The dagger scene was nicely done mostly the war of wits again ! The way jodha smartly reminds him of her duties and before tht Jalal reminding her ! 🤣
Rajat was fab in tht anger in the beginning !

Lol the way he was laughing being amused how she defeated him 😆
And 🤣 poor sharif and his confused group how Jalal was laughing on being injured by his wife !

It was good to see Moti again reminding her to do it for the sake of duty , but Jalal was acting it out was a total shocker ! 😲

I still was confused when Jalal cut open his bandage ! I was like he is just showing off how he can hold a sword with pain but when he fisted it followed by Moti telling jodha the trick I was finally understanding this was his facade ! 🤣
He not only made her feed him but that too Naan Bhej! 😆 I knew somewhere this non veg thing would come as a cliche but so soon !
And again it's good to show jodha sensible since in those days wives did any bidding for their husband like it or not ! And it wasn't like he forced her to eat it or ordered her ! Good job jodha for showing him you are a human despite hating him ! 👏

Both AkDha looked gorgeous but Jalal in the dinner scene was something special !

Loved the way Hamida welcomed her and was very honest on explaining the harem situations ! Good she told jodha he fulfills all wishes he can !

Precap: jodha ! It's predictable Jalal will be angry ! He would have laughed off had this been in private but jodha singing the Mughal enemies praises in court and then calling Jalal a cheat indirectly will awaken more of his hatred ! 😡

Very good episode...the show really is on a streak this week...lol I wonder how long such good epis will last.

The scene in Jodha's tent was deffo the highlight of the epi...Jalal summons her to the darbar to sing but she refuses, so he storms into her tent all angry but Jodha manages to outsmart him there giving him the reasoning that no religion permits the open humiliation of a wife like this by summoning her like a daasi...lol...Jalal's amusement there ki he came there to complain and instead she's reversing the whole thing on him and blaming HIM? haha...

Jalal's playing mind games with her now...telling her he enjoys the fear in her eyes...then later telling her that she doesn't need the dagger for protection, he will protect her from all harm...but who will protect her from HIM? lol...Paridhi and Rajat were excellent in this scene👍🏼

The courtiers are left confused as to why Jalal seems AMUSED by Jodha's knife attack on him cuz he exits her tent all smiling...lol

Second interesting bit was in the morning...where Jalal the nautanki pretends like he can't lift the piece of meat during breakfast so Jodha helps him with it...I was a bit surprised to see Jodha touching meat...aren't Hindus vegetarians? Especially from that era? Anyways so Jalal pulls his tricks and gets Jodha to feed him...Jodha and Motibai only find this out later.


I also liked the last half with Jodha's welcome into the Agra palace by Jalal's mother...very sweetly done...and she got a new outfit...good for her...lol...there's been a dramatic improvement in the costumes this week...except Jalal seems to be stuck in that same turban since ages.

Harem politics will start in full flow soon...Jodha kinda got her first taste of it today...I guess tomorrow will have the first Jodha-Ruqaiyya clash and Jodha singing the Rajput song in the darbaar, thus humiliating Jalal...lol

Paridhi is doing a fab job of portraying the dignified Queen.

@ anu lol ! That's what I thought ! They didn't show jodha hesitant to touch meat !
But then the royal Rajputs and also those 5 star restaurants in Rajasthan palaces are famous for their meat dishes ! That's what I read on main forum too ! So maybe jodha is from that clan ? 🤔

And aaah I forgot to mention tht protection dialogue ! He is SUCH a twisted guy ! 😆 first he tells her he will protect her enough like a loyal hubby and then his famous grin with who will save you from me ! 🤣

I liked jodha equally today since she didn't do anything hyper ! She showed her royal dignity today at its best by understanding she needs to keep her hate aside in front of all and do her duties now ! But again the precap let's see ! 😉

ok jumping in with my bits.Kshatriyas had Bali pratha...In which animal sacrifices were offered to the Goddess and then meat was eaten as the prasadam so meat eating does exist in some clans as a part of their cultural heritage ..however Kanha bhakts such as Meera Bai later shunned meat eating and resorted to makhan Bhog😊 yet to watch repeat to gush about the episode😛

Well I too used to think they are the most strict vegetarians but than since I love to catch travel shows/ info I was shocked how most palace kitchens in Raj. Are famous for laal Maas meat and stuff ! Lol ! Even in MC India first season they had to cook for a King and contestants made non veg dishes ! Looks like royals in Rajasthan ate meat !

Yes they did Khush!! Bali pratha was prevalent and Mutton prasdam was very prominent in royal households..In fact Rajputs are not Aryans who were strict Veggies..
there is alos an interesting story in case of Meera bai that when she was married to Rana and after wedding asked to cook mata ka meat prasad like every royal bahu she out rightly refused to Sasur ji and said she is a Kanha bhakta and can only prepare Srikhand😳

Aaah yes Piu. I think I did hear that Nonveg story abt meera bai in school days ! Forgot lol !

I'm ok with her playing politics with jodha but she will loose my respect if she endangers Jalal in any way ! 😆
