I am really disgusted the way mughals have been portrayed in this drama its all a lie and nothing in this show about mughals or even rajputs is true, the scene when the girl said the stole would suit a mughal princess more and jodha gets offended and showed her hatred towards mughals is not making any sense at all. Here;s the truth.

First of all Akbar himself was born in a rajput family, and in his rule he supported secularism he gave respect to each and every religion, the biggest proof is many of his courtiers were hindu rajputs and some of his really trusted ones were hindu too and biggest of all his marriage to jodha, and after marrying her he become a half hindu rajput and half muslim Mughal king,he followed all the hindu rituals and got even more dedicated to hindu traditions and customs. He introduced the religion Din-i-Ilahi"IIahi stands for god and deen means religion, which means people are free to follow any god or religion and all the rights will be given to them. This step of his made him rule the hearts of millions of hindus specially rajputs who first didn't accept Akbar as their king as they were insecure that a muslim king will definitely get against them one day and will implement Islam on them by force but nothing like that happen, however millions of muslims rebelled against Akbar for implementing the rules of new religion Din-i-Ilahi and many of them were put to death by Akbar for going against their king.

Akbar's age is said to be a golden one, because of his support to secularism he turned enemies into friends.Trade,Culture, art and architecture flourished in his rule.

Here are more facts about Akbar:

Akbar (Hindustani: [?kb?r]; 14 October 1542 ' 27 October 1605), known as Akbar the Great, was Mughal Emperor from 1556 until his death. He was the third and greatest ruler of the Mughal Dynasty in India. Akbar succeeded his father, Humayun, under a regent, Bairam Khan, who helped the young emperor expand and consolidate Mughal domains in India. A strong personality and a successful general, Akbar gradually enlarged the Mughal Empire to include nearly all of the Indian Subcontinent north of the Godavari river. His power and influence, however, extended over the entire country because of Mughal military, political, cultural, and economic dominance. To unify the vast Mughal state, Akbar established a centralised system of administration throughout his empire and adopted a policy of conciliating conquered rulers through marriage and diplomacy. In order to preserve peace and order in a religiously and culturally diverse empire, he adopted policies that won him the support of his non-Muslim subjects. Eschewing tribal bonds and Islamic state identity, Akbar strived to unite far-flung lands of his realm through loyalty, expressed through a Persianised culture, to himself as an emperor who had near-divine status.

Mughal India developed a strong and stable economy, leading to commercial expansion and greater patronage of culture. Akbar himself was a great patron of art and culture. He was fond of literature, and created a library of over 24,000 volumes written in Sanskrit, Hindustani, Persian, Greek, Latin, Arabic and Kashmiri, staffed by many scholars, translators, artists, calligraphers, scribes, bookbinders and readers. Holy men of many faiths, poets, architects and artisans adorned his court from all over the world for study and discussion. Akbar's courts at Delhi, Agra, and Fatehpur Sikri became centers of the arts, letters, and learning. Perso-Islamic culture began to merge and blend with indigenous Indian elements, and a distinct Indo-Persian culture emerged characterised by Mughal style arts, painting, and architecture. Disillusioned with orthodox Islam and perhaps hoping to bring about religious unity within his empire, Akbar promulgated Din-i-Ilahi, a syncretic creed derived from Islam, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, and Christianity. A simple, monotheistic cult, tolerant in outlook, it centered on Akbar as a prophet, for which he drew the ire of the ulema and orthodox Muslims.

Akbar's reign significantly influenced the course of Indian history. During his rule, the Mughal empire tripled in size and wealth. He created a powerful military system and instituted effective political and social reforms. By abolishing the sectarian tax on non-Muslims and appointing them to high civil and military posts, he was the first Mughal ruler to win the trust and loyalty of the native subjects. He had Sanskrit literature translated, participated in native festivals, realizing that a stable empire depended on the co-operation and good-will of his subjects. Thus, the foundations for a multicultural empire under Mughal rule was laid during his reign. Akbar was succeeded as emperor by his son, Jahangir.

Early life:

Akbar was born on 14 October 1542 (the fourth day of Rajab, 949 AH), at the Rajput Fortress of Umerkot in Sindh (in modern day Pakistan), where Emperor Humayun and his recently wedded wife, Hamida Banu Begum, daughter of Shaikh Ali Akbar Jami, a Persian,[8] were taking refuge. After the capture of Kabul by Humayun, Badruddin's circumcision ceremony was held and his date of birth and name were changed to throw off evil sorcerers[9] and he was renamed Jalal-ud-din Muhammad by Humayun, a name which he had heard in his dream at Lahore.

Humayun had been driven into exile in Persia by the Pashtun leader Sher Shah Suri.[10] Akbar did not go to Persia with his parents, but was brought up in Kabul by the extended family of uncles (Mirza Askari and Mirza Kamran) and his aunts, in particular Mirza Kamran's wife. He spent his youth learning to hunt, run, and fight, made him a daring, powerful and a brave warrior, but he never learned to read or write. This, however, did not hinder his search for knowledge as it is said always when he retired in the evening he would have someone read.[11][better source needed] In November 1551, Akbar married his first cousin, Ruqaiya Sultan Begum at Jalandhar.[12] Princess Ruqaiya was the only daughter of his paternal uncle, Hindal Mirza, and was his first wife and chief consort.[13]

Following the chaos over the succession of Sher Shah Suri's son Islam Shah, Humayun reconquered Delhi in 1555, leading an army partly provided by his Persian ally Tahmasp I. A few months later, Humayun died. Akbar's guardian, Bairam Khan concealed the death in order to prepare for Akbar's succession. Akbar succeeded Humayun on 14 February 1556, while in the midst of a war against Sikandar Shah to reclaim the Mughal throne. In Kalanaur, Punjab, the 13-year-old Akbar was enthroned by Bairam Khan on a newly constructed platform, which still stands.[14][dead link][15] He was proclaimed Shahanshah (Persian for "King of Kings"). Bairam Khan ruled on his behalf until he came of age.[16]

I can understand what you are trying to prove. 😊
But no one actually knows the truth.
Unless someone has livd in the era and lives today to tell the tale. 😵
So I am not going to go with your view OR against your view.
I am just enjoying the show. 😳 (And AkhDa)
I mean many people and sites/sources say that Akbar was a great king and married a princess name Jodha.
Some say Jodha didn't exist. Some say Akbar was cruel and heartless. 😭
But the truth is NO one knows the truth for sure.
This show isnt meant to harrass anyone or offend anyone as they show the message before telecast.
Its just a daily soap so Im just going to enjoy it.

Although I agree that some dialogues spoken by both the Mughals and Rajputs are phrased a bit offensively. They could have protrayed their emotions differently.

So hey don't hold a grudge against me. 😆
Im just sharing my opinion.
And thats what you did.

Peace Everyone!!

Love Andy. XOXO

The truth is that history even the western world accepts the greatness of mughals, specially Akbar, for example Tipu Sultaan even though he was defeated by British but even they respected his values and his ways. You say you dont know the truth, than probably you will say that too although taj mahal was built by Mughal emperor shah jahan but who knows the truthwe didn't watch him or his men constructing taj mahal😕Indains got their independence on 15th August but how will you prove were you alive to witness that it was 15th August when India got independence?

P.S.Grudge is a serious word there was no need to get that much defensive you have taken this too far and the peace lectures were really not needed as well.

Dude, he did grow into secular ruler.. but he had his moments of cruelty too. There are many things that fall under the category of 'cruelty'. To killing of Hemu under the inflence of Bairam Khan, the killing of his foster brother, etc.

There might be several things in the show that are out of line. I agree to that though..but look at his ancestors and descendants.. what the hell did they do? Timur, Aurangazeb, Shah Jahan..

I suggest before copy pasting from the internet, read books and get you facts straight.

Yes actually. No one knows the truth about Taj Mahal. Except that we have had people living in the Independence of India. And know the truth of that

You wouldn't have written that if you have read carefully what I wrote, when did I say he was a saint?😕all the muslim kings including akbar were not saints, and I have also written that he killed many muslims too which include many of his own courtiers .

I suggest you to dont jump to the conclusions before reading the whole content and dont get too impatient in retorting back when you read something you dont like.

I dont even know why I am getting myself into this useless arguments with you all, when its clear that hindus have always portrayed muslims as cruel and themselves as the most innocent nation of the world.

Im sorry this may seem irrelevant but I am a Muslim. And No i disagree. Hindu's have not always potrayed muslims as cruel and do not accept themselves as the most innocent.
Please do not bash a religion as a whole for what only some people of that religion perform.
If soemone said Muslims are terrorists would you believe that?
i don't think so...
Oh and Hinduism is a religion not a nation. 😆
