I agre quite a lot for most part with the TM. And ever since the promos went on air, I've felt quite put off by this "Kya Jodha bana paayegi usey insaan?" premise! 😕

I believe PH and CVs have almost 99.9% taken inspiration from the JA movie mainly for this serial. I wonder what research they have done, how serious they are about history elements or intricacies such as language.

NDTV Imagine's serial on Meera also had same issues and looked like a very bad copy of JA, with everything dumbed down to make it a daily soap! Meera's love for Lord Krishna was made something of a childish obsession in it.

I hope this show is high quality. The leads seem fine but the rest of the cast looks odd - with their mannerisms, looks, diction, voice modulation etc.

I hope Ekta Kapoor has LEARNT from debacle of that disastrous Kahani Hamare Mahabharat Kay!!

They must ensure quality. Cannot make it a daily soap or dumb it down. And drama or romance is fine but do not compromise on history.

Or else she could have attempted some fairy tale like Beauty and the Beast and twisted it to her pleasure!

Lastly, I would like to see more uniqueness in this show, rather than a carbon copy of JA the film! Please do add original touch!

The production house needs to draw line somewhere when portraying Akbar. Personally I found the movie far better since the character of Akbar had dignity and self-respect. He might have been cruel or ruthless but not like this. Akbar shown in the show seems to be the complete bad boy of today who is egoistic and heartless.

As far as I have heard he was different when young but he was not heartless. He had a great admiration for the arts and was tolerant of other religions and aware of his people.

Anyhow...I'll just have to wait and watch.

dont know much about akbar but as far as the movie was considered there is lot of difference shown between dat akbar in film n dis show akbar...
would agree on language part...in some parts it's common Hindi they use

I have heard..Akhbar was cruel!!!..But he CHANGED...and Jhodha also contributed in changing him...!

Yes exactly...i was muddled when is aw this Akbar and when i think of the movie Akbar 😕
