I want someone to set Maham and Rukaiya on fire.. they are terrible.. I don't understand what rukaiya is happy about..

I feel Maham lied to Jodha about Mainavati.. Why would Bhairamal send hypervati to Agra.. she will create havoc in the mughal household with her wailing...

Shyamala I liked her behaviour today ...She accepted her unintentional mistake so politely today...
Her going to MA and saying sorry shows her breeding and also that she gives respect to the woman( rattle snake) whom Jalal considers as his mother...It was care ( little bit only) for his feelings also...But Jalal didnt give her a chance before accusing her...
Those who say she should not behave like Jalal and be better than him , for them I will say Jodha is being human...she never said she is a saint...
It was Jalal who brought her in this household which is completely different from hers and she is his and his alone responsiblity...What did he do ? He left her when she needed him most, not only that he was not giving her a chance to prove her innocence...he just wanted to punish her...
Can she forgive him so easily...I know I wont...Not at all...
Plz read zoyafan's thread on jodha...Its beautiful and says everything so beautifully which I cant...

Ela, if you were Jodha, Ekta would not be making this serial.😉 She would shut up shop, as she did with her Mahabharata. Since it is still watchable, and better than most others, it is probably just as well that you are not Jodha!😉

Well, she did not go to Mahaam, Mahaam came to her. In any case, I saw no reason for all these abject apologies. Jodha had done nothing intentionally, and she should have said so, calmy but firmly, and left it at that.

What is more, I did not at all understand her statement that her parents would not have forgiven her and that she had committed a big paap. She is saying this to her daasis, and looking very scared, long before Jalal turns up to go thru his Pamplona bull routine, and I could not comprehend that at all. What paap? It was only an unfortunate accident. How does that become a gunaah, not to speak of a gunaah-e-azeem, and why should she be dissolving into a puddle of regret for it?

And to that old witch, Mahaam, who she knows hates her, and whom she dislikes acutely? And don't tell me she did it because of concern for her husband's feelings, for she has none. If she had had any, she would not have failed to greet him with a pranam yesterday, at the very least, nor would she have been so ostentatiously off putting to him in public.

Jodha is being shown to be like a yoyo, Unnecessarily hoity toity one moment, and unnecessarily humble the other. I am thinking of setting up a Protect Jodha Project, of like-minded members who feel, like I do, that her character's potential is being ruined and reduced to the standard soap female lead, and this needs to be set right by lobbying the CVs about it.

All this said and done, and for all that she gets on my nerves, I felt very sorry for Jodha today, especially when she is sitting all by herself before Mahaam arrives. It is the concern one feels for the underdog. When she lifted scared eyes to Jalal's and tried to explain that she had not meant to do it and it was just an accident, she looked so woebegone that my heart went out to her. Paridhi did wonderfully well in that scene.

Alakh, Mainavati is exactly what the Mughal household needs! She will wail enough to drive all of them round the bend; no wonder Jalal is dashing out to find Jodha before he is confronted with his saasuma! 😉

I too feel that Mahaam is bluffing Jodha just to scare the already petrified girl even more, poor thing. But would that not have been found out almost instantly? But see my exchanges with Ela, Alakh. Why does Jodha have to be petrified, and what is this gunaah-e-azeem for an unfortunate galti?

Did you notice one more thing? When the chips are down for Jodha, Hamida is not a jot of use, whether it was the Motibai case or now. Of course she stood up for her in the dature ka ark case, perhaps because that was a life or death matter. But the fuss they all, including Gulbadan and even Hamida herself, make abou this seems excessive to me, but I suppose I cannot understand the religious sensibilties of that age.

No, Alakh, I do not agree. Now was the time for her to show her mettle. What is the worst that could have happened to her? Being sent back home pronto. But that was on the cards already. Anyone can strut about when times are easy, but the brave stand up to tough circumstances.

And what hurt are you talking about? Her saasuma does everything short of building a temple to Jodha, and her husband was very patient and understanding with her yesterday. So what hurt?

In all this, why is she behaving, even before this latest crisis, as though Jalal is shunting her back to Amer? He gave her a choice, and the way she behaved when he came to her with the khushkhabari, he assumes that she has decided to leave. If she does not want to go, all she has to do is to wear that rich green joda in which she sang that ode to Rajput valour!!

Mainavati should be left with Maham.. along with Javeda 😆

Even today..some muslim countries don't allow people to openly practice their religion.. so maybe its a big issue.. the cvs must have done some research to show something like this..

As for Hamida.. she is usually useless..
I don't understand why her parents will be ashamed though..

She is blinded by her prejudices and has made a lot of mistakes.. But its not easy to let go of the past..

I hate how she is all alone.. with people enjoying her misery... Hamida is useless..

Thank you so much, my dear.

I agree with @blue. But he does not suggest that she return, he asks her to choose. The problem is that she does not want to go back, nor will she make the slightest attempt to meet him halfway and behave at least decently towards him What she wants is to keep talking of her ghruna for him and still go on living here. But what would he get out of such an arrangement? And why should he, an emperor, put up with this sort of thing in his own household?

It is true that they bring out the worst in each other, but of late he has at least tried to mend fences in various ways. She is still stuck in her ghruna mode.

Fantastic view point.

However Ive always felt the saying "forgive and forget" is easier said than done when you are a victim.
Lets not forget the pain Jalal inflicted on her in public during the datura incident.
That said, should Jodha now repeat the same? No. Where did her morals and manners go?
She does act like a Tantrum queen .No denying that...
But Its not that easy for her. Even if she tries to forget the Datura incident, Her ego is dented hugely with his suggestion that she returns to Amer.
They both definitely bring out the worst in each other.

Anycase it seems like a see-saw ride for the duo... From the look at the posts made now, it looks like its Jalal's turn now...

The interesting and relevant point is that her brothers feel no rancour towards Jalal.

The brothers who have barely had two interactions with the Emperor. He apologised, which was more than necessary, done and over with.
She is his WIFE! He might have many begums, she has only one husband. And from the first episode she has always said a queen does not walk behind the king, she walks with him. For a man, his wife's respect should come first.
Im only talking about this line, not his or her current behaviour.
There is absolutely and completely NO comparison.
