@bold parts : True, I didn't think the matter in that way - thanks for pointing it out.

Angry about what, Megha? About my last thread's growing and growing and growing thanks to you gals? What nonsense!

Of course Jalal's past was as bad as this and worse. They showed part of it in that Diwan-e-Aam scene with that little Hindu boy. Read the thread by smile.sara yesterday, and one other that I cannot remember the name of. It was just as bad for Elizabeth I of England, the daughter of Henry VIII.

I did not see anything funny about his hugging Mahaam. He is appalled at this unexpected attack from Jodha on his Badiammi, and he feels that he has to reassure her in the face of what he believes is a horrendous accusation. Jalal is really very emotional, remember how he reacted to the news that his Khan baba had been murdered?

As for 'blind trust' Megha, it is pointless to imitate the unthinking Jodha. How do you know what is blind trust and what is not? How would Jodha have reacted if Mynavati had been similarly accused? How does she react when Moti is accused? She says: She could never have done it. Which is what Jalal says, about a mother figure to whom he owes much, much more than Jodha does to Moti.

Megha, you must be able to think from the other's point of view if you are to become a good analyst, not behave like Jodha, or repeat what she parrots. Jalal has a long way to go before he becomes Akbar, true. So has Jodha before she becomes a sensible, supportive, caring and loving spouse. So does each of us as we work towards the best that we can each make of ourselves.

very well write up aunty, excellent..:-) I am very happy for one thing as I expected seeing the precap that jalal this time didn't go to ruqaiyaa to seek her advise, and that came out true..:-D:-D. Yaa he is enough intelligent and expert to handle his own matter. But when he becomes angry, his blind anger drives him in wrong direction. That's his fault, which he will overcome one day for sure..
one more fault is his bling trust on maham.
Maham is a shrewd lady but now she is no less than a typical Ekta type vamp..so much butchering of a historical character..:->

I feel there is a invisible battle of ego between JJ, both doesn't want to loose it ,so the despise act of both, but both has a soft corner for each other, cares for each other.:-). just don't show it..Most probably ruqu can sense that so she keeps saying to send back jodha to amer..
About precap I've no idea, but I think jodha at last got a new dress, her dupatta seemed a new one.. hope this speculation also comes out as truth..*finger crossed*..:-)
the less I talk about maharana pratap, that much better for him..

Very Descriptive, It is Aunty
"Jodha looks at the fake fakir with mild amusement, and when Jalal looks her in the eye and says Tumne mujhe pehchan liya , there is a curious undertone in the word pehchan, as if it had a double meaning : what he is now pretending to be, and what he is inside, perhaps?"
The Lat Line was a Bang On!! But Jalal suddenly goes on Tumne from Aapne?? How come, Anyways that's the not the IMPORTANAT matter when the Dibbi is there.
The Precap doesn't shows that they are in a Jalal-Jodha Battle! Talking civil. I think Jalal is like that for that Dibbi issue only, Maybe he is keeping a check on Maham Anga, Maybe, I say!
Because Jalal knows that Maham Anga was responsible for Bairam Khan's Death. And for Jalal Khan Baba was also very trustworthy but when he came to know of his misdeeds he send him to Haj!
The "Kaan Ka Kaccha" Dialougue of Jodha holds a little symbolism, The show is about "Kaise Banayegi Jodha usse Insaan?" In future Jodha changes him to not to have Blind Trust on anyone, The scene depicts the Theme of Jodha Akbar for me. Jodha has a Major role in transforming Jalal into Akbar 'The Great' didn't she, The scene showed us a glimpse of..ahh what is that now?
Coming on the Precap again, It is mindblowing I am excited for Todays' episode.
And now the NECESSARY p.s.
When will the Tiger come??😆
p.p.s And since Today I am hell bent on, I don't why?, recommending VMs to everyone, Here's for you too. Do check out these if you have Time and you haven't seen Before

In all her outlandish expressions, Maham Anga was a treat to watch! As Jalal was emotionally declaring how much she means to him & how he would do anything for the ones he loves (Jalal very much has a heart & sometimes I strongly suspect he knows just how weak it can be, and thus often repeats how he doesn't have one..) he was cradling her in his arms.
And it struck me how much it looked like a snake being cradled. Jalal doesn't know yet what his "Badi Ammi" is but the day he does, he will be horror-struck at the black cobra he was cuddling in his arms! This image was reinforced by the tiny snippet of Maham Anga doing a swivel in her rooms right after this scene. She looked like the famed mamba , right before it strikes down its prey! And strike down she did. Her poor servant & eunuch's deep belief in how close she is to the Mughal Sultanate's Wazir-E-Aalia. And Resham's horror-struck face was over the top but matched Maham Anga's, step by step! While Maham Anga was over the top & vulgar(?) in her expressions I wasn't surprised that she by expression '& tone nodded in the affirmative when she looked at Jodha. And the reason is simple-In all her insecurity ( it stings anew each time she realises that at the end of the day she is after-all, just a servant. This is her vulnerability & in her eyes, her biggest setback. But also the very reason that gives her strength to display an impetrenable facade & a Will stronger than steel!) her ruthless itntelligence & villainy; she is very vain. Too confident over the hold she has over Jalal, her assured position as Wazir-E-Aalia bu most importantly (and as you rightly said) she underestimates Jodha. Not Jodha per say, because it is the Jodha's purity & goodness of heart that she's scared of as she realises that this alone is what can truly win Jalal's heart; but of Jodha's intelligence. She simply doesn't believe that Jodha has that kind of cunning & snake-like intelligence that Maham Anga has got as a gift from Satan himself! Am sure you noticed that, she never gave an inch away to Ruqaiiya. Why? Because she well knows what Ruqaiyya is capable of if she wants to get down to it. It is this, more than anything else that makes her feel secure, secure enough to reveal to Jodha & infact, take pleasure on seeing Jodha's furious helpless & Jalal's livid diatribe, that yes! YES Jodha Begum! It was I! I who was responsible for killing the beloved foetus of Jalal!

Whenever I see Maham Anga with Jalal I see a woman who in her schizophrenic mind does care a lot about her Imperial son, might love him too & yet there is a certain resentment. And I feel the resentment exists because of all the time that was taken away from her own flesh & blood useless son, Adham Khan, and given to the future Emperor Jalal, to secure her shining future in the Mughal Sultanate that that 6 year old she cradled from arrows , is shaping today.

Jodha's scene with Moti was revealing. In all her "grihna"mode inadvertently am sure , Jodha revealed her true feelings towards Jalal, something I see her do nowadays with more consistency. She is Jalal's shubhchintak & at some deep level. , has begun to care about him. Even I was very surprised that she never displayed any emotion or even a slight feeling towards the hapless & abused 6 year old that her husband was, but I think the realisation is at a much more subconscious level Aunty, but despite not saying it, Jodha feels it. And unwittingly, displays it through word, and sometimes action. 😊

Moti Bai will be the biggest mirror for Jodha's feelings & I can't wait for the day she turns around & tells her, "Aap chahe maane ya na maane Jodha, Aap Shahenshaah Jee se adhik prem karti hain."

P. S. the precap has me sighing! I can't wait for tonight & so I shall not say one bit. These CVs I am convinced stalk these forums only to come up with promos & precaps that have us laughing, anxious or feeling pink; and then when the episode has been aired, sit afar & laugh at us! 😆

When you spoke about Jalal's double meaning Aunty, I felt that Maham Anga's "confession" to Jalal was double meaning too!
She has some heavy guilt over all the foetuses through design, that she has had aborted. And when she was standing in front of Jalal in Tuesday & Yesterday's episodes. It felt like she was washing herself off all the guilt she had in her heart.

That scene was brilliantly done by Ashwini!

Jodha's silliness at times is such, I don't know whether to laugh at it, or want to throw something at her😆. She accuses the Shahenshaah of being "Kaan ke kacche" when she should be the last person saying so!
She's exactly like a horse in a race! She sees only her goal, and her goal is only to hate Jalal.

Thus Jalal's good qualities, his softness with children (barring the MC debacle) treating her family with overt respect & the sad apology that lay in his eyes & body language she refuses to see. Because she doesn't want to see.

Sometimes I get the feeling that deep inside she does see it. But the minute that she does, she might go beyond only being a "shubhchintak" of her husband's; and might start loving him.

Shyamala lovely post...
I feel Jodha is falling in love with Jalal whereas Jalal no longer seem as obsessed with her as before...
Jodha doesnt act like a woman whose husband had passed death sentence against her...She doesnt look atall angry with him ...
She is hurt that Jalal didnt believe her not angry...
Yes I agree how she looks at angry Jalal with clear eyes...
Even Moti has started pointing it that she thinks too much abt Jalaal...
The confrontation scene was not as bad as it looked in precap...
I am sad at what they have done to MA's character ...they have deviated from history and taken a dangerous route...
But creatives should not have done this as this story was going to be interesting without this stupidity...
I just hope they show AK's death the way it was and nolonger take a different route...

Thank you, my dear Pallavi, and I agree with most of what you have said, bar the blind trust part.Do see my response to Megha above.

Everyone of us has, at one time or another, trusted a loved one blindly. In fact, contrary to the maxims the all knowing Jodha, who has little or no knowledge of real life, parrots, faith is not faith unless it is blind, just as love, any kind of love. is not love unless it asks for nothing in return.

If faith seeks proof, then why talk of faith? Do we have any proof that God exists? No,but still most of us have faith in God. It is the same thing when applied to persons. Of course, as with Jalal and Mahaam, one can make bad mistakes, but the basic principle is unaffected by that.

As for the soft corner, see my comments to Alakh above. They expand on your own take on this point.
