First of all yesterday it was Jodha , not Akbar who showed her hatred towards mughals, and how was Jodha's feelings towards mughals before her marriage to Akbar, sorry to say no account has found in history on it cause in those era, women were not given so much liberty to express their feelings in anything..and above all the name 'Jodha' ever did exists or not in history a big question till now..??

and when have you found that Akbar is showing his hatred towards Rajputs on religion???The only reason of his anger is that Rajputs are denying to obey him as Shahensa-e-Hindustan without a battle.. I think it was only Maham Anga and Bairam khan till now who only showed some negetive attitudes towards hindu and how were there views in real toward other religions, nobody knows actually..In the show they are right now portraying the age of akbar when he even has not got rid of Bairam Khan., so before he marry a hindu princess, includes Rajputs in his court and becomes Akbar the great, there is a long way still to go..

P.S. One more thing Akbar was a secular king..He never forced anyone to change his/her religion. His all hindu wives followed their own religion through out their lives..

about your p.s that's what I was saying.
and in JA the cvs are giving wrong impressions about muslims.

Akbar's hindu wife did change her religion when she married him...but that was only for the Nikah Ceremony.
Till date, there is a Krishna Temple in Fatehpur Sikri...which is located right in the centre of the Zenana, that used to house Akbar's Harem. That itself proves that he let his Hindu wife practice her own religion. Else, why on earth would there be a hindu temple in a Muslim King's palace?
Not just Akbar, even Jahangir's hindu wife was allowed to follow her own religion...it is only after him, that radical Islam started creeping into Mughal Rule and with Aurangzeb, it went totally militant and extremely communal.
But Akbar, is without doubt, the most secular Mughal King to have lived till date.
Ofcourse, he killed people...he practiced violence, he plundered neighbouring kindoms to consoldate his rule...but so did Chandragupta Maurya and Ashoka. That is what Kings and Rulers were meant to do...it seems to be a cruel concept in the modern world, but this is the late 15th and 16th century we are talking about. It was supposed to be a King's duty to enlarge the boundaries of his kinddom and quell any kind of uprising against him, either by diplomacy or by violence.
Also remember, that the wonderful architecture we see today in many parts of Northern India...the cuisine for which India is renowned globally, the poetry which is still quoted and recited by people, the art and craft, the very basic principals of governance and administration, is all thanks to the Mughals.
I think, one can safely say, that till Aurangzeb, the Mughals were doing fine...and Akbar's rule was truly India's second Golden Age after Chandragupta Maurya's rule.
PS: The show is NOT anti-muslim...if anything it is anti-hindu! They are forever showing the Rajput Community as plotting and planning against the Mughals...when all they did was defend themselves. Their wrongful or exaggerated portryal of Akbar has nothing whatsoever to do with religion...it is simply not well-researched in the first place and they are obviously portaying him in a certain way for TRP's! But I highly doubt, anyone in Balaji Telefilms or Zee Television has a bone to pick with the Muslim Community!

^^ How are cvs giving wrong impression about muslims? Are Maham Anga and Bairam Khan representative of the entire population? No, they are not.

why are you only seeing the negative and making an issue out if it ...if there is negative like MA and adham khan who force people to change religion or not allow practising other religions ,then in the same context there is Hamida Banu who is shown as tolerant towards everyone and respects them...Jalal has not yet become Akbar...there is still a long way to go...this is not a book or a movie but a daily show ..u cannot expect his attributes to be shown with the first month of the show...even now Jalal is shown as a warrior who wants to win and what is wrong in it...he was a king who fought wars and won it ...and till now they have not shown Jalal forcing anyone to convert or disrespecting them ...his issue with rajputs are not religious

and Jodha's issue with Mughals is not religious but the atrocities of the army which she blames on the king ...

what you said about Akbar is true but this young boy in the show is yet to become Akbar..i suggest you give it some more time ...

and i agree Ekta has taken certain creative liberties in order to spice up the love story but then she has stated that it is fiction not history that she is narrating hence we should take it with a pinch of salt...i am sure the show has no intention of hurting anyone's sentiments

Go watch the show first, and then come and jump in outrage. The show has never, except for maybe the first episode portrayed Jalal as cruel. Rather, he is portrayed as man both capable of extreme sensitivity and bitterness. He is portrayed as a realistic man, and not a mythical figure of virtue. And this show is about the journey of the boy-king to a mature emperor. Even if there is a little hint of cruelty in him, that will be obliterated during the course of the show.
