is this really what it comes down to? now people are voting based on how old someone is? everyone has had their besura times. but as far as overall technicality goes, i dont think vineet deserved to leave so early.

Hey, it doesn't really matter who or what age group is voting for you as long as you keep getting more votes than your competitors. Debo won over vinit three times in a row in shows that had/have a huge batcha party following as well. Should tell you something😉

Debojit is miles ahead of vineet in terms of pure singing.. at least he sounds like a man

Sorry but vineet needs 5 more years before he can be considered for playback singing.. right now he can continue to run around singing amateurly on stage..

I am a Harshit fan and I absolutely adore him but I will acknowledge the fact that I have seen him using his dadi for emotional effects on voters both during asvoi and during jjws.

See, the way these shows' format is, the contestants have to appeal to voters. Thye can't just bank on their singing. If singing alone was sufficient, Aishwarya and Amey would not have left so early in the show, Ishmeet would have left after vinit and vinit should have left after toshi and debo would have been in finale while rahul should have been out in debo's place. But it doesn't work that way.

This is why getting the voters on your side is equally important as good singing. Some do this by immature acts, feigned crushes, inconsistent emotional stories about getting a key board that becomes guitar in one show and god knows what in the other show. Different contestants aim to please different strata of viewers.

Vinit's tactics worked with some young ones but Debo's heartfelt appeal got across to many more viewers than Vinit. Don't know how that makes Debo a cheater.

As far as Debo and Vinit's age difference, as I see you sarcastically call him "uncle" pretty much all the time, well, Vinit should have known this before participating in non-chhotey ustaad singing contestant. Definitely not Debo's fault😊

Debo won fair and square in each and every contest so far. He won over vinit because he is a better singer and also a better human being. The attitude does come across on the screen😊 Now who among them makes more money via playback or selling albums is an altogether different thing and only time will tell who will be more successful. Going by the voting patterns so far, Debo has won far too many hearts than Vinit😃

In final public votings people the singers from the Bengal region or nearby and Bengalis have shown that they are formidable.

Vinit was fantastic in SRGMP 2005. Standards dropped unfortunately like most singers do. Debu too is a "has been" unfortunately and lacks energy. Between the two I prefer Vinit , but he has to buck up.

Now I see several young singers with great potential. Abhijeet is pretty good too and has a very likeable personality. Rahul too is great.

I enjoyed the fight between Debu and Toshi, looks like all made up.😆
