Well, Muslims aren't supposed to do 'maatha tekna' in front of anyone but God. So the premise - if doing this in front, or to, a grave - is wrong. Maybe that's what the writer meant.If it's pure language - maatha is sometimes used by Urdu speaking folks, though the urdu terms are peshaani, mah. Tekna is an urdu word though for this act, we'd just say sujda.
