Jalal's government was known to be a petticoat government...he was under the influence of maham... in initial years of his regime he was a token shehensha...these kings always had people around them who massaged their imperial egos...in the show, maham and ruk keep telling jalal 'oh! You are shehensha...how could any one talk to you like that...?how can anyone refuse to listen to you...' ?...Not once, he is being told you should not do this because it's wrong...it's unjust...

Jalal was about to behead jodha..it makes us cringe because from 21st century it's does look brutal..but, back then I have very little doubts that jalal would have acted otherwise...a woman comes...looks him in the eye...and, says...yes!! I have killed your unborn...he doesn't know jodha at all...he doesn't know that this woman has put aside her personal loss...and, asked her father to be practical...she got married to save her brothers and amer...yesterday, she again took it upon herself to save brothers and amer...the day jalal realises how wrong he was about jodha...he will be more determined than ever to redeem himself...

Well said👏

I love the way Jodha answered Jalal!!!

I'm looking forward to how Jalal will react to this.

There were reasonable caveats even then, and all that I am saying is that it looked a bit "juvenile" to me. Whatever allowances we make for Jalal's age or those times he lived in or even his historically notorious temper, it did seem over the top and very Ekta-ish rather than even Jalal-ish!

Ruk says it doesn't suit an emperor to kill a woman...though, the same woman instigated jalal to behead one of his begum and that begum's lover...so, don't know why she said so yesterday..

Ekta-ish..yes, mansi...I agree with that...it is too dramatic...but, we all know how Ekta is...no option but take all this with a pinch of salt...😉

Thanks dear...🤗

I love the way Jodha answered Jalal!!!

Sach mein...she reminds him of each and every incident where she felt wronged and insulted...and, I think jalal was speechless...Lolz, a world record was made..

I'm looking forward to how Jalal will react to this.

Me too...😉

Mansi you are spot on and couldn't agree more! Am also beginning to be disappointed in the character of jalal as he's being shown as on dumd king. And those two men by him(not sure of their name think its Phir Mohammed) do they even know sword fighting in the first place?I know Jodha's brothers were there so that Jalal's perception on them changes but do they have to show Jalal so weak without his army?
Hope he doesn't come into conclusion in the case of Salima as he did with Jodha.Man, give him some brain for god sake.

Alakh, did you see the two and a half fat and unfit guys Jalal had as his fighting force? They just stood outside his tent ka door, they had to stand upright so that they would not fall over as a result of their paunches, and they did the best dandiya, standing to "Attention" I have ever seen. Is this the famous Mughal Army ka Commanders?😆😆😆😆

Before sending these jokers to fight wars, Akbar should send his men to a boot camp to get fit! Even little Rahim can kick their asses!😆
Actually, I was okay with the whole Jalal going to behead Jodha...for one, even though Ekta has twisted Akbar in the most unique way imaginable, let us not forget, he is afterall a 16th Century Emperor...I mean, if King Henry (Henry, wasn't it?) could behead half a dozen of his wife, sitting in a Western Country, why can't Akbar pretend to chop off his sullen faced, shockingly rude wife, in medival India?
And frankly, Jodha has it coming in more than one ways! I find her character to be far more inexplicable than Akbar, even with his all his rage and screaming and shouting! She acts way too superior and snooty...and argues too much with her husband...this was simply impossible in the era, she lives in!😕 Women could barely look at their husbands straight in their eyes, leave aside insulting them so blatantly and counter-arguing with them on every occassion! And bloody hell (pardon my language)...here is it no garden-variety husband we are talking about...he is the Emperor of India...the most powerful man in the land...and Jodha treats him like he is nothing!
Regarding the apology...I don't know!Confused I think Akbar will and should apologize to Jodha, but he should definitely NOT grovel in front of her. It is bad enough to see him screaming like a Banshee on her (totally undignified...why can't he be more cold and menacing...)it would be worse to see him running after her saying sorry! She has too much attitude as it is! (Yes, I am NOT a Jodha Fan!😆)
PS : They should stop the Bath-tub scenes...even if it helps perk up the TRP's...Akbar for some reason reminds me of a waxed SRK prattling in the Lux Soap Advertisement, surrounded by the likes of Juhi Chawla and Karishma Kapoor! Creepy!Confused😆

Skanda for me the episode was a flop...First Jalal puts sword on Jodha's neck to chop it off and few minutes after he is complaining to Jodha that did she lie to him?
Again Jodha is a fiery woman...whose honour is in shreads , her family is in danger but I see no anger in her eyes towards Jalaal...She is a complaining wife and doesn't act like a wronged wife ...I hope she acts tough today.
Again Ruku to whom it didn't matter that a pregnant woman is going to be killed , also Moti's innocence didnot matter , suddenly develops conscience and stops Jalal from killing Jodha...
And plz dont be surprised that Jalal faced near defeat during war...and his army was missing...Mughal emperors have faced much worse situations than this.

Poppy and Ela:
That's just it. We are all reasonably intelligent people and if Jalal was shown to be a hot-tempered man, twisted by a difficult childhood, we understand that may be part of his psychological make up. We all know a hot temper when we see one.
But we all also sense very well when something is either over-the-top or does not add up. In the name of "Indian TV serials" we cannot be asked to swallow things that seem incredibly foolish, ill-thought out or poorly executed.
We all wouldn't be having so much debate if all we were seeing was the particular quirks of a personality which we can accept as part of being human. Everyone has faults, imperfections, reasons for what they do etc etc.
But we sure as hell know when something is being taken to an "incredible extreme". Okay, we made some excuses for the way Jalal behaved last week, but how much more are we going to take before we say "This doesn't even sound like a genuine human being any more?"

Ok with the war ! Jalal is not an ass to have a tent in middle of the amer boys ! Although he was warned for a ruler of India - his ego Is enough to let him feel that four men can't do any harm to him ! His main motive was to know of their mind games if any Gainst him than the fear of getting attacked ! As simple as it is for the price of any king !

About the untimely attack ! Jalal was dumb to not be ready , but again ! There are MANY kings in history who have lost the smallest and biggest battles due to thinkin that the enemy will NEVER attack them breaking rules of time ! Prithviraj and maharana pratap have faulted due to such decisions ! When traitors like ghazni attacked them in night / rest time ! So it's like a step for every king to go through to be more is smart the next time ! And no I'm not totally defending Jalal ! I'm just saying that there are many such brave kings who have underestimated enemies by giving them doubt of trust ! And yahan toh they were Rajputs who never do this cowardly act ! I wonder what the cvs thought when showing them such traitors !

Coming to Sword scene it was a maha lame attempt by cvs in the first go ! Because I think both aides of protestors will go mad with this ! Mughals for making Jalal such a psycho for raisin hand on a woman that too sword one ... And Rajputs for making a Rajput girl telling her enemy to kill her ! :@ they will again cry that their woman will do Jauhar but not let an enemy kill them like this with open will 😡This sword scene is the main kaanta for me ! :/ !
Somehow both the cultures were tampered in this and the CVs never learn ! 😡

I'm just waiting for this track to get over ! Unfortunately it is a daily soap rule that for a misunderstanding the couple has to leve their brains or tongue aside n no Akdha are not exempted ! 😆 even movie ka Jalal who had a more bigger heart didn't think once before accusing jodha for adultery ! So overall drama ke liye all need to go dumb ! 🥱
