Never mind, now that you have removed the initial traces, we shall proceed to forget this character.

As a change of flavour, see what Komal has dug up and put in my last thread. It is one of my favourite photos. I was sitting outside the conference venue at the Taj Coromandel after my speech was over, this was in March 2004, and laughing up at the photographer, and the next morning, this article was in The Hindu. It is rather nice, don't you agree?

My dear, I am delighted that this old post of mine, my first in this forum, brought you so much pleasure. I fell in love with Rajat almost at first sight, and I am far fonder of him now. My son is 28, and I am very proud of him. So am I of Rajat. He will go very far, mark my words. And in this role, he has got an incomparable showcase. That is his good fortune and ours.

I am glad you broke your maunvrat and wrote to me at long last! I hope to hear more from you whenever you feel like it.

DEAR SHAYAMLA AUNTY,

I am a silent reader, I always read your post and enjoy it... I have no words of expression most of the time...Your post are beyond my expectation and U surprise me every time with your analysis
Today!!!! I am crying with this article ... I love it... I agree with every single word in this chapter... Rajat is a extra ordinary actor... and I will not hesitate to compare him to Dilip kumar or Amitabh bachhan... I love Rajat's acting... In TV serial...every day one episode... with that many dialogues... he has proved himself already...he is the best actor in TV industries...
Thank you for this article!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!👏👏👏

Finally saw your pic Aunty. Was waiting for a little break from work to have a look.Rather nice ???? Nice is not at all a suitable word for it.It's what we call in the present lingo "AWESOME".It is such a natural shot .Looks like the photographer has captured the real you.Ready to take on the world with positivity, a smile and an unputdownable sense of humour. And the colours of your sari are so vibrant.Loved your look from head to toe.The footwear is as elegant as the sari .What can I call you,THE DIPLOMAT DIVA😊.And where was I all this time ,having missed you ?
P.S.Thanks Komal dear for digging out this treasure. You"re such a cutie😊

"Believe me, it calls for a lot, sometimes compromises and most often, cool strategies You have to show multi-streak attitude " ruthlessness, accommodativeness, aggressiveness ... ," said an articulate Shyamala Balasubramanian Cowsik, Ambassador of India, The Hague, Netherlands

Couldn't have agreed more Aunty.👏👏

I loved these comments, Ritu, for I can make out that they are from the heart. As for where I was all this time, what matters is that I am here now for you!

👏 That was an amazing read Aunty!
Ignoring the historical accuracy, Akbar of this show is one of the well written, directed and acted characters of Indian Television. His arrogance, excitement, pride, confusion, happiness, rage and every other emotion is well played. Their take on an emperor is good. It has a very raw feel to it as in the prime emotions are laid bare. There are no masks.

Thank you, my dear Jan. I am astonished at the renewed popularity of this nearly 6 month old post, and pleased too, of course. It still holds up well.
