row ...so can vehemently justify all the things that I had mentioned earlier...

Request to you specially is pls scroll down to the new P.S. Part here as I have affirmed some thing there....😃

here's the piece for others to have a look...😊 Pls consider my excitement in doing this as I can hardly contain my over-whelmed self Today...😛

====================================================
Hi Shyamala and anobserver(and all others),
Though I am too over-whelmed by today's epi...I must admit that I too hope it's yet another vivid imagination of Her Excellency...😊 It better be...I feel it should her own hand which should plant that Tamaacha rather than Ruqaiyya...!!😡

About the epi, I was pleasantly surprised as the presentation surpassed my expectation in most cases (Like seeing Mohan as a Para-trooper rather than a foot-soldier) 👏...barring a few like I expected more fervor and urgency (rather than grabbing yet another chance of Lecturing to the almost dying fellow ) from H.Ex. for her mistake and concern of her almost dying husband.

My eyes started moistening on two occasions :

1.Hearing Rajat's Jalaal not complaining even after hearing her confession ,but giving an Angelic smile and a matching affectionate speech on the rules of his true existence to his distressed Puerile Wife while gasping for life (I think CVs are trying to make him a saint really)😭
2.Paridhi's Jodha Give that Heart-Rending Cry fearing the worst when her Husband lost consciousness.😭 That actually shows that the incident DID effect her on a very personal level realizing the true effect of that misfortune, surpassing her claim to have concern only for the Prajaa of the Sultanate.😊

I was really touched by the scenes 👍🏼
1." Jodha using every bit of her (nowadays almost disappeared) commonsense ,Physical strength and will power to make through the journey to a safer place. I simply was mesmerized when she was riding after tying Jalaal to herself and was securing his head on her shoulder with her hand ...Just like a protective mother...
!!😳🤗
(Shyamala, what a wonderful and apt simili ...LaxmiBai 😃...Really every bit...JodhaBai with Jallu Boy😆 )

2.Jodha's Maang getting smeared by Jalaal's blood while trying to balance him on the horse... as a divine reassurance of her Suhaag-Raksha and the FB of her Sindoordaan 😛Typical Ms.EK moment , no doubt ,but was a treat for us fans nonetheless...😃

I will stop here today as I know all of us are still recuperating from the fever of today's epi...so am I...hence more for tomorrow)

Regards,
Kamal

P.S. A few doubts-
1.Why did Jodha leave her husband's side after reaching Agra?? 😕
2.Jalaal said that he cannot see his begums in White Libaas...!!!! Now does Muslim custom require widows to wear White only??I doubt...😕
(Or is it that he only could think of Jodha doing it in case he dies, and finding it unbearable...😉 This gives me another thought...when Jodha was about to commit suicide , she could only think of Jalaal and her Mom , And now we see Jalaal doing the same..i.e. thinking of His own Mom and Jodha just before he thought he would die, not to forget his uttering her name repeatedly before losing consciousness...😛 Now do we see/smell something here??? Whatever it is, it's extremely pleasant for sure 😃

================================================

Regards,
Kamal

P.S.As I saw the epi 4 times in a row now 😆...just to get the dialogues correct...😆 It's "Hum Apne Begum ko Safed Libaas ..." and NOT "Begum-o ko..."Meaning some particular one begum who would have to wear White as is the custom in Hindus...Which is none other than Our Jodha Dear..😃

thank u so much for the post. As soon as I read all the posts about the episode, I started waiting for ur post and am happy that I did not have to wait until tom but I hope it did not strain your eyes. Your post was much needed one and it came at right time for me.

I live in USA so it telecasts 10-11 hrs later. So, I usually wait for written and video update. But, until I wait for that I read all the posts done by memebrs in India who are watching it live. So, today when I read all the posts, I got disappointed because I was hoping that Jalal and Jodha would be alone in jungle and she would be taking care of him. I was not expecting hgr or kiss or romance of any kind this quickly because it would be too fast. I was not even sure if I wanted to watch entire episode and i was going to just watch the Jodha-Jalal scene but then I never missed watching the JA even during MC track because I had read ur post advising someone that they should not miss it because then it would ruin the flow.

Anyways, I am actually glad that I watched today's episode. I was really impressed with Paridhi and Rajat's acting skills(not that I was not before) especilaly Paridhi in today's epsiode. When Paidhi screams in anguish right after Jalal is unconscious, I had goosebumps and also in entire scene until soldiers find them. She was spectacular. I also noticed that when Jalal did not mention Maham Anga, which was nice for change but I wonder why and I am curious t know what he was was going to say after jodha begum jodha begum...? Other things that I noticed that how Jodha came between Jalal anfd tiger with his fire torch than giving it to Jalal. When Hamida tells Jodha to pray nothing happens to Jalal because you have no idea what coud happen;I feel like that's when it dawn to Jodha that this is Mughal sultanat and not small kingdom as Amer. I agree with you that Hamida banu acted perfectly under pressure.👏

I was so involved in the episode from the beginning but when Jodha told Jalal that she took out the bullets I burst out laughing but then when I saw Jalal-Jodha scene after he was injured I was so moved.

I just don't understand how can she be so stupid enough to remove bullets. I know she said that she did not want Jalal to commit a "paap" by killing deer but seriouslyit's a jungle; there are other animals too. She is a princess and now a queen she should know that even a child know that. But, I still feel bad for her. I really hope precap is a nightmare and not reality.

thank u so much for the insightful post.

Thank you, my dear Lashy. I am dropping with sleepiness, but I will not be around tomorrow, so I will say only this. I do not care a tinker's curse whether the precap is true or a nightmare. If it is true, and I had been Ruqaiya, it would not have been just the one slap/

Secondly, before going into raptures about Jodha's never say die spirit😉, please do not forget to remember that if she had had a little less of spirit and a little more of sense, there would have been no need for all this show of spirit. Anyone in her place would never have given up, especially when it was not an accident but her own damn fault. What did you expect her to do, sit there on the forest floor and wail? I am not going to cut her any slack on that.

Good night, my dear girl.

Lovely post aunty 😃

I ended up doing more of a rambling-in-shambles today 😆

The heart of the matter: For me, the core of the beautifully conceptualised and presented episode lay elsewhere than in the shots of a distraught Jodha with nothing to do except shed tears of guilt.

Firstly, it was all handled much better than I had expected. It was far grimmer, and the desperation and the trauma got to me. I am far more cynical than most of you, and I am not easily moved by manufactured tragedy. But I could actually feel it, and I did not look at the scenes of Jodha, struggling to salvage something from the wreckage her sanctimonious folly had created, as if I was judging an acting competition, in a detached and critical manner.

Even as I wanted to clout her, I could feel her helpless agony as she cradled her bleeding and unconscious husband in her arms and tried to shake him back to consciousness. This is as much to the credit of the scripting as to that of Paridhi, whose wild eyed incoherence, morphing to renewed determination as she straps Jalal to herself and tries to get him to safety, was as real as anything I have seen on the big screen.

I'm very rarely moved so emotionally by any episode or serial, but this one did...to say I was touched is an understatement...and not by Jodha's wails or jalal's final statements...but by her determination to come back AFTER all of it - to not give up ...to NOT give up even after he seemed nearly dead...to NOT give up even after he'd fallen off...how would she know where she was...alone in a dark forest...she could have been riding in the wrong direction for all we know...

And yet, she didn't give up...my proudest Jodha moment (yes yes I haven't forgotten her past deeds...but, still...loved her there!)

Which is why I feel the precap is another of Jodha's nightmares. If Ruqaiya learns the truth from Jodha, how can the scandal be contained? Every harem inmate, alerted by her wailing, will become a bush telegraph, and the facts, and the even more lurid rumours that will surface in their wake, will spread across the empire at the speed, not of sound, but of light. I do not think the CVs will show such a monumental scandal engulfing Agra, for it could never have been whitewashed post facto.

Actually, for some reason I feel that its not a dream...Ruq knows her husband more than anyone else ...she knows he's a good hunter...there' no way she would believe something like that would have happened by HIS fault...besides, Jodha would not be able to pretend/stay quiet after having committed such a monumental mistake..she's going to face/brave it all! This is my feeling about what's to come...

Also, aunty - generally harems were considered to be tight-knit places...though politics played within...though they might have been a city within , but matters of women inside didn't travel as quickly outside...there was an article from a book posted over the weekend about the workings of a harem (which is quite close to what Ekta's portrayed) and it does reiterate my thoughts that what went on in the harem generally stayed within.

Well, we know that Jalal will survive. We know that this incident will bring him and Jodha closer. But for now, Jodha, with no access to Jalal's sick chamber, will be reduced, when she pauses from justified self-flagellation, to haranguing the long suffering Kanha. He must already be hunting for his ear plugs he had misplaced while Jodha was safely away on the way to Ajmer.

😆

Star of the day: Hamida Banu. Even in the depth of shock and grief, and even after learning that it was all Jodha's doing, she can find it in herself to maintain her dignity and to react with restraint. Not to slap Jodha or scream abuse at her, but merely ask her to pray that Jalal survives, as other wise the fallout for the empire would be beyond her imagination. This is what is meant by grace under pressure. Jodha badly needs a lesson in this, and she can do no better than learn from her Ammijaan.

wow I never reflected on HB in this way - thanks for enlightening me on this one aunty 😳

Plus, Jodha is a tad bit more sensible than Sanyogita me thinks😆
Sanyo was in love with PRC...she wanted to take care of him by herself😆
In PRC, they were midway between both cities -here, they were quite close to Agra...

There...I'm sure by now you want to clout me...😆

No di.. How can I hurt you?

True Mohan is way too deadly.😆

Very nice post!!! It was a riveting episode...rajat and paridhi excelled in their scenes...they were a treat to watch...

Initially, Jodha was all about guilt, fear, panic, desperation...the ultimate moment was when she was all about fierce determination...I caught the glimpses of old jodha...the one who had the ability to think straight when amer was engulfed by gloom and loss...had she used her common sense before they wouldn't have been in this situation...

Jalal...the resignation in his eyes...voicing his unfulfilled dreams and desires...it was jalal...not the shehensha of Hindustan...but, jalal...the man was gutted...A life that held great promises cut short...that too because of a reason as silly as this...😡

Jodha's confession to Hamida...I have a slightly different take on this one...yes, jodha has never shown the understanding of dynamics of harem and sultanate...but, i am sure she knows the consequences of her confession...she knew it very well when she took the false blame upon herself...i am happy that she didn't sing it to any one else and landed straight in hamida bano's chamber(unlike confronting maham blunder)...anyways... it would have been an absolute shame if, she would have fudged up...if, not everyone...Hamida bano deserved to know the truth...jodha owed it to her...Hamida bano has been an angel to her...confessing a "sin" to her required a clear conscience and guts...if, jodha would have been even a bit manipulative with hamida bano...I would have seen no difference between her and maham...at least, maham manipulates because she can't think beyond adham...

Precap- ruqaiya's anger and reaction are JUSTIFIED...What else she is supposed to do
??
