And Jalal doing pooja took my breaht away, AND him cupping Jodha's cheek. Too
And the last line is just so Goood!!! Now what will Jalal react to this???
Thanks for the PM and do Update soon, Curious to know what will be Jalal's reaction????

Hey guys... As most of you know I started the psychic thread 'cause I was upset. I had planned this story for a month and before I could post it, it was released as a spoiler that Jodha tries to commit suicide... I was demotivated but thanks to you guys... I'm going to continue!!😛😛😛

It's all because of your love and your faith in me... Thank you so much!!🤗
I know I said I'd release the suicide chapter tonight but I'm gonna leave it for one or two chapters ahead... I want to make a setting for AkhDa's love story first... Chapter 11 coming soon!!
Thanks again
Lotsa Love

Chapter 11

How can you see into my eyes like open doors?
Leading you down into my core where I've become so numb
Without a soul my spirit's sleeping somewhere cold
Until you find it there and lead it back home

Wake me up inside
Wake me up inside
Call my name and save me from the dark
Bid my blood to run
Before I come undone
Save me from the nothing I've become

Now that I know what I'm without
You can't just leave me
Breathe into me and make me real
Bring me to life

Bring Me to Life- Evanescence Feat. Linkin Park

'Jalal... You have fallen in love with Jodha!' His Ammijaan's words brought a torrent of emotions within him. Jalal looked down upon the sleeping Jodha; he saw her pain, her innocence, her beauty... But the next second, he remembered her anger, her stubbornness and her indifference. He opened his mouth to vehemently deny his feelings... 'Nahin Ammijaan, mein sirf...' 'Nahin Jalal' His Ammijaan interrupted him. 'If you can't accept what you feel, please don't deny it either... At least, not until you have given it some thought, or at least not until you fully understand what you truly feel. I look into your eyes and I only see your naivete. Please try to understand what is in your heart before you deny anything. And don't say you don't have a heart' Hamida was gentle yet authoritative. How did she know I was going to deny having a heart? Jalal thought. Hamida smiled gently at him, it was a smile only a mother could give her son, and all-encompassing smile full of warmth and knowledge. It was the kind of smile a mother gave her child to soothe them, to tell them that no matter what the problem, their mother had the answers and that her arms would provide them with shelter.

Jalal pondered over his mother's words. He understood that this conversation had the potential to change his life forever... He had to be careful, weigh every word... His mother looked at his expression and smiled knowingly, however when she spoke, her voice was firm... 'Don't think Jalal... I can actually hear your mind working, trying to navigate this feeling like a labyrinth of politics. But love is not political my son, it does not discriminate. Love is not dictated by the mind. It is dictated by a heart who binds itself to its soul mate long before the mind can even recognise it. Your heart has chosen its soul mate and your mind is helpless before it. Ab kuch bhi aapke bas mein nahin hai Jalal.' 'But Ammijaan, I haven't even admitted anything. How can you be so sure?'

Then Jalal asked the question that almost every child would ask their mother when entering into a union, the most important phase of their life. 'Was it like that with you and Abbajaan? Were you in love? And if you were, how did you know?' 'Oh my Jalal' Hamida replied fondly, 'You have grown up so fast, you are such a great warrior, yet there is so much you still need to learn...' Her eyes shone with wisdom and just then, a hidden tear escaped her lashes... 'These are things your father and I should have been there to teach you. You have never seen our love... But to answer your question... Yes... Your father and I loved each other very much' Jalal looked sceptical... 'But how did you know?' He asked. He was not challenging his parents' love, he was curious... It was a lesson he was eager to learn... Maybe... He thought... Maybe if I find the answers to what I am feeling... It would soothe this ache in me... 'I knew I loved your father the day I first gazed upon him after our Nikaah.' Hamida told him fondly... 'And the first time our hands touched, I knew in my heart that I could love no other.'

Jalal lifted his hand to touch Jodha's. He wondered whether he would feel something... Would lightning strike? Would the night light up? Maybe the change would be inside him... No! He thought, pulling his hand back as if he had been burned... Don't touch her! He thought... What if you don't like what happens? What if you find out what you feel and you can't control yourself? What if you begin to care?! But he didn't have a choice in the matter. The minute he pulled his hand away something stung him inside. His body yearned to touch her. His warrior blood began to act up just then... Just do it! Touch her! It said... Prove to your mother once and for all that you don't have a heart! But if you do have a heart and it's fallen for her... Then you'll know what to do, you'll have to make her yours... No! Mischievous Jalal was back with a vengeance... Haven't you messed things up enough? God his lectures were worse than Jodha's!! You hurt her you know, in the worst ways a man could hurt a woman... Touch her, only to know your feelings so your heart will guide you as to how to make it up to her... Mischievous Jalal won eventually... He seemed to be winning a lot these days... I win because I speak for your heart... He said smugly... And the fact that I win proves that your heart exists.

All the while, Hamida waited patiently while an internal struggle raged within her son... She knew she had to be patient, to give him time to adjust... He was like a little kitten, unsure about whether the person in front of them could be trusted, so it hesitated, poked and then ran away. Then it peeked from behind its little shelter until it knew it was safe to try and poke again. She saw him retreat into the shelter of his mind so she waited for him to see the coast was clear. Then, without warning, he reached out his hand deftly... And tried again...

Jalal had been right... The minute he touched Jodha's hand lightning struck... But not outside under the night sky the lightning seemed to have struck inside him. His entire body felt like a raw nerve, and he felt as if his whole body was filling with a soothing warmth and light. He didn't realise that a person could only feel like this in two instances, one when his heart found God, and two when a soul recognised its mate. Hamida sent a silent prayer of thanks to Allah, but she was not done yet. While Jalal was marvelling at the feeling of Jodha's hand within his... Hamida decided to help him clear any doubt about his feelings. 'Close your eyes son. It is said that the first person you see when you close your eyes is the person you love. You will see yourself spending the rest of your life with that person... It will be exciting and exhilarating, and then your soul will finally be at peace. You won't be alone anymore my child, let your heart guide you out of the darkness of your loneliness...'

Jalal made sure Jodha's hand was still entwined with his... He closed his eyes... He hadn't expected to see anything but all of a sudden... He saw her... He saw her in the palanquin in Amer when his eyes first captured a glimpse of her beauty, he saw her confused reflection in the lake when she saw him in the water, he saw the tears in her eyes when she realised she was marrying him, he saw her veil lift as she ran away from the Muh Dikhaai, he began to see Jodha in all her forms... It was as if she had been engraved into his subconscious without his knowledge... Into his mind... His heart. He opened his eyes abruptly. He was afraid...

'Don't fret Jalal' His mother told him calmly. Hamida was so proud that despite the fact that she had never been with Jalal through the most important phases of his life, his first words, his first steps, his first horse ride... She gave thanks to the Almighty that she was the one who had the opportunity to guide him through the most important step of all. The only thing missing from this beautiful moment was her Shehensha Humayun. He's an image of his father... She teared.

'Now the final step...' She said, brushing the traitorous tear away. 'Say that you love her... Out loud...' Jalal turned to her then. It were as if the little kitten had been left out in the rain. He looked so lost... A look of pure undulated fear and confusion... 'So far everything I've said has been true...' Hamida reasoned with him, 'Trust me son, just this once' she beseeched him... 'Say it out loud... Aap ka mann halka hojayega... You'll finally feel the peace and love that you have craved for your whole life...'

'I love Jodha' The minute those words left Jalal's lips it were as if all of his struggles had finally come to an end. He thought saying those words would be harder than any battle he fought but he was wrong. Now he had admitted his feelings he wanted to keep feeling as happy as he did now... He wanted to say it over and over... Shout it from the rooftops if he could! After a lifetime in the wild and untameable ocean he had finally found the shore... And that shore was none other than a wild and untameable woman...Jodha...

You have swan the entire ocean... Do not drown now at the shore...' - Anonymous

Hamida decided to leave Jalal to his musings then, to let these newfound feelings sink in... She had just got up when the most unbelievable thing happened, something that she would never forget as long as she lived, her son hugged her!! Jalal put his arms around her and they both teared up... 'Thank you Ammijaan!' He cried... 'For the first time in my life I don't feel like an orphan. I feel like I've not only found my love but my mother as well. I feel like I'm finally worthy of feeling what love is like... But...' His voice broke... 'But what Jalal?' Hamida had been so happy about finally bridging a gap with her son. She ought to have known that her happiness could not last long. She finally felt that her son had returned to her, but he looked so broken she just hoped that she could help him... 'Ammijaan I've hurt her so much!' Jalal cried. His eyes shone with tears and his soft lips began to quiver. He thought about the assault and his head fell in shame...'Ammijaan I can't even face myself! I'm so despicable I can't even bring myself to say how horribly I've treated her! She'll never forgive me! She'll never want to be with a monster like me!' Jalal was hysterical now. 'Shhh' Hamida soothed him. She took his head in her lap and cuddled him affectionately. 'Jalal there's something you need to know about love. It's guided by your heart. Your head may tell you that she'll never forgive you but your heart has already formed a bond with hers, now that you know about this bond it is up to you to make sure she realises it too. Your heart will guide you to her my child. Your heart will show you how to earn her love and forgiveness'

'But what if she doesn't love me back?' Jalal quivered... 'Who would?!' 'Once she sees this side of you, she surely will!' Hamida assured him. You have become a person worthy of love, but Jalal, Jodha is an extraordinary woman who deserves an extraordinary love. You will have to prove yourself to her... Failure is never an option for a Shehensha' She smirked... She thought by appealing to the Shehensha in him she would bolster his spirits... But she could still see doubt in his eyes. 'I won't lie to you my son, it is going to be tough' She said.

'Tell me something...' Hamida asked him finally, 'when you realised that you fell in love with her... Did you wonder at that point whether she will love you back?' 'No I hadn't even thought of that.' Jalal replied, wondering where this conversation was leading. 'I want you to realise that when you start feeling for someone, you don't fall in love with them on the condition that they love you back. True love only wishes for their love's happiness. Try to understand her little joys, where her happiness lies, try to make her happiness your own. Just a smile on her face will bring you peace. Forget the big things like making her love you. Just find a way to make her happy, trust me, once you see the woman you love happy, you'll be happy in turn.' And with those wise words, the Malika-E-Azam kissed her son's forehead and left him to his thoughts as he went back to kneel at his wife's... No, not just his wife... His love'sbedside.

I'm dying to catch my breath
Oh, why don't I ever learn?
I've lost all my trust
Though I've surely tried to turn it around

Can you still see the heart of me?
All my agony fades away
When you hold me in your embrace

Don't tear me down for all I need
Make my heart a better place
Give me something I can believe

I'm here on the edge again
I wish I could let it go
I know that I'm only one step away
From turning it around

I tried many times but nothing was real
Make it fade away, don't break me down
I want to believe that this is for real
Save me from my fear, don't tear me down

All I need- Within Temptation
