Hello Piu, you are on a role. You went by a little to fast. The next time I log onto Jodha Akbar Forum, you are wrapping up Midsummer Night's Dream. It feels like one of those bittersweet endings. I have already read chapters 10-13, and while reading I make notes of what I want to say. I am going to quickly insert the points I had for those chapters:
Hahaha😆😆😆I was dear Virgo..Since it was a weekend,I quickly wanted to finish things really soon..I know it was like roller coaster ride and I hope you enjoyed it too🤔😆😆
BTW I just love your notes..Thanks for such a detailed review 😳
{As a side note from your previous response: Draupati also had a tragic story. How can we forget mahabarat. I found Mahabarat difficult to read although I watched the series. I need to find a copy that I can read comfortable and be able to perceive with my outlook. I will view the links, I have book marked them. And please do share some more, I love to read about all this!}
{I will have to agree to this MB is really difficult to read and I myself am struggling to find a good continuous approach. However I am loving the Palace of illusions...BTW I wrote a small Lakshman Urmila OS and it has some interesting stories about them from the folk tales..
A NEW BEGINNING!!
Chapter 11-13:
~"The king was gone along with the traitors, the future of Agra still alive but broken and fragile like a dry leaf struggling to flourish in the desert storm." Beautifully well written!
Thanks so much😳
~She feels guilt. . . root cause due to adham. How will Jalal help her rid of this? I bet Jalal also feels the same that his misunderstanding led to this.
Yes Virgo at this point both are feeling GUilty .However they were merely prey to circumstances
~Shareefudin was a wonerful person? Jodha finds him to be a nice human? So you will not make him into a villain in your story?
ahhaha😆😆😆Aren't there enough villains in this storySo I spared Shareefuddin this time😛
~Gosh, I knew they were not going to easily pursue their love story. Will Jalal find Jodha's letter written about the night when two souls united and expressed their love? He just kept reading letters about Suryabhan. I hope he does not go hunting for Suryabhan! I am glad he did not write to Jodha that you can stay as long as you want instead he said please wait for me as I will come get you as soon as possible.
Yes You were correct he did go hunting for Suryabhan..My Jalaal here shares a long history of love and attraction with Jodha so he is emotional and just realises how he must have throttled her in an unwanted marriage. If you see he really became responsible after all his so called support system si withdrawn. He becomes a true human being ,a true and responsible king!!
~"Her face started growing pale and her cheeks became even bonier .Her sunken eyes kept on staring at the fort gates often hallucinating him often. The dark patches beneath her deprived eyes became more and more pronounced. Almost two months passed in her loneliness. She grew weaker every passing day when she could barely even mange to catch her breath. Terrible anorexia and aversion to food developed and the only respite was the jasmine fragrance which she sprinkled on herself making her feel better .But her muscles grew weaker." <-- This is quite graphic This made me feel sad. How come no one sent this news to Jalal? Did her mother not notice that she has fallen in love with her husband? No one in the palace cared about Jodha's health?
Aww I know it was quite graphic and but Yes at the palace peole quite seemed to be oblivious about her plight
~I appreciated how Jalal humbly asked for forgiveness from Amer and its people and announced his plans of keeping Amer secure until Kartikya was of age.
As I have already mentioned..Jalaal outgrew himself without his support system in his process to become a true and responsible king!!
~Jodha is pregnant! Jalal does not remember their night of free abandon. The night when two souls became one?.. . .he just has flash back of a supposed dream he must have has?! I am scared, what if he questions Jodha's faith? What if he does not believe that is his child? What if he accuses her to have a dalliance with Suryabhan behind her back. Will that letter come in handy? Will Jalal find it sooner or later?
~Does Jodha still see Meera andGovind and think of Suryabhan? If she has no feelings why not set them free? Jalal sent them to her maayka for Jodha's sake. He must be shocked and disheartened.
~Why did he call her to the other palace? I am also concerned like Moti Bai.
~ Jodha is so excited to be the mother of Jalal's child, to make him a father, to give him joy! I am bracing myself for some tearful episodes. I do not want to be depressed like poor Jalal.

Before I could come into terms with these chapters, you have posted a few more chapters and an epilogue! It was definitely a readers treat and a happy weekend. But why so soon? I had a gut feeling that Jalal may bring Suryabhan back! I was worried that Jalal may turn into a scorned lover, psycho and angry but you saved our hearts and the character. Also, Suryabhan left on a not so bad note. You salvaged his character when he said, "Jalal will take good care of you Jodha".
hahahhah Yes..I guess I have closed all the questions and loops you raised in your comment and I hope each and every character was justified .
After the revelation and how Jodha ran her way to Jalal I wanted more. I thought you would show Jalal's point of view after he finds out Jodha truly loved him. I wanted to see more of them as a couple in true sense before the leap, children and epilogue. Are you going to continue afterwards or is the The End?
Aww I really do not have any plans to continue ,the story was supposed to end there.I know the couple thing was lacking BUT I seriously hope I can come up with anything else😆😆 later in some other fiction😳
Summer holidays are over, back to studying and reading, and Midsummer Night's Dream is over. You stayed true to the title, it ended with summer. I feel all sad now. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your story as much as I do watching Jodha Akbar. I stuck to your story until the end. I am also glad that as a writer you also stayed with us until the end. . . Will you be writing more Jodha Akbar stories? I will definitely try and follow your other work on India-Forums!
Lots of Love & Happy Writing,
~Virgo
