Thanks for the links, Appa ji. I knew debo did not mess up the lyrics when I saw toshi totally losing it after debo asked to play the tape again😆 toshi started saying debo ney dil per ley liya when he knew very well it's him who was at fault.

If "maa ka sapna" and "old age homes" are drama then going to mandir or masjid is also drama....and so is giving janam din ki duhai to beg for votes after singing pathetically😉😛

Okay thanks! I thought Debo was overreacting about bringing the tape back etc but if he didnt mess up the lyrics then he reacted fine.

Nope. I don't think we are "going too far". People put their faith in different things - religion being just one of them. If debo putting his faith in india's abandoned old people on a t.v. show is wrong then so is someone flashing their religious faith on a t.v. show. No difference there. Both are trying to garner votes from different strata of society.

Please don't bring faith, religious beliefs, or anything on that line here. Please. Its a request.

Lets put it this way. Old age home is something that is beyond the scope of the singing program. Similarly, someone's faith, and belief in God is also beyond the scope of the singing show. The audience does not need to know about all these things. Therefore, anything that is not required and is still done anyway may be considered as "Drama" or "Vote Getting Techniques".

Also, no one needs to know the birthdays of the contestants.

how i see it - at least debo was asking for votes for a noble cause...not some selfish mundane reason like not getting eliminated on his birthday 😆 how lame was that attempt of toshi...eh 😆

I agree with the topic starter as well..and he wasn't respecting Debu instead mocking him. I think Debu is one of the most humble and honest guys on the show along with Abhijeet and Harshit. Toshi needs to learn to take constructive criticism in the right sense. And he needs to learn that when he makes a judgment about another's performance he needs to be ready with enough backing for that judgment. When he was giving statements about Debu's performance and Debu is like can we see the tape again..Toshi is like chordo yaar...y? If Debu didn't agree then why should he forget about it?😕
