the one thing is know clearly is the Jaziya tax, it took akbar a lot of time to understand that it was stupid to tax anyone going on a pilgrimage.

loved the 1st show, ekta mai keeps up the record of starting each show with a bang (I think mahabharat was an exception? 😆) hopefully this show doesn't get dragged n ruined.. I'm so excited to watch it and loving the female lead. rajat as usual is fab.

@Nisha: i get your point :) We dont really know!We cant really pinpoint which piece of information is true,because honestly,we weren't there at the time! 😆 and as the knowledgeable said,believe it,only when you see it.

So sinCe that is not possible now(unless a completely reliable time machine is built :P ),im just gonna enjoy the show.

so,best is,to just look at it as a means of entertainment.afterall,it is a television show. :)

p.s : I am Rajat Tokas superfan!So i might be a bit biased towards the show 😆 I did have my share of problems with the episode myself,but none of that mattered,because I honestly enjoy watching Rajat on screen :)

even I was shockd to see that robery scene at mandir!!!!
I dont believe Akbar ever did that!!!!! highly disapointed!!!!!

Yep...that's what I am treating it as...a television show. Not going to worry at all about whether it's historically accurate because it doesn't matter. It's not like I or historians would learn history from a tv show.

The show with Rajat Tokas that I watched was Tere Liye (the one with Harshad Chopra). I thought he was okay in that one but then he started to annoy me when he turned evil. I have heard Prithviraj Chauhan is good and I tried watching it, but Rajat just seemed so young in that show that I simply could not. His acting wasn't that good then. But I have watched SBS clips and he has improved a lot in his acting since then. So I am sure he will be good in this show. The only thing I do not like is his voice...it's too too soft. You have a mental image in your head of Akbar. This masculine larger than life being...the voice is just not sitting well with my mental image. I hope I can get over it soon.

Btw the guy was most definitely not a saint. He had killed about 30000 Hindus at one go in his early years. And about Jodha being his daughter-in-law, it's a mistake people make. Agree with your every word buddy ! I'm here to watch a grand love story...not some hirstorical document...so I care a damn about whether they are following the history books word by word !

Speaking of this , PRC , JKR n other popular ' historical ' shows showed 99 % fictional stuffs ! Anybody bothered ? No ! 😆

From seeing bits n parts of Parijat in promos n promotional events...I'm sure Rajat n Paridhi will have electrifying , scorching , sizzling chemistry and I'm here just to watch them together . 😳 Rest , I care a damn , as long as I find the screen intriguing , entertaining n interesting !

Mahabharat was made into a joke, luked like we were watching some Greek historical show and thankfully the show was chopped off very soon 😆

@blue : I cannot agree with you on this.For a 14 year old,he was just brilliant.It even fetched him the best actor award in ita 2007,defeating all the adults you know 😳

In today's times,i cant think of any actor,other than him,who can actually act that well n have the good looks!He sis good with action/romance as well!

Im pretty sure he will do a brilliant job as Akbar!

I think tere liye ruined it for you.His character was compromised there.So,happens.

PRC was a well done show.Whether it was teh story,the direction,the acting,the action-name it,you have it.If you compare all the historical we have had till now,PRC definitely stands out.

I think you should give it another try,witha fresh mind,try to get robbie out of ur head 😆

@red : disagree again.He has great control over his voice.His has the manly growl as well as the innocence of a lover.

Anyway,you a different view point,i have my own :) No issues.

p.s : a word of advice,Rajat pankhis (me included 😳 ) are very defensive, n i think we should be.He is a remarkable actor afterall.So i wont be surprised if i see an uproar here 😆
