Toshi - Arrogance at its best

I just watched today's episode. I must say, Toshi disappointed me big time today. I don't think I have said anything bad about Toshi so far, but Toshi's behavior today was completely unacceptable.

I have always considered Toshi as not a very good playback singer but a wonderful classical singer. Afterall he comes from the Sabri family. But today I am having second thoughts about Toshi being a good classical singer. A good classical singer ALWAYS understands when he/she goes besura.

Today Toshi's performance could be termed as "HORRIBLE AT ITS BEST" and he should have realized that. He was besura throughout and the pitching was bad.

Debu rightly pointed that out, but in reply Toshi mocks him calling Debu as "USTAD DEBOJIT KHAN". That was totally uncalled for and his arrogance speaking. He had the attitude like "what the hell does this guy know", and I am the best. Coming from Sabri family he should have known better that in the classical music world, you don't use the words like Ustad and Pandit mockingly.

I loved the way Vishal put Toshi on his place. "Bahat Bura tha Yaar" was the best thing a good judge could have said. Also liked Vishal's Vibe comment.

mate i think you need watch the episode again! Toshi was messing with him and gave him respect by calling debu 'dadda' bt debo dont knw wot his problm is took it seriously and toshi kept saying mate calm down im joking bt then there a limit the anger on debo eyes was shocking...he had it for toshi and wen toshi got bad marks he was smirking this is disgusting! Insallah toshi b in top 3 then vishal and debu face will be something il b paying attention to!!

Toshi didnt sing that bad today if anything i thot rahul sang worse bt i dont see anyone comment there!

Totally agree with u but i want to make clear that Toshi does not belong to the famous SABRI family as stated by Wikipedia here :

dont be THAT harsh..please! Other contestants have had their bad days as well. Are we all forgetting when rahul, harshit AND Abhijeet sang badly? Dont term someone horrible or not a good singer just because of this...he needs support right now, not negative feedback please!

Toshi was disappointing
I am sure he was not trying to be really mean
but Vishal is right there is a way to say things
he needs to learn that

oh btw
Rahul did not sing bad at all
why does everyone have to bring rahul in every convo i mean he knows his singing
atleast he was in sur!! not unlike someone else
and today i loved him even more the way he hugged harshit

because if i was him i would not hug someone who embarrased me before

Well, let everyone decide on their own "what Toshi's real attitude was?" We have seen what Vishal thought of that.

BTW, it is not the first time someone called Debu "Bhaiyya" and "Dada" and then try to stab him at the back. 😉 So, Debu knows how to handle these situations.

I do not have any problem with Toshi singing badly. Every singer has good and bad days. But his attitude was wrong, especially "Ustad Debojit Khan".
